Nexxus Drive Hybrid Bluetooth Headset And Car Kit

I brought this product for my Son, who used his phone whislt driving his van, so as to stop me moaning at him at him getting pionts hes delighted with the Nexxus, and thanks mobilefun for a fast great service.

Being both a hand-free headset device and a car phone this is a double purchase but cab have a single assessment! I have given it a fair trial and find it very useful. Its one drawback is that it fused the cigarette lighter in my Ford Ka while doing no harm that the cigar lighter in my Volvo! I shall have to find a charger for the handsfree earpiece which I can us in the house.

A very easy setup and the hands-free works well. Being able to use up to four mobiles is a bonus

This headset is wonderful. I've had several in the past that kept falling out of my ear or were uncomfortable but this is niether. Clear reception easy to use and charge. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this headset to integrate it with my 2 BB phones and I have to say they work a treat with it. After pairing the device the first time I only need to switch it on and off and both phones will link to it automatically. The audio quality is excellent. The only negative point is that the USB port connection to the cable is a bit tight and it broke after a few days of usage. However the product has been replaced at the speed of light so the service from Mobilefun is outstanding. All in all I'm very happy with it, I only need to try and be as gentle as possible when connecting to the car charger or to the other cable provided.

Headset falls out of cradle going over bumps. Cuts off calls when I make them with the ear piece in the holder. Works when I use it out of the cradle. Nice idea that due to poor build quality simply does not work.

This has been a great piece of kit, which I've used for 4 months. It pairs with 2 mobile phones and switches between them seamlessly. The call quality through the ear piece is very clear, with easy volume adjustment buttons. The charger dock for handsfree gives reasonable reception, but can be susceptible to picking up road or in car noise. I use it handsfree to hear calls coming in and then pick the earpiece up for the call unless stationary or moving slowly. However recently the charger socket on the earpiece broke off, so I can no longer charge or use the device handsfree. I see this is the 2nd reported incident, so build quality may not be the best. I am looking to get a replacement unit as have been impressed with the device, but be aware it may be a design fault. Only 3 stars due to broken connector, otherwise it would have been 4. Excellent delivery service from MobileFun as always.

Good idea to include usb charge sockets and a speaker buy the earpiece charge setup needs changing. Pushed the charge socket on the earpiece into the headset because of poor design. Wont get another.

The first one I received had a problem with the battery and would only last an hour of talk time. Returning was straight forward, just had to follow the online instructions, package it up and pop it into the nearest collect+ centre. Got a replacement within about a week. Glad to say this one doesn't have the same problem. Not tested exactly how long it lasts but used it at least a couple hours so far without charging. Per the manual it should last about 4 hours talk time. Charging is quick, only takes an hour or two and you can use a standard usb micro cable in addition to the car charger. Using the headset the sound quality is pretty good even when driving and people don't have trouble hearing me. I didn't find it as clear using the hands-free speaker when driving, I had to turn the volume right up, then it was muffled slightly. The person the other end said it was harder to hear me as well. I'm not sure if there is a mic on the hands-free so it may use the phones mic instead. You have to take the ear clip off the headset in order to dock it which is a minor inconvenience. The extra usb sockets are useful feature if you need to charge your phone at the same time. I did find the charger a little loose in the socket which sometimes means you have to nudge it slightly as it loses the connection. This is a general problem I find with car socket connectors though. Using the headset is pretty straightforward, pairing was reasonably easy with the replacement one. Overall i'd say it is very good value for money and does the job.

What a super piece of kit, very easy to use and configure, plugs straight in, the handsfree works brilliantly without any echo at all (a slight concern prior to using) and the earpiece is a good model and more comfortable than my nokia bh-209. Definitely recommended as it is still a portable device if required, so I can take with me and use when driving abroad or in a different car.

I've been looking for an accessories which is compatible with my tomtom rider and can be used in car. Tiny as ear piece when detached or use urban rider in car with speaker adapter. Look no further. I am giving 4 stars only cause the adapter which goes in cigarette lighter is bit of poor quality which wobbles.

Good service delivery etc. For the price seems good paired ok. Unfortunately my 12v socket is next to my radio and when using the usb charging point it interfered with the radio even on a strong station.

The whole unit plugs into the 12v solket in the car and recharges the ear piece that you can dismount, if you wish to take youe call in private. A natty piece of kit that seems to be quite robust.

This is a briliant piece of kit, it does exatly what it says.

This is a very clever and small device.You need to study the instructions carefully to programme your mobile phone into it. Once done, it is easy and effective to use. Great value for the money. many thanks Mobile Fun.
