great product
Fantastic. After looking for a long time for a radio alarm clock compatible with the ipid touch 4g I finally found this, the price and the fact it has dab radio is a bonus. Brilliant product, would definitely recommend.

Small but perfectly formed...
The story is simple. I needed a device to charge my Ipod nano and a radio with alarm. Why did I go for Grundig? well the company have been around for a long time and the quality of their products have always been excellent something about Vorsprung durch......anyway the product does what it says on the tin, it's brilliant and easy to use. My only quibble are the buttons which are recessed and it's easy to press the wrong one sometimes. Other than that buy it it's great

This item fits the bill very well
I am very satisfied with the overall sound, features and ease of use. The wire aerial requires careful positioning however. On one side of my bed reception was intermittent, but on the other side - no problem. Good value for the outlay, no major complaints, all in all, very happy!.

great service and product
I got this for my birthday and as far I I am concerend it is the best present yet, great sound and clear reception and easy to operate, big enough buttons and it looks great and takes up less space that my old one, I would recomend it, as for the iphone charger I cant coment as I dont have my iphone yet so I will have to wait and see,.

Clearier Reception?
After many faithful years with my sony radio alarm, decided to upgrade to a dab radio alarm, to listen to crystal clear sports broadcasts. The unit at first glance is a nice piece for the bedroom. However! crystal clear r5l and talksport are it does not make up for the poor reception to radio merseyside? woken up for years to merseyside, now have to listen to it on fm (why?) tried aerial in all directions it just wont work,but my portable radio does though! the switches on the top need something, very hard to "feel" which switch is which first thing in the morning. But hey it charges my iphone and at least I can hear it ring in the night, (work) all in all a nice unit, but could be better.

Can't beat it for the money!
It's a shame that the top buttons are not backlit - but this is only a minor thing. At this price it's just great. No complaints very happy with purchase.

At long last something I needed!
I am very pleased with my purchase, does and displays all that I wanted. A very good bargain!
have one frustration though - despite resetting and changing manually, the clock display varies all the time between one minute and two minutes slow. My other dab radios are spot on all the time!.

Why no earphone connection>
I purchased 2 of these. ,one for me and one for my wife. I use an I phone and she use`s an I pod. We are very pleased with them but the only downside is that as my wife use`s her`s mainly for listening to audio books at night ( she suffers from insomnia ) there is no way of plugging in any earphone`s as the I pod connection is on the base and also dab radio listening poses`s the same problem.

Disappointing
Nice looking little radio. However - I personally found it awkward to use - I needed something very simple to use in the night - groping in the dark. But the buttons are flat and there are 12 of them - so it was awkward choosing the right one in the semi slumber state. As it is a nice looking piece of equipment I thought I would use it in the kitchen - but I could only get a signal in my 3rd floor bedroom. So no use there!!! the other problem with sleepy fumbling is that the choice buttons have a mini menu - so to change to a different preset - it was. Choice button, then up and down arrows, then select button - too much to cope with by feel! I tried to get an external aerial - but it needed a screw in connection - this has a single cable coming from a small hole -. I have given it to my son in law and hope he can make use of it!.

DAB at a great price
Good looking, works well, lots of functions. Could be a little more straight forward to set up. Overall good bit of kit.
