Simple solution
HAVING just changed my car and discovering it already had a built in Bluetooth connection I was looking for something which would hold my mobile when it was in Sat Nav mode without having a windscreen mounted cradle.
I saw the advert for the I-Stick Dashboard Non-Slip Mat - thought "Oh yeah, bet that works."
Then thought at the price - something like a fiver plus p&p it was worth trying.
And believe me it works. So far it's not been used for Sat Nav duties but merely to place my phone on.
And silly as it seems the phone stays put.
I won't say it will not come unstuck, by which I mean the phone will part company with the mat. But you have to indulge in some pretty determined cornering to make it abandon ship.
Silly little gadget but it's got to be worth the cash.

Does all it's says it does.
This is ideal for a car with built in Bluetooth where you don't have to see your phone. It keeps the phone perfectly in place in all conditions I have come across. I have even trimmed it so it fits the contours of a suitable place in my Jaguar Xf.

Maybe good for some
This mat stops items sliding along a surface. Maybe it's because I have a dashboard that's a touch shapely. I was hoping for a bit more stick from this mat but it offers little more adhesion than the cheaper netted rubber mat I'd been using. If there's any usage advice to have I'd like to hear.

Excellent
Not a lot to say really as it just works perfectly. Only advice I can give is buy more than one as my wife "borrowed" mine and I have had to order another one.

Disappointing - works best with heavy objects
I found the mat to be a huge disappointment. It doesn't seem to have a good grip on the dashboard unless the device set on top is fairly heavy.
I set a Juicebar Pocket Solar Charger on top, and it slipped around all over the place. First the device would fall off while the car went around a corner, and then the mat would start to slide since there was nothing on top to hold it down. And setting an iPod nano on top is a non-starter.
It's better than blutac for something like a heavy mobile phone, but not ideal for smaller devices.

non slip mats
wonderful item, I bought one and gave it away and am now buying a few for family members. But why are they so small? I know mobiles are small but they just about fit on it..

Its not rubbish
Received one the next day, so top marks for delivery. I'm not sure what the other people were expecting, I got what I expected. It sticks kind of like "magnet" to your dashboard. Put my phones and keys on and drove all day without anything falling. It really works quite well. Worth £5? Not sure, works better then any holdy I've used, but I still feel a little "ripped off". But I'd still buy another one. Not sure what the other persons problem is.

Bit harsh
If I'm honest its just a large peice of material, its not rubber, but kind of feels like it. Its not sticky at all, but some how manges to "stick"/grip to the dashboard.
In its favour it just what it supposed to do pretty well. I left my phone on there, and drove around at night with some pretty sharp turns in my Subaru. It held my phone fine without slipping at all.
Not sure why the other person doesn't like it, for a fiver you can't go wrong really and its better then those cheap tatty car holders.

This product is a joke dont waste your money
I opened my"I-Stick Dashboard Non-Slip Mat to find a piece of material that had the following defects.
1. It was not the size claimed at best 180 X 120 at its widest point
2. it was not of a uniform shape it had just been hacked with a pair of scissors
3. the picture shows nice rounded corners, forget it, it has none just rough ragged edges.
I am sending it back it is expensive rubbish
