Looks great - take note of following
The item looks great, and should have been a good Christmas present, and to be truthful I didn't test much sound-wise. This is because the item doesn't work if you have any sort of casing on your Samsung. That makes it impractical for my personal use.

just what I needed
The sound horn is an entirely passive amplifier, it uses no power, requires no cables or connection. The amplification is significant which makes the volume of streaming media more than adequate for most purposes. The sound quality is reasonable but not likely to inspire a music enthusiast.
If you want louder noise for video or streaming radio it's ideal, if you want high quality audio it's not for you. My only niggle is that because of the orientation of phone in stand, you cannot adjust the volume without taking the phone out first.

Audio Booster
A slick and good looking design; as one would expect from a genuine Samsung product. The Galaxy S2 rests snugly in landscape profile tilted at 45 degrees for comfortable viewing. However looks isn't everything - the main purpose of the product is to boost the existing sound of your S2. It does this by using a series of air-channels within the base - akin to cupping your hands over your ears to amplify. The result is rather 'top heavy'; clearer high-freq but the bass limited. Good for viewing content with increased volume, but since it has no additional ports or connectivity access - it is more of a stand than a dock. The bottomline: rather expensive for a plastic stand.
