Samsung Galaxy S3
Great dock!
Although meant for the Galaxy S2, my S3 fits perfectly in this dock and looks very neat with or without a case on the phone. I've not used it with a USB cable yet but it's just the job for charging the phone. I have downloaded an alarm clock app so I can now sit my phone in the dock to charge overnight and also use it as my bedside alarm. The dock has rubber feet and is weighty enough to use the phone whilst in the cradle. Overall it's just what i needed so I'm very happy with my purchase.

Galaxy S3
Entirely unsuitable for the S3
Although advertised as being suitable for the S3 "with or without case" this is just not true. It was actually made for the S2 not the S3, and is labelled as such. My first reaction was to send it back, but I decided to modify it to suit. To make it fit the extra width of the S3 I had to cut out the ends of the slot with a chisel. To make it fit the depth of the S3 with its official flip-top case folded back, I had to cut out a lot of plastic from the back of the slot, exposing a large hole into the inside. The S3 now fits well, but the Desk Dock doesn't look very smart.
