Novero Rockaway Stereo Bluetooth Headset - Black/Silver

I bought these to replace a Sony HBH-IS800, which died in one earpiece after a year or so (like the one before it). Even so, the (discontinued) Sonys are a hard act to follow, and I'm afraid these Noveros seem like a step backwards. The sound is tinny and harsh (yes, I tried all the earpieces), and I had to have my phone and the headset on full volume to hear the podcast I was listening to. Also, they don't have FM radio, as claimed by the MobileFun web page (or have they removed that claim now?) Having said that, they pair easily, work well, have good range and seem very sturdy. They also have more comprehensive controls than the Sony, but, frankly, it's very fiddly, and is it really an imposition to have to take the phone out now and then to select a track or adjust the volume? In summary, if you're prepared to create a special EQ setting on your phone and maybe boost the volume of your music or podcasts with something like MacMP3Gain, you'll end up with a useful headset. Not as good as the Sonys, though, but maybe this is the best you're going to do, until Sony come up with a replacement for the HBH-IS800.

I was very excited for these bluetooth earphones. I looked for them everywhere online, but they were all sold out! I finally found them and instantly bought them. When they arrived, I immediately charged the battery so that I could begin using them as soon as possible. Now that I am using them I feel very bummed out. These earphones look really cool and the bluetooth connection works well. Unfortunately, sound quality is not that great... After a year of using my original iPhone earphones, I switched to these very old and inexpensive JVC earphones I had stored away. They must have cost less than 20 U.S. dollars. Sound quality is great in the JVC earphones, much better than the iPhone earphones. Now that I'm using the Noveros, I feel like I've gone back to using my original iPhone earphones because sound quality just isn't as good. I've also tried all the earpieces that come with these earphones (small, medium, large, extra large), and none of them fit me perfectly. Large is a little too small and extra large is too big. They fall off easily. I had to take off the earpieces from my old JVC earphones and put them on the Noveros. Now they fit me better, but even then they still don't feel secure in my ear and sooner than later they end up falling off. I don't think it's me because earphones have never fallen off my ears this way. I'm trying to deal with the fact that I'm not impressed by these earphones, but I don't think having bluetooth capability is worth sacrificing sound quality. For the money I spent on the Novero bluetooth eaphones, I expected my music to sound much better than it does. I don't recommend these earphones. I really wish I could, though, because they would definitely be a really cool accessory to be carrying around.

I came across these earphones whilst searching for a good quality Bluetooth set.. I hadn't realized anything like these were available. Fit in ear very well and stay there - they come with various adapters so they should fit everyone comfortably.. Easy to pair and use and the quality in both music and calls is fantastic.. I had also looked at a plaintrontics set and a Sony set but the nevaros worked out cheaper and outperformed both.. The only problem I have is that they will not charge with a USB adaptor plug so you need to charge thru your pc or console.. Not that big a deal but if I'm in the car it would be handy to have a way to keep them topped up.. Not that this is a big issue cus the battery easily lasts all day.. They go into sleep mode if your not using them but come back on seamlessly when needed.. All in all very very satisfied :)
