Perfect for the job

I had just taken delivery of a new car which was Bluetooth prepared so I needed an in-car charger quickly for my Sony Ericson mobile phone. Delivery was made next day and the fit was perfect. My thanks to MobileFun.

Sony Ericsson CLA-60 Car Charger

Easy to use - does the trick! Great for when I went camping, with no access to electricity, and needed the phone for work purposes. Just plugged straight in to the car on our daily trips; phone charged-up in no-time!

loose connections

Worked very well initially charging the phone and having a headset connected to it too at the same time. But after just 2 months, the connector for the head set on the charger cable starts to fail. When I open it up to try to repair it, turns out the that connector for the headset is actually a "slide-in pcb to headset adaptor" that is not even soldered to the PCB board, hence it will be very prone to dust and humidity and movements, resulting in a poor connection time to time. So if all you want to do is to charge your phone, that is fine. But if you intend to use it with a headset as well, look elsewhere.

Excellent product

I am very pleased with this item, there is a small light incorporated in the design and you can also charge up to two pieces of equipment at once.

Great

This is a well built charger that sits nicely in my cars 4 x 12v power splitter. I've found in the past that some chargers are simply too bulky to allow 4 side by side within my splitter. The fast port connector fits securely into my Sony Ericsson cradle and also features useful pins on the bottom to allow further connectivity to wired hands free kits.

Sony Ericsson Car Charger

This is not a review of the product, more a comment on Mobilefun.co.uk. I placed my order on Sunday, and received the goods on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the charger supplied was unservicable, so I returned it on Wednesday. On Friday morning, I had a working replacement charger delivered, with no fuss or bother. This is outstanding service, and I would not hesitate to recommend Mobilefun to anyone.
