Avantree HM100 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset Kit.
I bought this headset to use with my Sony Xperia E using the Co-Pilot App for a cheep alternative to buying an expensive satnav.
I have used this combination for over two weeks and found it very easy to use.
It was simple to pair with my phone and the audio was perfect when using the Co-Pilot App.
However playing music lacked bass which is not a huge problem for me.
Volume is very good too, you need it quite high when traveling at 60/70mph due to the wind noise.
Battery life I feel is pretty good, it lasted for over six hours of constant use and still didn't run out of juice. (I have not ran the battery right down as I prefer to charge everything back up when I'm home. So I cannot give an accurate time frame for battery life)
Bluetooth range is good too, works over 15m (through metal lined walls) which for me even with a pillion is perfect, you shouldn't need that range otherwise you have lost something/someone.
Overall I am very happy with the HM100 it does what is required at a low price.
What I was looking for but..
Product arrived superfast as always from Mobilefun and appears well made. Quick and simple fit onto my'flip front' crash helmet without any problem and the controls of the unit are easy to use while wearing gloves (essential consideration). All good BUT despite many attempts the HM100 will NOT connect with my Nokia 700. The unit will connect with a Samsung B2710 but this is not my usual phone so dissappointed on that point hence only 3 stars otherwise would have been 4.
