One of the hottest accessories around at the moment for the HTC HD2 is a desk stand or dock. There are a few different styles available, so I thought I’d run through our most popular HTC HD2 Docks and highlight some of the differences between them.
Mercury Desk Stand For The HTC HD2
The Mercury Desk Stand is available on it’s own and also features in the HTC HD2 Platinum Pack. While the stand on it’s own won’t charge or sync your phone, it has built in cable holders to keep your data cable close to hand and is a great way to show off your HTC HD2 to everyone in the office.

Mercury Desk Stand For The HTC HD2
HTC HD2 Desktop Charging Cradle
Straight forward and simple, just drop your HD2 into the charging cradle and it will charge and sync with your PC.

HTC HD2 Desktop Charging Cradle
HTC HD2 Dual Charging Cradle
This cradle is a great way to charge your phone and a spare battery at the same time. Like the desktop cradle mentioned above, it connects to a spare USB port on any PC or laptop and will allow you to sync your phone with your computer while it charges. If you have a second battery for your phone this will save you the hassle of having to keep swapping the batteries over, just to charge them.

HTC HD2 Dual Charging Cradle
Deluxe HTC HD2 Desktop Charging Cradle
The Deluxe cradle is similar in many ways to the one shown above, but has a classier, glossy finish and a fold down cover that hides the battery charging port when not in use. It will sync and charge your phone at the same time and holds your phone at the perfect angle for reading emails and text messages.

HTC HD2 Car Docking Kit – CU S400
Who says that car holders have to be dull? Certainly not HTC! The CU S400 Car Upgrade Kit is a stylish way to mount your HD2 in the car. The Dock part of the kit consists of a holder for the phone and a rotating mount that you connect a car charger on to. What’s even more interesting is that when docked, the HD2 automatically goes into car mode, switching to a landscape ‘navipanel’ with larger icons to make it easier to use while driving.

Genuine HTC HD2 Extended Battery
You might be wondering why a battery is listed in a HD2 Desk Stands post, but as well as being an extended battery for the HTC HD2, the replacement back cover for your phone has a built in desk stand. This makes it a great choice if you enjoy watching videos on your phone as it gives you an ‘always with you’ desk stand and an extra battery too.

Genuine HTC HD2 Extended Battery with Kick Stand
We’re still waiting for HTC to confirm a Genuine HD2 Desk Dock, but as soon as they do we’ll update this page with the details. To make sure you don’t miss anything subscribe to the RSS feed using the links at the top of the page. If you’ve not see a Desk Stand here that does what you’re looking for, why not take a look at the full range of HTC HD2 Desk Stands.

E-Readers have been around for a while in the UK and are slowly gaining popularity. The most popular e-Reader has been the Amazon Kindle, but up until November it was only available in America. Earlier this month Amazon launched an International version of the Kindle DX to sit alongside the standard Kindle in the UK. It’s essentially the same as the Kindle, but has a larger 9.7 inch screen along with a few new features that allow it to work worldwide.

Kindle DX Accessories Now Available
The Kindle DX has already started shipping from America and if you’ve ordered one and are patiently waiting for it to arrive, now is the perfect time to protect your investment and find the perfect accessories to keep it safe and help make the most of your new Kindle DX.
We’ve just launched our range of Kindle DX accessories and have a selection of Kindle DX Cases, Kindle DX Screen Protectors and Kindle DX Reading Lights available and have more coming over the next few weeks. To get you started, here are our Top 10 Kindle DX Accessories.
1. M-Edge GO! Genuine Leather Kindle DX Jacket – Black
The GO! Jacket for the Kindle DX is a slim, compact jacket that features classic lines and an ultra-slim profile. Even while closed, you’ll find access to all ports, so you never need to remove your reader for charging. It also takes advantage of the mounting system built into the Kindle DX to make sure that it doesn’t fall out. M-Edge Go! Cases are available in a number of different colours and each one has a built in pocket to hold the eLuminator 2 reading light.

2. M-Edge e-Luminator Kindle Booklight – White
The M-Edge eLuminator2, a reading light that has been designed to fit into a pocket in M-Edge cases for the Kindle DX. It provides a soft, even light across the screen of your Kindle DX and can be folded away neatly when not required. It runs on it’s own batteries and using it won’t drain the battery in your Kindle DX.

3. InvisibleSHIELD Full Body Protector – Amazon Kindle DX
If you want to protect your Kindle DX but don’t want the extra bulk of a case then you should take a look at InvisibleSHIELD. They’re more than a screen protector but not really a full case. They’re a tough, thin film that covers all of your Kindle. Installation takes a bit of patience, but the end result is well worth it. It covers almost all of the Kindle DX and will withstand the toughest of scrapes. The InvisibleSHIELD has a matte finish with a non-slip feel to it. It is great at repelling fingerprints and reducing reflections and as the InvisibleShield doesn’t add any extra bulk to the Kindle DX you can use in in conjunction with most Kindle DX Cases.

4. Noreve Black Leather Book Case – Amazon Kindle DX
Noreve cases are similar to those by Tuff-Luv, but are made from a higher grade leather and instead of sliding your Kindle DX into a pocket, the Noreve case has a built in ‘rail’ system that allows you to securely mount your Kindle DX in the case without covering the device. The front cover is lightly padded to protect the screen of your Kindle DX and the inside of the cover has a number of pockets for you to store your passport, business cards, travel tickets etc.

5. Car Charger – Amazon Kindle DX
The battery in the Kindle DX is good for many hours of reading, but there will be times that you forget to put it on charge. This Kindle DX Car charger will let you charge the battery in the car and ensure that you arrive at your destination to finish your book!

6. XtraFlex2 Kindle DX Reading Light – Black
I’m sure most Kindle DX users like to settle down for a read before bed, but reading in the dark is a bit tricky. The Kindle DX doesn’t have a backlit display, so in order to read in reduced light you’ll need to get yourself a reading light for your Kindle DX. The XtraFlex2 Reading light has been developed to work with all eReaders including the Kindle & Kindle DX. The XtraFlex2 has a flexible, adjustable neck and the lamp has 2 LED bulbs that spread light evenly over the display. You can chose to use just one or both of the LED’s so finding a lighting level to suit won’t be a problem. It runs on batteries so won’t put any extra drain on the Kindle DX’s battery and can be used with old fashioned paper books too!

7. Tuff-Luv Black Leather Flip Case – Amazon Kindle DX
Another case for the Kindle DX, this time from Tuff-Luv. The Flip Case is hinged at the top rather than the side and has a slot at the top for you to slide your Kindle DX in to. Once it’s in there’s no chance of it falling out. All of the buttons and controls have cut outs and the case doesn’t interfere with their use.
What makes this case different to the rest listed here is the built in stand. On the back of the case is a fold away stand that once in place will hold your Kindle DX upright. The stand is perfect for when you want to read on long plane or train journeys and don’t want the arm ache that you get from holding a book for long periods of time. Just stand it up on the tray on the back of the seat in front of you and your Kindle DX is perfectly positioned.

8. Skullcandy Smokin’ Bud – White/Chrome
One of the newer features on the new Kindle DX is Read To Me –It’s a way to sit back and relax while your book is read out to you. There are built in speakers, but for better audio clarity you’ll need a set of headphones. Any 3.5mm headphones should work with the Kindle DX, so we tried the Skullcandy Smokin’ Buds with ours and thought they did a great job. They’re colour matched to the Kindle DX and extremely comfortable to wear, making them perfect for when you want to just sit back, relax and let your Kindle DX read to you.

9. USB All in One Charger Pack
You’d think that Amazon would have included at least a worldwide travel adapter in with the Kindle DX considering that they’re now shipping them around the world, but for some reason they’ve decided to send them all out with an American mains adapter. You can of course charge it up using the USB cable connected to your PC, but what if you’re out and about and need to charge it? You can’t beat a proper Mains charger so for that reason we’ve launched a UK Kindle DX USB All in One Charger Pack that will let you charge your new eReader anywhere you want. It includes USB mains and car charger adapters as well as a retractable extension cable. Just plug in your existing charging cable and away you go.

10. M-Edge Latitude Kindle DX Jacket – Red
The Latitude Jacket for the Amazon Kindle DX is the must-have accessory jacket for the active eReader user. The Latitude Jacket, made of durable ripstop nylon, provides superior Kindle DX protection and utilizes a four-point mounting system to secure your Kindle DX. It has stitched in pockets that you can use to carry around your charging cable too.

M-Edge Latitude Kindle DX Jacket - Red
This isn’t the full range of latest generation Kindle DX accessories, just our current favourites. Over the next few weeks more accessories will be arriving and I’ll update this post as and when new items arrive. In the mean time if there’s a particular accessory that you want for your Kindle DX, let us know using the comments form below.

If you find that you often run out of pockets to carry all your gadgets around in, then Urban Tool holsters could be the answer to your problem.
Instead of weighing down your jacket or throwing your phone, camera and MP3 player into your bag, Urban Tool holsters are a comfortable way to carry all your devices.
There are currently 6 different Urban Tool Holsters & bags to choose from, to give you an idea on the differences between them, here’s a quick summary of each one.
Urban Tool Business Holster
The Business Holster borrows some of it’s styling from the gun holsters seen in American Cop shows. It has 6 pockets that can hold Mobile Phones, wallets, mp3 players, keys, pens and more. The key holder is on a retractable strap and headphones can be threaded through it to prevent them getting tangled up. It has padded straps which make it comfortable to wear and is it doesn’t add much bulk can easily be worn under jackets and coats. The Business Holster will suit a number of people – from those that commute on busy trains and don’t like to carry bags right through to sporty people who lead an active life but don’t want to be without their phones, cameras and MP3 players.

Urban Tool Business Holster
Urban Tool SportHolster
If you enjoy going to the gym, cycling, jogging or taking part in just about any other sporting activity then you’ve probably figured out already that carrying your phone or MP3 player while you’re working out isn’t that easy – especially if you’re only wearing lycra! they either bounce around and fall out of your pocket or you end up running with them in your hand and getting tangled up in the earphone cables. The SportHolster solves this problem really well. It has 2 pockets on the front (one in each strap) and a larger mesh pocket on the back that can be used for storing your phone, iPod or camera, as well as 2 hidden pockets that you can use to store cash or bank cards. The SportHolster has the same retractable key holder and channels for you to feed your headphones through as the Business Holster. For added safety while you’re out and about at night, the SportHolster has reflective strips built into the shoulder pads and back panel.

Urban Tool SportHolster
Urban Tool SlotBar
The SlotBar is a compact shoulder bag with a twist. Unlike most small shoulder bags that have one large pocket for everything, the SlotBar has multiple pockets for your gadgets. Gone are the days of spending ages rummaging through your bag to find things. It has a large pocket on the back that can hold a small netbook or A5 sized book and 5 pockets on the front that can hold phones, cameras, wallets & keys etc. Not only does it make finding your gadgets quicker, but it also reduces the chance of anything getting damaged or scratched. If wearing the bag on your shoulder doesn’t appeal, you can adjust the strap on the bag to wear it around your waist as a hip bag.

Urban Tool SlotBar
Urban Tool HipHolster
The HipHolster is a unique and novel way of carry your gadgets around with you. It clips around your waist (and leg) and provides a secure and convenient way to carry your gadgets with you. It features 3 pockets for your phone/MP3 player and camera as well as a retractable keyring and a hidden passport pocket on the rear. It’s ideal for anyone travelling as you won’t have to keep stopping to hunt around in your bags to get to your phone or camera. Regular festival goers would also benefit from the HipHolster as it means you can keep all your important gadgets with you without filling your pockets.

Urban Tool HipHolster
Urban Tool CaseBelt
The Casebelt is a smaller version of the HipHolster and is a modern take on the Bum-Bag! It has 2 good sized pockets for your phone and camera as well as a cable tidy for your headphones and retractable keyring. Like most of the other Urban Tool holsters, there is a secret zip pocket on the back inside back that can be used to keep your money or bank cards safe. It’s quite small and can easily be worn under coats and jackets for when you don’t want it to be seen.

Urban Tool CaseBelt
Urban Tool SportStrap Armband
Sports Armbands are nothing new, they’ve been around for a number of years thanks mainly to Apple’s iPod, but the Urban Tool SportStrap is slightly different. It’s not made to work with any one particular device and has a good sized pocket that can be used to keep your phone or MP3 Player safe. It can be adjusted easily to fit any size arm and is made from a hydrophobic fabric that keeps your device protected against moisture and sweat. It has a small second pocket that can be used for storing keys, cash or headphones .

Urban Tool SportStrap Armband
Urban Tool Holsters are certainly unique, I’ve never seen anything like them before, but it’s good to see something a little bit different make an appearance. They may not suit everyone, but if you lead a more active lifestyle then I’m sure you’d find them useful. We’re keen to hear what people think about them, so let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Last July we published a list of the top 10 iPhone 3GS Cases, but that was 6 months ago and in the mobile phone world, 6 months is a long time. The iPhone is more popular than ever and is now available on 3 of the biggest UK mobile networks. Since the iPhone 3GS was launched we’ve released more cases for the iPhone than we have for any other phone, so I thought it was time to take a look and see how things have changed and find out which are the current top 10 iPhone cases.
The cases listed below are our top selling iPhone cases and are ranked based on their popularity over the last 6 months.
1. iPhone Charging Leather Case
Not only does this case protect your iPhone, it can charge your phone and give you up to 4 hours more talk time or 36 hours more music playback. Just slide your iPhone into the case and flick the switch to start charging. The case can be charged easily using a standard Mini USB cable in around 2 hours.

2. iPhone Carry Pouch
The iPhone Leather Carry pouch covers all of the iPhone and has a fold over flap with a magnetic fastening to keep it in place. The rear of the case has a stitched belt loop, which means that the case can be attached to a belt/bag strap for added security. The case has a cut out on the bottom that makes it easier for you to push your iPhone out.

3. Silicone Case Twin Pack for iPhone
As the name suggests, Silicone Cases are made from a soft flexible Silicone gel that covers almost all of your iPhone. The only part left exposed is the screen, so you’ll need to use an iPhone screen protector to prevent scratches. Silicone cases add very little to your phone in the way of bulk or weight, and are a great way to protect your iPhone against minor knocks and scrapes.

4. Seidio iPhone Innocase II Surface
Innocase II are made of two sleeves that slide onto the top and bottom of your iPhone and lock together. This makes it almost impossible for the cover to come off your phone when you drop it. Innocase II Surface doesn’t cover the screen of your phone though, so I’d recommend using a iPhone screen protector to prevent it getting scratched.

5. Beyza iPhone Vertical Leather Case
Beyza cases are slim, leather pockets for your iPhone that add very little bulk to your phone. They’re made from genuine leather and have a soft felt lining that cleans your iPhone everytime you slide it in and out. As they have quite a neat fit to your phone, the Beyza cases have a cut out at the base that helps you to push your phone out of the case. It’s designed to be carried in your bag or pocket and doesn’t have a belt clip or belt loop.

6. Piel Frama Pull Case For Apple iPhone
Slim leather pockets are proving to be extremely popular for the iPhone. The Piel Frama Pull Case is similar to the Beyza case, but has a built in fabric pull tab that makes getting your phone out of the case quick and easy. Each Piel Frama case is hand made from top quality leather.

7. iPhone Orion Case by Krusell
The Orion Case is a leather, book style case that has a moulded holder for your iPhone. What makes this case unique, is that the moulded holder has a built in kick stand and can be used to prop your phone up at the perfect angle for watching videos. On the inside of the case is a pocket for bank and credit cards.

8. Case-Mate Barely There for iPhone – Chrome
The Barely There case is a protective back cover and a screen protector for your iPhone. It has a high gloss chrome finish that will really make your phone stand out. Cut outs on the case let you use the camera, headphones and charger without having to remove it from the case, and to make sure that everyone knows you’ve got an iPhone, the Apple logo is also exposed.

9. Knomo Sleeve For iPhone
Knomo are a designer brand who are well known for their high quality laptop bags. The Knomo Sleeve for the iPhone is just as luxurious and is a great, slim case to protect your iPhone. Each case is hand crafted from soft full grain leather and has a velveteen lining that helps to keep your phone clean and free from fingerprints.

10. SwitchEasy Capsule Rebel Case for iPhone – Serpent
The SwitchEasy Rebel Case is available in a range of colours and consists of 2 parts, a tough silicon skin to prevent scratches and a polycarbonate ‘exoskeleton’ that protects your phone agains knocks and scrapes. Included with each of the Rebel cases are 2 screen protectors, a stand that supports your phone in landscape mode for watching videos, and adapter for the Apple Universal Dock that lets you sync & charge without removing the case, a rubber dock connector cover and a cleaning cloth. The Rebel Case was highly recommended in a recent review by iLounge.

Jawbone have just announced their 4th Bluetooth Headset – The Jawbone Icon.
Like every Jawbone before it, it features Noise Assassin technology to almost eliminate background noise and has a smart modern look, but what makes the Icon stand out?

Jawbone Icon Bluetooth Headset
Apart from being the smallest and lightest headset that Jawbone have produced, it has a number of improvements and new features. The Jawbone ICON lets you set custom tones and multiple voices to alert you to incoming calls. One of the new features onboard is called MyTALK, this allows you to control mini-apps that change the voices or language and allows you to customize a button to call voicemail or a predefined contact in your phonebook. You can find more information on how MyTalk works at the Jawbone MyTalk website.
The other major change is a welcome one – Jawbone are supporting the switch to Micro USB charging and as a result, the Icon uses a standard Micro USB mains charger, rather than their proprietary connection found on older headsets. This is great news as it now means you’ll be able to use the same charger on your phone and headset.
If you’re an iPhone user, the Jawbone ICON’s remaining battery life is displayed on your iPhone’s status bar so you’ll be able to see at a glance whether the headset needs charging.

Jawbone Icon transmits battery level to the iPhone
Multipoint support has also been improved. On the Jawbone Prime you could answer a second call from a second phone, but this would result in the original caller being disconnected. With the Jawbone Icon you can now place the first caller on hold while you take the call from your second phone.

Jawbone Icon - The Rogue
The software on the Jawbone Icon can be upgraded and new features such as A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) support will be available for the headset not long after it’s launch. This means that you can use it to listen to music from your phone, but as the Icon only has one earpiece you’ll obviously only be able to hear it in one ear. To make sure that you don’t miss anything, the Icon converts stereo audio into mono audio. Not great for listening to music, but good enough for watching videos or YouTube on your phone.
The Icon will be available in 6 designs, The Hero, The Rogue, The Catch, The Bombshell, The Ace & The Thinker.
Pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed in the UK so we’ll keep our ears open and post any updates on here as and when we get them. To make sure you don’t miss out, either subscribe to our RSS feed or head over to the product pages where you can sign up for email updates on the Jawbone Icon.
