The rubber inner sleeve absorbed 3ft impacts with no prob and the hard shell prevents wear to the sleeve.

Not inexpensive. But pleased with the product (having previously purchased a cheap case). Particularly like the ease of button press both sides. Haven't dropped the phone, YET!

This seems to be a very good condition product but I have one problem. The fit seems a little too tight and it pushes on the volume button, rendering it unusable.

If anyone has a fix, I'd love to hear it.

What the title says. Granted there are "stronger" cases out there, but seriously, if you want a tough as nails case that is still "mobile" ie; will not require its own backpack; then this is it. For the price this is quality that can't be matched. The silicone first layer is a fantastic soft material that will absorb the shock of a drop by distributing the force. The second layer which is the hard outer shell requires a degree to get on....ok it's not that difficult but it's not easy. This is good. The tight fit holds the silicone in place and will protect in a drop. The front edge is slightly raised so your screen will be protected. The silicone raised trident logo on the back of the cover stops it moving and sliding. It does, however , mean that it rocks slightly when it's on a table. Personally I did not find it annoying but others may. All in all this is an awesome value for money case, and aside from a bout of Hulk rage, your phone is safe!!! Also, it does not interfere with my zagg screen protector. WIN.
