The protective cover fits the unit perfectly, dimensionaly it's spot on. It is advertised as leather however it is clearly not which is probably better as leather would be more delicate and prone to damage. It is tough and scratch resistant, perfect for the job.

After searching around countless products i kept coming back to this one. watched a review video on the net and was immediately hooked. its not leather but it fits the tab like a glove. no give or manufacturer variance... it fits and tightly. its stylish and slim, and doesn't add any unnecessary bulk. If u want a cover that's all raw above then go for this purpose made not aftermarket Samsung cover. the Seville is in the detail... the cutouts are quality and fit flush to the tab. Now... to buy a leather sleeve to put everything in...

As the case is an official Samsung product, it looks good and fits the tab just right but it's made out of plastic material and not leather. For what it is, it's way too expensive but I guess it's the price you pay if it's the case you want and you're a 'label junkie' like I am. It's not bulky or heavy, provides good protection and you can access the buttons and ports while the Tab 10.1 is in the case. However, you have to take the Tab out of the case and turn it round from the 'viewing stand' position to the 'typing on lap' position. It's easy enough to do but 'flawed' in that sense. As I will mainly be using the Tab on my lap or in my hands, it won't be a problem and I can't see another way around this. I'm dropping two stars; one for the hefty price tag for no leather and one for the 'turning round' issue.

Excellent cover! I was concerned it would make the tab bulky, but it doesn't and the tab maintains it's sleek coolness.

Received the cover on time and was as good as i expected.

The case is well made, accurately fits the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and offers a good degree of protection whilst allowing access to connectors. Unit cannot be charged when case is closed (irritation) and when standing upright, really only suitable to watch video etc. and not use normally.
