Hi Sambert,
As far as I know, what you're trying to do isn't possible. You need to use a bluetooth headset as the Audio device, not your phone.

If you want to make skype calls using your mobile, you'll be better off using an application such as fring. this will let you make free skype to skype calls, just make sure you've got an unlimited data plan on your tariff.

I am trying to use my Nokia 6233 as a bluetooth headset with a Widcomm BT driver on my Dell Latitude E6400.
They are paired, I can activate the Audio Gateway in My BT Places and have allowed BTSTAC~1.exe access to Skype.
My Nokia phone shows a headset connected to it.
Also, in Skype and in Windows Audio settings I am able to select Bluetooth Handsfree as the audio device.

But when I make a call using Skype - it shows me a message to check if my microphone is connected. Also, I do not see or hear anything on my phone.

What could be the issue?

Hi Franklin,

Pretty much all bluetooth headsets will do what you want. Once you've paired it to your laptop, you just need to change the default audio settings to always use bluetooth.

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A350/ Satellite A350D Laptop which has no microphone in it. Could you advise me on the type of portable bluetooth headset microphone to buy?
I live in Ontario Canada (Mississauga).
