PowerSkin Extended Battery Case for HTC Desire HD

HTC Desire HD is great but poor battery life then found PowerSkin! PS is a tough skin case with a built-in 1500 mAh battery that plugs into existing phone connector. When charging the phone battery charges first. PS have LED indicators at the back plus a button to check status & to switch it on/off . I switch it off after a full charge & switch it on when phone battery is low - more power for longer. Otherwise, the case will continue charging the phone. Now I'm charging batteries every 2 days instead of every day - twice the power! The silicon case gives extra protection to the phone - it fits perfectly & it is raised a little bit to protect the screen. All controls can be easily accessed ; a new connector allows charging with skin on. It can be used permanently but you end up with a bulkier (2 cm) and heavier (extra 86 grams) phone . Is it worth ending up with a bulkier phone for the sake of extra battery power? I'd say Yes! It may take a while to get used to carrying the bulkier end product but PS is an excellent product!

I imported one of these from the states a couple of weeks ago, after charging the case with the phone attached inside for 12 hrs I took them to work , after 10hrs of the case topping up the charge the powerskin gave up leaving me with a full battery on my phone that I know I can get at least another 8 hrs use from, I am a heavy user of my mobile and this is god sent item for this renound hand set. Its bulky yes bulky but a small price to pay for the piece of mind of at least 13. 16hrs of power. Four stars from me.
