A very smart phone
I've had my Xperia Mini Pro a week now, and have been very pleased with it. It replaced a Nokia 5800 that I'd been using for about 2 years.
Transferring my data and setting up the applications I wanted to carry across has been a breeze. It works very well as a phone, with good reception and reliable calls. It has connected much more reliably to my car's Bluetooth system than the Nokia did.
I still greatly miss having a stylus as an option for input and, particularly, for selecting blocks of texts or buttons in Apps, but the slideout keyboard would be fantastic but for one really appalling design fault - the top row of keys doubles as the 0-9 keys, which are shown in dark blue and accessed by first pressing a blue mode key. This would work fine, except that the blue used on the keys is invisible in all but perfect light. I often have to tilt the keyboard or move to better light to enter numbers reliably. This might not be a problem on the silver or coloured models, but mine is black and the drak blue legends on black keys really don't work.
The battery life is just ok if every opportunity to top up (e.g in the car) is taken, and Bluetooth, WiFi or data functions are switched off when not needed.
The screen is lovely - clear and bright, and the sound adequate (though not a patch on the stereo Nokia 5800).
Stability has been good so far, but I wish you could alter the very short interval before the security lock kicks in. Looking at the chat groups, this seems to be a widelyheld gripe with the Android system.
My only other serious (for me) gripe is that the otherwise excellent search feature won't search the calendar. Now I use this heavily as a diary system, and being unable to search for things is very serious. Again, the groups suggest this has been a complaint for so long it's crime Google haven't fixed it. I'm desperately searching for an App that solves the problem.
All in all, I'm very happy with this phone, I just wish MobileFun offered a colour choice so I could have had the silver one, with legible numerals on the keys.

Xperia Mini Pro
I bought this phone in April 2011 and am so pleased with it! All my phones have been Sony Ericsson for the last 10 years ( Ericsson before ) and have never let me down, never missed a beat and been a pleasure to own and use. There are many smartphones available but the Xperia is the best by miles, in my opinion.

Brilliant
I purchased this little cracker as soon as it became available, and I am not disappointed. This it a brilliant little mobile, full of gadgetry which I am still fiddling with. I vowed never to buy another sony ericcson after the disastrous k850, but here I am, I love it. Links to bluetooth very quickly, and finds wifi quick too. I think my next phone will be the new se ray, we will see.

All the features, half the size
I've grown tired of massive smartphones. Sure, they are useful, and yes - a massive screen looks lovely when looking at pictures or videos. But. Can you get it in your pocket without looking. Well. Strained? no! it looks like you've trapped a tardis in your pocket. The xperia mini pro is the answer. A full-featured android smartphone, slide out keyboard, gps, wi-fi, 3. 5g data, micro-sd card storage, 3. 5mm audio out and it fits in your pocket. Job done!.
