This is a solid enough case, but it was made for the first generation Sensation and the XE has bits on the back of the case that need showing off (the beats logo etc) and they are obscured. Also, to pay £25 for a piece of shaped plastic is outrageous. What is needed for the XE is a nice trendy styled bumper style case. Come on guys, HTC have produced a beautiful handset - lets produce a beautiful case for it at decent value!

Protects the phone nicely, only problem is the Mic cover flap does not sit flush to the rest of the case because it relies on a little nipple to sit in the hole, not to well as it happens , apart from that its a solid case which fits snug.

Despite the cost of this case, it simply offers the best protection possible for the phone. If you are looking for a case to ensure that your new phone is protected completely against any nasty bumps or scrapes, then this is the case to choose.

The skin fully wraps around over the edges and over switches which are still operational through it. Doesn't give any bulkyness and I like the flexible covers over the usb and the head phone jack. The negatives, the top of the moulding is very slightly a loose fit and the screen protector that comes with it only covers the lit up part of screen, I opted to buy a separate full screen cover that did the job. Very good otherwise.

I've previously used an Otterbox on my HTC Desire HD. I was very impressed with it, so it was with high expectations that I purchased the HTC Sensation version. The case comes in three parts, a hard outer polycarbonate layer, and inner soft rubber layer and a screen protector for the front. The polycarbonate and rubber layers are typical Otterbox quality. They fit beautifully around the buttons, camera, and other parts of the phone. There are rubber covers for the headphone jack and power connector. All the buttons are easily usable through the rubber layer. The headphone jack cover, however, doesn’t want to stay in the port and tends to come out. Not a huge problem, but a minor annoyance. Unlike my Desire HD Otterbox case, the polycarbonate layer here does not reach around over the top and bottoms of the rubber layer. I found this actually worked better, because the grippier rubber helps to hang onto the phone. And then there’s the screen protector. This is almost exactly the size of the display on the HTC Sensation, which means that it does not cover the top of the phone (where the HTC logo is) or the bottom where the buttons are. This leaves plenty of area unprotected. Also, because the screen on the HTC Sensation curves slightly at the edges, I had a great deal of difficulty applying the screen protector without it peeling up on the curved edges. This means that I get a small air bubble down the edge of the protector. It doesn’t pose a problem, but is again a minor annoyance. All in all, I have to say I was slightly disappointed in this case. Following my experience with the HTC Desire HD Otterbox case, I was expecting perfection, but I didn’t get it. This is a great case, but is marred by some annoying details.

The Otterbox Commuter comes in three parts: An inner, soft rubber wrap, designed to cushion impacts, and an outher, back and side protecting rigid plastic casing. There is also a screen protecting film, but that's not really much help, as it barely covers the touch screen, not the entire front glasswork. Excepting the screen protecting film, the casing fits well, and stays there. There are socket covers built into the inner casing, which appear to do the job, and the outer casing has cout-outs to allow access to the plugs and three buttons (on/off, and voume up/down). The protecting film for the screen, however, lets Otterbox down. they really shold have supplied full-glass cover for it; I had to get a seperate screen protector for the phone in order to get complete scratch protection for the glasswork. Never the less, I'm reasonably satisfied. 4/5, due to the cut-rate screen protector, or it would have been full marks.

Been using my commuter for two weeks now and got to I am more than happy with it,the caes comes in two parts a soft silicon skin that goes on first and wraps round the whole phone,then a hard polycarban shell thats fits neatly over the silicon skin so you have double protection,there is also rubber flaps that cover ports to stop dust build up,mobile fun brilliant as always.......easily 5 *

Purchased this case on Thursday and it arrived today (Saturday) great service from mobilefun again, The case is well constructed and protects the phone well, must be the best case I have ever bought, the only downside is the screen protector that comes included in the pack doesn't cover the whole front, but if you buy an official HTC protector it will cover the whole screen. Good service and good product, will buy from mobilefun again

Bought this case not thinkinh wether I made the right choice. Glad I did. Protection wise you cant look anywere else this is the one! the bonus part is the build quality is great, feels nice in your hand.
