Piel Frama iMagnum For HTC Sensation / Sensation XE - Black

I've already had 3 or 4 covers for my HTC Sensation XE and I wasn't happy with them so I decided to spend proper money on this one and I'm still not 100% happy but I decided to stay with it. I don't think it's worth the money. Cover is really nice and well built but it's way too expensive. Previously I had HTC HD2 which had best cover ever and I was looking forward to something similar but unfortunately there was only a disappointment.

This is the second Piel Frama case I have purchase with the earlier one being for the HTC Desire. Once again the overall quality of the case is very high which just about justifies its cost. The case itself is very slim and does not add much bulk to the Sensation. There is however one area that I’m not entirely happy with. Opening and closing the case can be annoyingly difficult and is not possible using one hand. Given the option again I would most like purchase the version with the magnetic clip rather than the compression clip provided with this version. On a more positive note purchasing this case from MobileFun gives a quicker delivery than ordering direct form the manufacturer and I think was also slightly cheaper.

I bought this for my Sensation after being very happy with previous purchases for my iPhones 3 & 4. The Sensation version does not have the quality look and feel of the iPhone cases at all and instead of the lovely magnetic clasp there is a rather poor clip to keep it closed. Also, and very annoyingly, the case, when closed, keeps the power button of the Sensation pressed in. I will stick with the "temporary" case I bought from Amazon for less than £5 and it is much more friendly and amazingly looks and feels much more expensive than the £50+ Piel Frama Very disappointing after the excellent iPhone cases.

As usual from Piel Frama,a top quality item beautifully finished. My only query is the fact that the phone switches on when the case is closed.I would have expected a small cut-out in the top of the case to accommodate the power switch. This apart, I'm completely satisfied as I have been with all the previous Piel Frama cases I've purchased.
