Do you have a drawer full of old Nokia Chargers at home that you don’t use anymore, but haven’t got round to throwing away? You’d be right for thinking that current phones no longer use the old 3.5mm charging connection, so what do you do with them? Throwing them away seems like a waste, and you’ve probably got other devices in the house with broken or missing chargers. Wouldn’t it be great if you could put these old Nokia chargers to good use and use them with other devices?
Well, the fantastic news is, you can!
We’ve just refreshed our range of charger adapters that will allow you to use your old Nokia Mains Charger with almost any other mobile phone or handheld device.
The way they work is simple, just attach the adapter to the end of your Nokia Charger and connect it to your phone, It couldn’t be easier.

Nokia have the largest handset range of all the mobile phone manufacturers, and with most of their handsets looking pretty similar, getting the right accessories for your Nokia phone can be quite tricky – especially if you don’t know the model number of your phone.
Nokia have tried to keep it relatively simple over the years by dividing their handsets up in to ‘series’ or ranges. Probably the most well known range is the more recent N-Series, but every one of their handsets belong to a series of handsets whether it be 1000 series, 2000 series etc, where the series is determined by the first digit of the model number.
This short guide will show you a few quick and easy ways to work out which Nokia phone you have.
Check your phone

Some phones have the model number printed above the screen
This might seem like a really obvious thing to suggest, but some Nokia handsets will have their model number printed on the housing somewhere. If you have bought your Nokia direct from your network, you may find that the model number has been replaced with the networks logo. If this is the case – try the next step: (more…)

Since the launch of the iPhone App Store by Apple last year, we’ve seen an explosion in the amount of applications, games and ringtones for mobile phones. Phones are now getting smarter than ever before and many now allow us to install extra applications and add functionality to our phones. Over the next few weeks I’m going to be compiling a list of the top applications for each of the different mobile phone operating systems; Symbian S60 3rd edition, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android, iPhone & Java.

Symbian S60 V3 Handsets From Nokia
I’m starting off with Symbian 60 3rd Edition (also known as S60 V3). If this doesn’t mean much to you, don’t worry, S60 V3 is probably the most common operating system and is found in most Nokia N-Series (N95, N96) and Nokia E-Series (E71, E66) handsets. Over the last few months there have also been a few handsets from Samsung that run S60 such as the Samsung INNOV8. The latest touch screen phones from Nokia – the N97 and the 5800 XpressMusic run on Symbian software, but as they are touchscreen, they run on S60 V5 so the applications listed here won’t work on them. I’ll be compiling a list of Symbian 60 5th edition applications shortly.

With so many different mobile phone cases and covers available, people often ask us “Which is the best case for my phone” so to help you out, here’s a list of our best cases for the Samsung F480 Tocco.
1. Samsung Tocco Flip Case
This is the case that you might have got in the box with your Samsung Tocco. It’s a thin fold down case that also doubles up as a replacement battery cover. It’s available in Black and Pink and is the most popular case currently available.

2. Samsung Tocco Leather Flip Case by PDair
PDair leather cases are a range of elegant, hand stitched leather cases designed to protect and enhance your Samsung Tocco. Each case is selected from premium leather cuts and is individually designed to give a perfect fit to your phone. PDair cases are available in a range of styles to suit all tastes. Due to high demand for PDair cases, stock is often limited so you’ll need to be quick if we have stock.

3. Samsung Tocco FlexiShield Skin
The back of your Samsung Tocco might start to scratch if it’s not looked after. FlexiShield Skins for the Samsung Tocco are thicker and tougher than normal Silicone Cases and will certainly give your F480 more bounce if you drop it! It has a non slip feel to it and covers all of the back of the handset, leaving the camera free for you to take your photos. It doesn’t cover the screen though, so you’ll need to invest in a Samsung Tocco screen protector if you want to prevent your screen from getting scratched.

4. Samsung Tocco ToughGuard Shell
ToughGuard Shields are a similar kind of case to a Crystal Case, but they are much more robust. Rather than being made from clear plastic, they are made from a more flexible, energy absorbing polycarbonate. This means that the case is unlikely to break or shatter if you drop your phone and will divert impact damage away from your Samsung Tocco. ToughGuard Shields don’t cover the screen, so we’d recommend using a Samsung Tocco Screen Protector with it. These cases are a secure fit to your phone and are more suited to people who want to put a case on their phone and leave it on permanently.

5. Samsung Tocco Silicone Case
Silicone Cases are a cost effective way of looking after your Tocco. While they don’t protect it against impact as much as a FlexiShield would, they will prevent damage from light knocks and scrapes.
