The battery pack does recharge all the above items but with the Apple items I found I needed to use the Apple leads rather than the adapter which was supplied. Then it was fine. With the camera, again I needed its own lead but the Samsung was ok with what was supplied. It's certainly not as fast as charging in the normal way so it's best not to wait till you've lost power but it will give a boost in an emergency. It does mean carrying leads around with it though. The little pouch will take them too.
The instructions tell you to recharge the battery pack from your PC but you can do it from a plug socket with an iPhone or iPad plug.
Conclusion- useful but a bit slow and you need to carry leads to cover all eventualities.
My phone runs out of oomph by the end of the day and I cannot find a replacement phone battery so this battery pack is used once the power is low at the end of the day. I charge it overnight with the phone so I don't know how long it takes to charge, but it keeps the phone going for ages.
It does what it says on the tin
Several times when out I have had to switch my HTC Desire phone completely off or risk the battery completely running out. This meant I was incommunicado for several hours. The Avantree Universal battery pack overcomes this problem. It was simple to charge up, and by reversing the USB and micro USB cable it can be used to keep the phone running when the battery is low. There are also a wide variety of connectors so few if any devices would be unchargeab le.
