Excellent
This dock is good in as much as it supports the phone at a good angle and allows for charging. The finish is very high quality. The only thing that I would have liked was for it to sync with the computer. As a stand to charge and veiw the phone for videos, excellent.

quality kit
wanted a charging dock for my s2 and got fed up of reading rubbish reviews of cheap docks on the web until i found this little beauty! not only charges but acts as a passive speaker and has sound jack for external speakers if so desired.when placed on dock the s2 engages a dock screen with a smart display of the time,weather and alarm clock and therfore makes an ideal bedside companion.The materials used and build quality are superb and it looks so good....so in conclusion not the cheapest but so glad i chose this as the s2 itself is a quality bit of kit and deserves to be coupled up with this dock.

Desktop Dock
The dock itself is very good and has great sound quality. Unfortunately when buying the item my webpage froze so i refreshed it only to find i had ordered two. Luckily due to the websites quick email to confirm my order i could cancel one. Although the money was taken from my account after sending them an email they got back to me within a couple hours and refunded me.

Exactly as advertised, nice angles for viewing portrait and landscape, and so so easy for the phont to locate onto the plug for charging you can do it with your eyes shut, my sister and brother in law are getting one each too.

This samsung item is the best you will never use a normal charger again...the videos and all the info you find on this product do not do it justice....you will never buy a better item for your phone so simple to use and does not look out of place any where in the home ....buy one it will be the best thing you do this year ...

Excellent Product
Works exactly as described and an ideal companion for the S2. Although not too bulky, I've yet to find a flip case that will take the phone with the battery pack attached.

Perfect bedside dock
This dock is solidly made and has a good weight to it so is nice and stable. It can be used in portrait or landscape position so is good for watching iplayer. There is also a handy audio output to plug to speakers so i use this to play web radio through my pure radio.
The s2 Goes into dock mode when it is dropped in to the dock but i found the minimum screen brightness too much so downloaded Screen filter which is infinitely variable and lets you set a very low brightness level. The only down side is the blue led that illuminates the neighborhood.
If you want a solid dock that's well made, its a great piece of kit.

Well Worth the extra cash
Bought this for the office so i could happily listen to my music whilst working away, im very impressed, absolutely beautiful design which looks good next to my nice big screen. Im that happy that i will be buying a second one for my bedroom.
Definate recommend, even worth buying now then going out and buying yourself a Galaxsy SII to put in it :)

Samsung Desktop Dock for Galaxy S2.
I was looking for a dock that would allow me to recharge the phone whilst allowing me access to the functions of the mobile.
The dock allows the mobile to display the time and can be placed in a portrait or landscape position.
It has an in-built speaker which is OK if you want to listen to music, but if you want to play any games, holding the dock can make your hand ache after a while as it feels too bulky to hold for any length of time.
You need to be careful when you remove the phone from the dock, as you need to slide the mobile from it carefully - and not pull it forward when you disconnect, which is easy to do.
The dock is a good product but you cannot use it to sync any data when connected to a pc via a USB cable.

Stand is so Easy to Use
The phone easily slots into the desk stand. The best bit is that it can change from portrait(upright) to landscape(lying down) and works perfectly in either mode. Then there is the audio output that connects to your desktop sound system...just amazing

Beautiful
Not a must have but if you're interested in such an item you know what to expect. I like to have it on my desktop, also because it enables a clock function of galaxy s2. Soundspeakers are not so great but there is an extra plug to connect the phone to an external amplifier. A very nice product.

Good but not great
It is quite nice product, but could be improved, if it allowed synchronisation while phone is docked (although with kies air I suppose this is not entirely a deal breaker). One annoying thing is that it doesn't automatically realise that an external speaker cable has been plugged in. You have to tell it. Surely it should realise this automatically and reroute output to external speakers. It also automatically fires up a special dock application but it is quite difficult to get out of this and back to the main home screen. The blue charging light is quite irritating if you use it as a bedside clock. There should be a facility to prevent one from pulling the phone forwards out of the dock, which is possible and would damage the connector. The "speaker" is hardly any better than the phone's own. I sound highly critical but I quite like it in general. If thee niggles could be addressed, it would be good. Oh and it's too expensive, but that's fairly typical of samsung.

Top Quality product
Bought this for my desk at work and again its excellent quality. Needs a micro usb to charge the phone only wish i'd realised and i'd have bought a second charger for the office as its useless without it. Keeps it charged and an audio socket at the back is useful for more discrete calls etc.

A quality product
This dock is made from high quality plastics and it's a perfect weight which makes it feel like a premium product. If you have a Samsung Galaxy S2, this is the dock that will compliment it perfectly.
Only minor gripe is the blue charging LED but this is easily covered up with a little imagination.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Desktop Dock
I ordered this dock only 48hrs ago and received it yesterday together with several other items I ordered from Mobile Fun. As usual a very quick and reliable service from them. The dock itself is excellent and performs all the functions described. Its a great looking peice of kit which would be usefull for the office or home. I actually keep mine on the bedside table which allows me to both use the alarm facility and also listen to music from and charge my phone at the same time. A great accessory for the Samsung S2 and well worth considering.

Disappointed
Very disappointed that Samsung chose to use the rear micro USB port for charging only and not for data and MHL. Very poor decision as can't dock with your PC and sync music/contacts etc or use with the MHL adaptor to hook up to TV. A great idea would have been to include a HDMI port in the back of the dock to make use of the multimedia capabilities of this mighty phone. For a pricey piece of kit, this is a FAIL.

What I thought I wanted!
A very nice accessory for my new SII.
Although you can't stop the screen turning itself on when the phone is fully charged - a bit annoying when the dock is beside my bed!
That said, its a well made item and worth the money.

Great Product
Im really glad i brought this item and not a cheep ebay item. Looks and feels good quality. Phone fits perfect. I like all the dock options you get when you plonk the phone in. It slide in with ease and does not catch or feel like you have to force it in. I highly recommend spending the few extra pennies and get the genuine dock.

Samsung desk top
The Samsung desk top is better than I expected. It's stylish and looks expensive. A lot of thought has gone into this item I can not fault it, however the only problem is if you a case mate back cover on it wont fit in the holder. But still worth every pound. SPOT ON.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Dock
I have had excellent service from MobileFun with this product, As I was going on holiday and it hadn't arrived, they arrange to deliver two days after I returned AND twod days later it arrived!!!!!
The Dock is well made and sturdy. it took about 30 seconds to set it up and works very well.

Almost perfect!
There were cheaper docks available but I thought it worth paying a bit extra for having the landscape option (for video/photos). Would have given it 5 stars but a bit disappointed that it didn't come with a mains lead.

Excellent dock
An excellent dock, with attractive modern styling, and suitable for both landscape and portrait orientation. Two ports are provided. A micro-usb port for the charger (doesn't work for a data connection to pc, though) and a microphone jack for external speakers (not recommended for earphones). There is a speaker grill as well but no active speakers. It channels the phone's speaker sound acoustically. In addition there are volume up / volume down buttons, useful in landscape mode when the phone volume buttons are facing the table and are therefore inaccessible. Docking automatically runs your dock application. The default application is clock with icons to access music, photo gallery, ebook reader, and so on. Two small complaints: first, there is no frame-edge holding or guiding the front of the phone, so I can see someone might damage the connector by pulling the phone towards them instead of up. Second, the charging light is a bright blue led, very annoying at night, so you might want to cover it with a small piece of black tape.

Excellent quality
Very nice bit of kit. Its well made and looks great. My only gripe is that in the description it say charges and sync's the phone. But in the manual it says "Data synchronization is unavailable when you connect to your PC via a USB cable. Apart from that I am very pleased with the dock. Would recommend anyone with a SGS2 to get one.
