Case-Mate Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 Safe Skin - Black

Works very well with the official 2000mAh extended battery, it actually fits tighter with it. It does fit a bit loosely on the stock battery cover though and sometimes starts to come off when i pull it out of my pocket. Other than that it is a very good product and the material is good quality.

So, Samsung have failed at producing a good silicone case for the S2. When my partner got her Nokia Lumia 800, she walked away with a branded silicone case too, so I was pretty hopeful something similar would exist for the S2! No such joy... Then along came Case-Mate. The case fits perfectly, and slips on and off the phone with ease, without feeling like it will fall off accidentally. The cut-outs are all spot-on, giving the cover a good look as well as protection. The front creates a 'lip' around the phone, meaning if you place it face-down you'll avoid scratches on the screen too. The Case-Mate Safe Skin feels like it would provide a fair amount of protection if I dropped the S2 as well, not that I've tried! (My Dell Streak suffered a similar fate, hence wanting a decent bumper). Dropping it is less likely with the Safe Skin anyway, the material adds a substantial amount of grip to the phone. In fact, I reckon you could put it on a car dashboard with little movement if you wanted to stash it somewhere safe while you drive. The markings on the case for the volume and power buttons provide excellent response, so once this case is on, there's no need to remove it. The biggest downfall? This case is a DUST MAGNET. I'm not sure if it's an issue with a small static charge building up, or its general rubberyness, but it's constantly covered in dust and small particles from my pocket! It even seems to get inside the case too, meaning I keep popping it off every few hours to clean the dust out from the inside. Thankfully, this doesn't seem to affect performance, and really is quite minor, given all the positives with this case. If you want something that'll resist the occasional bump (or even drop), and don't mind a slightly dusty phone every now and again, this is the case to buy.

This case is good. But as other reviews have said it could have been a little bit more tighter, sometimes it comes off too easily when I don't want it to. But very good quality.

This is a great bit of kit for this phone, fits perfectly and adds protection, and because it is rubber material you can stick phone on the dash of the car and it wont slide about. Perfect.

I found this case to not fit very snugly at all unfortunately, it even slipped off when putting the phone in my pocket. It's also a complete dust magnet. Better protection than my Barely There one, when it stays on mind.

I bought this just a few days after getting my own S2, because I totally wanted to protect it from scratches and smudges. The delivery was surprisingly fast, and the product itself is great! It has a smooth feel and adds a slight bulk, which is good for phone this slim. Perfect choice for this price, definite recommendation!

I bought this way in advanced in anticipation of getting my SII and I must say it does a dam good job. It wraps around the phone like a second skin, no mess no hassle and adds no extra weight or even a bulky look like some others. It actually does add protection as well from bumps knocks which I have proven (don't recommend you try though :)). A definite recommendation. Oh and these people are amazing with delivery. Literally next day (working)
