Dual Desk Dock for Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100

Usual very good service from MobileFun. This is a very useful device as you can simultaneously charge the phone plus a spare battery. The spare battery compartment takes both the standard and larger extended life Samsung batteries.

It's a desk dock that does what it says - charges your device and spare battery. However, there are a couple of little niggles that take the shine off it. The first is the complete lack of instructions with the device - there is a micro-usb socket and an attached USB cable: The socket is for your charger and the cable is a pass-through for syncing, etc but I only found that out through trial and error The second is the incredibly intense blue LED light that lights up when it's plugged in: I've seen bright LEDs before but this actually hurt my eyes when I first plugged it in! I've covered the light with some cardboard but it's still shining through it very brightly. There is absolutely no need for an indicator light to be that bright and it would be impossible to use as a nightstand without covering it up.

My galaxy s2 fits in the desk dock quite snug and looks neat and tidy, I just slip the spare battery in the slot at the back,that keeps it topped up so I always have a spare. The unit does its job well and I would say if you have a galaxy s2 this is for you.

Very handy tool for charging both the spare battery and the phone at the same time. The only down point is that while connected only by the USB port it just charge the phone, not the spare battery. However, if plugged on the wall it charge both at the same time.

Sadly I would not buy this again. When the galaxy s2 is sitting on the dock the charging connection is not very good and therefore the charging starts and stop. Just another note, the charging LED is very bright (blue) so you might not want this in your bedroom.
