Capdase Dock Connector Card Reader for iPad 2 / iPad - 3 Slots

Does exactly what it says. I must admit, I was surprised when I saw it's size! It is a rather large beast - being around the same width as an iPhone. I bought this for my new iPad 3 (2012) in order to grab images taken from my DSLR's SC Card so I can import them into the new iPhoto app. The card worked flawlessly so it's a keeper :)

Excellent gadget was able to transfer all of my photos from my compact flash cards to my iPad in 10 minutes, and that was 4cards. I have tried other card readers without success. Perfect gadget thanks.

The dock is for transferring SD and CF cards. This is ideal for my needs. Very happy with the unit, it works well and appears to be very well made.

Now what makes ths card reader different is it does more than just SD cards. It does compact flash. So you can upload pictures from your highend DSLR to your iPad. Help fully if your just done a friends wedding to show members of the family not there. It also does micro SD cards. Which means if your not rocking an phone. You CAN upload your camrea pictures. So long as its got a micro SD card installed. The only downside is its made from cheap light pastic. So you have to look after it. But for the price. (Much less than apples) its ok. And very useful. If you like photography. And have a few different cameras. Get this now.

I had put off ordering a camera connection kit for my iPad1 as unsure whether this item would work as there are many conflicting stories out there. Pleased to report this item worked straight off, I have tried out all three card slots and photos copied across to the iPad with no problems at all. I haven't tried copying a video yet though.
