Not just a good GPS but a brilliant pack!
This GPS is really brilliant. I bought it for my nokia N96 as I was not impressed by the interal GPS it kept cutting out and having issues.
This pack is soooo awesome, I was well impressed with what I got:
car charger
mains charger
phone holder
Magnetic holder
Buying this external GPS reciever was the best decision I have ever made, no more cut outs, no more fidgeting with the phone. The great thing is that it's so simple to use.
The reciever itself is small, accurate and just perfect.

Blackberry experience
I returned the Receiver because it did not work well with the Maps application on my Blackberry 8700g. I expected it to be able to locate my current position and, more often than not, it failed to do so. To be fair, I don't know if this was the fault of the receiver or the software but I returned the unit and a refund was given without question and very efficiently.

Hard to find something original to say about this little piece of magic - it just works perfectly and does everything it's supposed to. I'm using it with my SE K800i running Nav4all - it's completely free - and it works absolutely perfectly. Hard to think of any way this can be improved, it's totally unbeatable at the price. Anyone considering buying a GPS receiver should just buy one of these from Mobilefun. Absolutely chuffed to bits with it!

La la la la in America
I bought one of these units about three months ago, and I’m still happy. A couple of months ago we used it in Florida and it worked fantastically. There was something wrong with the hire car’s cigarette lighter socket, so the long battery life was reassuring and never let us down (charged it overnight with my “razor” phone charger). The rubber feet are very good at keeping the unit secure when you’re driving. I would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent service. Unit charged and found on orange spvm600 without a problem. Used it with sat-nav software and Fugawi digital OS maps on the above phone without a hitch. Hugely impressed with the unit. No frills, but works seemlessly with my N70 running Tom Tom 5 Mobile. Out of the box, quick charge and picked up 6 satellites in my office within 20 or so seconds. Smaller than anticipated and doesn't look flash so will be able to leave it in the car and not worry about it getting nicked. Can't recommend it enough for the price!

Excellent value for money
Firstly, superb service from MobileFun - ordered 3.30pm, arrived next morning by 10am.
Item is small and light, but feels pretty well built. Battery came pre-charged (at least partially), so I could try it out straight away.
I struggled initially with my O2 XDA Mini S to get it working. Paired fine, but the software apps I tried (Navio and GPS Tuner) would not communicate. I found this was because I was trying to use secure mode for the serial connection. I turned this off and it worked fine. (See next review for WM5 instructions.)
Initial satellite locking took a little while - be patient with this and make sure you're in an area with good signal. After the initialisation I can just turn it on and it works after a several seconds.
Using an app that records the GPS data to a .nmea file you use a little utility I found to convert it into a KML file so you can view your trip on Google Earth. I use NMEA2KML from netronics-pe.com (no affiliation).
For the money I'm very pleased with this device and it works excellently with my phone.

Instructions for Windows Mobile 5
I struggled initially with my O2 XDA Mini S to get it working. It paired fine, but the software apps I tried (Navio and GPS Tuner) would not communicate. I found this was because I was trying to use secure mode for the serial connection. I turned this off and it worked fine.
To configure for Windows Mobile 5:
1) Turn on Bluetooth
2) Access Bluetooth settings
3) Click on Devices tab
4) Click New Partnership
5) Select device when it is detected
6) Follow wizard
7) Click COM Ports tab
8) Select "New Outgoing Port"
9) Select "BT-GPS" device
10) Choose COM port
11) *Make sure secure connection is not ticked!*
12) Load your app
13) Set COM port with your previous choice.
14) Use settings:
-- Data bits: 8
-- Parity: N
-- Stop bits: 1
-- Speed: 4800
(I chose speed of 4800, but the device apparently can support up to 38400.)

Great little device.
Ordered the item on Thursday, was delivered 11am on Friday. Wasn't sure what to expect from the item given the price, I thought the build quality would lack slightly compared to the more expensive versions.
I opened the package, inserted the battery, placed it on charge, left it for 10 minutes.
Pairing with a Nokia 6630 was as easy as it gets, just told the Nokia to scan for devices and there it was on top of the list. Entered the PIN number for Bluetooth and away it went.
I let TomTom mobile 5 search for a signal for a few minutes while I was sitting in my office, although several sattelites were found, I couldn't actually get a fix on them (But I can't do that on my TomTom Go 500 Either).
I went outside, placed the gps on the rear of my motorbike, sat down to have a coffee, and withing two minutes I had a fix on around 5 sattelites. I played around walking around the car park seeing if my speed was registering and it was. Instructions are very bland, but they get the job done. Easy set up and good quality. :)

Just the job!
I was a bit dubious before ordering whether this would be the right device and whether it would work with my phone/PDA. I've got a QTEK 9000 and it works a treat. It's an excellent device and service from Mobile Fun was very quick and smooth.
Microsoft confused the issue because I had to create an "outgoing" serial port to the bluetooth connection.
Once I'd done that I'm able to use a serial port object in a c# program to read data from the GPS.
Connecting this device to bluetooth on my pc was even easier.
I well recommend you buy one of these.
It does exactly what it says on the tin for a very good price.

Wow!!!
I previously had a BT-308, or rather three of them!! After the third one broke, I decided to try a different manufacturer.
So far I have found this one to be absolutely superb, and it is ten times better than the BT-308 from Globalsat.
It picks up a better signal, picks up the signal faster, and works in the glovebox without needing to attach an external aerial.
Two of my Globalsat devices broke because I accidentally left the unit switched on. On recharging, the bluetooth just stopped working. With this GPS unit, it goes into power save if it has had no bluetooth communication for 15 minutes, and then turns itself off fully after a further 15 minutes.
And, as an added bonus, all of a sudden I started getting warnings when a speed camera is near.
This truly is a superb device, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Top gadget with top service
Fantastic delivery time, meaning the GPS unit was out of the box, charged and in use within 24 hours. Nokia N70 with TomTom V5.0 sync'd with it and acquired quickly, and was put to use, proving that you dont have to spend a shedload of money to get a quality GPS receiver. I ordered one too many, but the service I received from MobileFun before, during and after return of the extra receiver was second to none. Staff are friendly and informative and are willing to help in any way. 10/10 for both product and company as far as I'm concerned.

Bluetooth Magic The Ultimate In Car Gismo
This little box of tricks really does the business. Had trouble with the first faulty one, called Mobile Fun, returned it and got a brand new one and postage refunded. First Class Service. Had no trouble getting it running on my SPV 500, however took a bit of fine tuning on my XDA 2 - but eventually got it to respond. Don't be put off by unknown brand, it's a little belter and took me all the way to New Wine in Shepton Mallet and back with no drop outs and all on a single charge - 7.5 hours. Forget Ebay and it's high postal charges, buy this, you won't regret it. I would highly recommend this company and it's customer support. A top score of 10/10 for product and company.

this is a bloody good bargain! and the reception is great, a friend of mine demo'd it with his tom tom mobile 5 before i orderd mine and it works very well! signal strength is great, although i havnt tried it in a high rise city area or mountain region yet, im sure it will cope! another great point is the size, its tiny! its not bright and shiny but it wont take up half of your dashboard and the little rubber feet stop it sliding around a lot. another plus is it will also take the most recent version of the nokia rechargable battery, handy if you have a spare like me!in summary what good is it? and the answer is VERY it does exactly what it says on the tin and that suits me fine!

Great product, great delivery
Ordered this on Friday lunchtime, delivered 9.00am Saturday, great service. Paired with my Dell Axim X50v without problem but I did have a little trouble getting the unit to pick up a gps signal. I thought at first it might be my location but after having discounted that possibility I followed the instructions to configure it to work with Tom Tom Navigator 5, provided on this website, and was up and running in about ten minutes. Great performance from this well built and tiny device and I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay any more. Highly recommend both the product and the supplier.

Just... awesome!
Amazing value! Working spot on with my SPV M600, and is even smaller than you expect when opening the box!
Windows Mobile 5 users will need to update TomTom to 5.2, as TT5.0 isn't compatible with WM5 and won't let you pair properly. Once I'd done this, it paired on COM6 (TT5.0 didn't let you pair on the right COM) in a few seconds and found satellites within around 30 seconds.
Just brilliant value - don't have doubts because of the price, or lack of brand name - this is just as good as a genuine TomTom or Holox receiver! Buy one now!

Good but could be better
If I stay in the same position and don't move, then it locks on to the sats in less than a minute. If I'm driving and I get stuck in traffic, I can't just turn it on and let it find me an alternative route because it takes over 10 mins to lock on to the sats if you're moving. My other GPS (Pretec Mini) could handle this scenario no problem - but that broke:-(
If anyone knows differently and there's locks on in less than 10 mins, then please write back because mine might be faulty. When it has got a signal tho, it's excellent.

Great Product
Took a while to locate signal but once found turned out to be an excellent product. I use it with my N70 & have had only one lost signal in over 400 miles of use. A great device and well worth investing in. Always remember to use Sat Nav as a guide.

what a gadget to have
This is the best gps receiver I have bought from mobilefun. I had many doubts if I'm going to buy this gadget but in the end, I decided to go for it since it is the only cheapest on the net. Bought this item via phone and received the item the next day just with standard first class delivery which I was delighted about the service. Gps works very well and pair with my phone so fast. My tomtom mobile 5 picks the gps device quickly so connecting is so easy as a-b-c. To those people planning to buy satnav, this is the best alternate than buying standalone satnavs that cost about £150 more. Believe me you won't be sorry buying this one. More power mobilefun. Keep up the good work. Thank you

Excellent product
I bought this to use with my O2 exec PDA, upon which I have Memory Map 5 OS Maps. I use it for off-road driving and green laning.
Its is as good as it gets without having a laptop on the passenger seat. The PDA scrolls real time OS 1:25000 maps in front of you, ensuring you stay on the right track.
Aquisition is good, and retention of satelites is good even when under trees. Works fine through the heated screen of my Discovery 3

Excellent BT GPS Receiver, but...
This is a great little GPS receiver, works well with MS Autoroute and TomTom Navigator 5 on my Dell laptop and Dell Axim PDA. One downside, there is no USB driver, and so my laptop goes a little nuts when you plug it in to recharge - must remember to charge from the mains not my laptop! Get one now. I also want to say that Mobilefun have to be the best company on the internet -- brilliant products, low prices, superb customer service - you're my heroes!

Fixed to position in around 10 seconds from cold. Used tomtom BT gps in past but battery doesent last long only 3 hours and was no good on my trip from south france to home in uk as only had mains charger. May buy second one for wife. Dont pay for expensive receivers when this one is on the market for a great price.

Brilliant product connects very fast to my smart phone, picks up signal fast aswell. Delivery was excellent ordered 1pm recieved the next day 10am. I had the Cellink BTG-7000, that was a pathetic product, it take between 5-20mins to pick up a signal, more expensive, looked on the manufacturer website and it seems to be a design fault, anyway this new device is brilliant, cheap, and reliable, don't make the same mistake as i did to think that the more expensive models are better.

Works great with P910i
Very fast delivery and a great little gadget! The charge slot is a mini UBS one (as for a digital camera), not the round Nokia. It slips unnoticeably into my handbag and also works in the car glove compartment. I'm new to GPS, so I was a bit disconcerted to find that it can take a few minutes to fix location and that it didn't work inside a couple of buildings by the window nor on a train (would have been useful when waking up in an anonymous bit of countryside if your sleeper is already 30 mins late), but this is probably a limitation of GPS not the receiver. You get an ultra accurate clock from the satellites' atomic clocks thrown in for free too. The best software options for Symbian UIQ on the P910i appear to be nhGPS (cheap geek's DIY maps option - the free 2 weeks trial can be used to test the receiver) and Navicore (mainstream).

This was an absolute bargin. I have found it work purfectly, if a little slow some times, but nothing major. I borrowed a friends TomTom GPS device and found this to be almost no different, but ALOT cheaper. I would deffinitly recomend this to anyone wanting to get a starter GPS navigation system set up.

Excellent performer, brilliant price
I am a regular GPS user and normally use a Garmin GPSMap60CS. For wireless use I bought this little bluetooth unit. The difference in 'time to lock' is VERY noticeable, with the bluetooth unit achieving a lock on multiple GPS satellites MUCH faster than the Garmin. The bluetooth unit also achieves a lock under circumstances where the Garmin struggles and often fails e.g. in city streets. This bluetooth unit is a steal. Highly recommended. Service and delivery from Mobilefun was also commendable.

Avoid
I have just returned my second of these and requested a refund. Takes an age to locate the signal then drops it after 20 seconds or so. Borrowed a friend's BT77 and that works a treat. Going to get one of those instead. I have now wasted over a fiver in return postage.

Had this liitle item (matchbox size) for about a week now. Using it with TomTom on my DELL X50v. It works absolutely great, simple to use, paired with my PDA in just a few seconds. I can even get a GPS signal in the house as long as its near a window, when I'm in the car I just keep it in my pocket or in the glove compartment and it works great.
