Having read some previous reviews which mentioned weakness in the ball joint, I removed the two retaining screws, applied thin smear of petroleum jelly to the ball and socket, replaced and tightened screws to just gripping. Joint moves smoothly and successfully.
Bracket is prone to dropping when crossing undulating terrain. Possible solution may be to tighten screws further.
Overall a useful holder, that needs some re-engineering to be perfect.
Unsure of longevity of product either. Be interesting to see if it is still in one piece after 12 months

In car Phone holder
Unit was easy to install and due to the extent that the jaws of the holder can extend it is able to accommodate
my Samsung note mobile.
The adaptor base adheres well, so far has not fallen off.

Disappointing
Bought this after watching the clip on your website but the product did not live up to the promises. It is not easy to use and does not stick well enough to surfaces to hold it's own weight let alone that of a phone. Would not recommend it as it is most definitely not fit for purpose.

Handy holder
This is a great in car phone holder. My HTC Evo 3d is a weighty device and the omniholder holds it tight and secure. It also folds away small and compact so it doesn't take up much room in the glove box when not in use.
Have seen similar units costing much more but you can't go wrong with this one. A great buy .

Neat N Tidy in car phone / device holder.
This is the neatest and tidiest mobile phone holder I have ever used. When not in use it can be folded away when still attached to the screen or the dash via the mounting plate or simply removed. It holds my iphone or my TOM TOM firmly without fear of it dropping off the mount. I can recommend this holder 100%.

simplicity wins over gadgetry
this has got to be the most simple mobile phone holder that i have had .the fact that its not restricted to a particular phone, and that you can even use it with your i pod, and you can either fix it to the windscreen or the dash board makes it all in all a very versatile bit of kit and most important its well priced.

Does the job
Excellent device - ordered for my new Galaxy S2 so I could use as a sat nav. It was very easy to fix to the windscreen, adjusts to hold the phone snuggly, swivels every which way and the sides are padded so it can't damage the phone. Other devices I looked at were more expensive and I can't see thar they are any better!

Best car mobile holder
This is the best mobile holder for inside my car I have ever had. And it looks like it is very good quality and will last me a good few years.
It is very easy to adjust the angle for viewing because of the ball joint, and the fact you can rotate to landscape view is perfect for using my mobile as a Sat Nav.
So much better than my previous holder which cost a lot more and has fallen to bits.

Works well with Galaxy S2
I hate things which don't work properly and I was pleased with this cradle. I used it with a bean-bag base to which it stuck firmly. The mount swivels in enough directions you can set it to your best viewing angle and avoid unwanted reflections. Slight niggle that one of the soft pads tends to slide around a bit but not enough to stop it gripping the phone firmly. Great little product which worked well on a recent 800 mile round trip.

Exactly as described.
Sticks anywhere on and around the windscreen and dashboard. It is easy to get an angle for your phone that suits perfectly. Cant fault it.

This omni holder does exactly what it says on the tin!
It fastens steadily to the windscreen and the universal holder secures the phone using a clamp system which holds the phone snugly either side. There are cushions in place on the clamp to avoid damaging that smartphone of yours and once in the holder, the phone is as solid as a rock.
The mount secures to the suction mount via a ball and socket joint, which allows you to move the phone to sit either horizontally or vertically. The ball joint is stiff, so it won't lose position when heading over the roughest of terrain.
My only criticism is that product isn't very big, so positioning the suction mount on the screen to give you access to both phone positions and your charger can prove problematic - but that's probably more an issue with the length of my charge cable.
All in all, for less than £10 you really can't go wrong.

Neatest in-car phone holder ever !
Having tried a myriad in-car phone holders with increasing disappointment, I can honestly say the Omniholder beats them all !! Small, unobtrusive but works a treat - sticks like glue to any surface, twists to suit viewing preference and holds almost any size phone, sat nav, ipod, MP3, etc

Small device. Easy to assemble. Fits on the screen through good ol' suck and compress method. Turns 90 degrees. I use it for my Galaxy S to provide cheap SATNAV. Comes free with a CAR-USB charger, which was great for me as needed to keep my phone charged. For the price, bloomin' brilliant. Recommend

This item enables me to fix my iphone anywhere on my car dashboard or windscreen. It holds the phone safely and securely. I can use the satnav app and also see who's phoning me. Great price and sturdy construction.

Surprisingly sturdy
This phone holder is almost perfect.
1) Its a windscreen mount, with that superior twist action to suck as with the latest tomtoms.
2) Its a 'anywhere' mount, as you can stick it to any flatish surface with the black plastic disk (comes with adisive pads + screwholes if you prefer), then suction mount to that.
3) Its very sturdy - 'twang' it while its outstretched, and it just sits still, yet is still easy to adjust to any angle.
4) It fits virtually any phone, easly accomodates my Desire and wifes iPhone4.
The only slight design improvement, would be to make it less deep - as the phone sits a little too deep into the jaws for my liking/fingers.
On the whole, well built & designed. A keeper.

Quality product for a low price
A great little bit of kit that folds down to a neat package.
I've used a mounting plate (included) with an adhesive bottom to attach the OmniHolder to the dashboard of my van and it works great.
The construction of the unit is strong and it sticks to a position you want without much bobbing about in travel. It has a good amount of movement freedom and you can turn it 360 degrees in rotation and up/down as you like to get it into the position you desire.
The suction cup works best on a mounting plate --as you would expect-- but before I mounted the plate, I used it on the windscreen a few times (long two way journeys up to birmingham (around 3.5 hours each way)) it stayed up there the whole time.
Great product, well worth the money.

Just what I wanted
This must be the simplest and most versatile of all the car holders. It is so compact that it can be carried in the coat pocket. The concept is similar to the Apple's own iPhone mount but considerably cheaper. It is a very good value for money product and I would highly recommend it.

Great device
Love this phone holder which is particularly good for mounting on a dash pad if you have one (I do) Mounts phone vertically or horizontally and switches between the two easily. Works brilliantly with my radio blutooth and mp3 device. And moves easily from car to car as I have to several times a day!

Sturdy and secure
The Omniholder sticks, securely, where you want it. Tried it on windscreen but settled with the adhesive pad on the dashboard. Absolutely solid, no wobble, in both locations. Secure, snug fit with my Samsung Galaxy S2 and would fit appear to fit any phone easily. Easy and quick to fit phone and remove at end of journey. I've used the Satnav function on my way home from work! Well pleased with it.

Fantastic
This works really well with My HTC Desire.Once on the screen it never moves,it's stuck very firm and difficult to get off when you remove it!
You can turn it in all sorts of angles to have it where you want it.
I haven't tried the disk to stick it to the dashboard so can't comment.
I am very pleased with the OmniHolder and would recommend you buy one!

Perfect for me
Whilst a little small, this holder holds my phone solidly and with minimal wobble on even the roughest roads. I particularly like that it holds the phone whilst it is still in the case.
It sticks firmly to the windscreen, and the locking twist makes me confident that it won't fall off. The additional mount plate for the dashboard seemed a useful extra.

Fits the bill perfectly
Bought this holder to go in my Landrover Defender as it has only a very shallow dashboard top and the holder seemed very compact.
I find it ideal for this type of vehicle and it holds my i phone no problem at all with no vibration as the Landrover isn't the smoothest of vehicles to ride in.
I can also turn the phone round to enable me to use the video function through the windscreen when off roading.
Yet again excellent service and a product that fits the bill from Mobile Fun.

Ideal and not ugly
Wanted a mount for a smartphone to use as a car journey logger which could also be used to retrieve traffic information and traffic camera access. This mount was exactly right and firmly held different sizes of phones in or out of case. Mount came with a disc to adhere to dashboard which grips fine. Mount is then fixed by suction to the disc which makes for easy removal.

Good phone holder
I've gone through a fair few of windscreen mounted phone holders over the years and I have a lot of faith in this one.
It uses a twist to lock design, akin to the more modern TomTom units which means it stays mounted on the screen; I sometimes have difficulty taking it off again!
The extending arm is short, which means there's less movement whilst driving which also helps to keep the suction in place. The arm is on a ratchet and can be rotated in both directions for landscape or horizontal use. The holder has a springloaded grip which holds the phone in place perfectly with no movement.
Lastly, it come with a flat pad with a sticky surface on the reverse to help attach this to dashboards etc if you're not keen on mounting it to a windscreen.

Simple and effective

Brilliant phone holder
When the tiny box came I thought they had sent me the wrong item. Way smaller than expected. Then it opened out like a Transformer... The suction cup looked far too simple to really stick and the phone gripper too small. More deceptively clever design!! The suction cup IS simple, but "By 'eck!", it sticks well to the windscreen, and the phone holder jaws hold the phone perfectly and easily, and the whole holder rotates easily on the base for portrait / landscape operation. A little triumph of functional design, and with no vibration or wobble - even in a Land Rover Defender. Excellent!

Great - But
Holds the sides of a mobile phone with spring pressure, but you need to be wary of pressing any buttons on the side of the phone at the same time.
Glass or Flat Surface Mounting but Instructions are not very clear/non-existent.
Versatile positioning of the phone at virtually any angle, but ball arm could be longer which would create more space to adjust the phone position.

I just bought Galaxy Nexus and wanted a car mobile holder which could take Galaxy Nexus with case and when i looked at OmniHolder,thought might fit the purpose & that is what it did.I got three devices of different sizes and they all fit in it( Nexus,Galaxy Nexus & Garmin 1600 series) and the beauty is it is very compact.

It really does stay put.
I've had phone car holders before and none of them stayed 'stuck' to the dashboard, or window, very well. When the item arrived (very fast delivery) I decided to give it a test run on the way to work as that particular journey has a lot of speed bumps and potholes! I was extremely impressed with the fact that it stayed stuck to the dashboard disc (included) the whole way. On the way home I tried the windascreen mount and decided to give it a harder time by going over the bumps faster than usual (my poor car lol) and it didn't budge. The 'clamp' mechanism that holds the phone in place fitted well on my Nokia Lumina 800, and |I'd imagine would fit most (if not all) phones. Overall I'd give it 10/0.

Nice and simple
Good fit for both my sat-nav and my phone.
Like the simple design.
Not tried the suction on the windscreen yet, as I am using the pad on the dashboard.
Well made, but when you rotate the gripper part it doesn't quite line up 100% vertical so only 4 stars.
Very pleased overall.

the best phone holder I've used
this is an excellent item which works in the car as well as other situations where you'd like to secure your phone for taking videos. the only grip I have is the ball joint isn't strong enough and breaks fairly easily. otherwise a really good holder.

Works well and great value
Was considering a tom tom holder for my iphone 4s. In fact I didn't need to boost gps signal, so found this holder in the sale and saved myself a lot of money. A bit fiddly to fit but once it has adhered to the windscreen it is all I need.

A really well designed thing
I wasn't expecting much from this, nor really expecting it to properly work, but it has an excellent mechanism for fixing to the windscreen, and genuinely did fit my galaxy note very well. It's so good infact, we will use it with our gps unit as well. Well recommended.

Shame about the wobble
The holder is neat and compact and is held to the windscreen very securely. The only problem is that the holder wobbles quite a lot when my car has started moving so it can be difficult to see items on the screen when my navigation app is running, other than that it's good.

Excellent Product BUT....
Ok now in terms on the actual product brilliant. Holds the phone good. But one disappointment the the sticky multi surface holder is not very sticky at all. Tried to stick it on my matt surface dashboard but would not stay on. Otherwise its fantastic.

The item arrived very quickly, and has proved to be exactly as described. My Samsung Galaxy has a folder, and I was not sure how it would grip it in the folder. I need not have worried. It grips it and holds it perfectly, and of course it can be placed on the windscreen or on the special pad which sticks onto any flat surface.

Great Idea, needs work
Bought this as part of the ultimate pack for my Desire HD as I needed a holder that would hold the phone while in a flexi shield case.
While there is no disputing it's a great idea, I think it works best with smaller phones. When installed there was a lot of bounce on my phone, which made using the Sat Nav a pain. That said, a smaller phone may work better.
All in all good, but, having had mine for 2 weeks it's now in the bin as the stalk snapped off! Back to the drawing board for me.

I've had this for a while now. Stays fixed to the windscreen, however the twist lock tends to come loose (un-twist) at times but all the time. When this happens the phones shakes, so if you're using the phone as a satnav, it then makes it difficult to follow the on screen directions.
Has not yet fallen of the screen.

This phone holder is great! It grips my phone firmly but gently.
The clever arm means I can mount it pointing in almost any direction seems to have full 360 degree rotation.
I had bought this to use in the car but I've since found it attaches well to the tiles in the kitchen whe I'm washing the dishes as well as sticking on bedside table to keep it safe from scratches while it charges overnight.
You can point it up down left right any direction and the fact that it can hold many models of phones is a great bonus. I'm tempted to grab a few of these as they are so handy!

Omniholder
Bought the omniholder over a month ago as my old phone holder looked clunky....My main concern before i got it, was that it might not grip the phone properly but it turns out it holds my iphone 4 firmly even when going over bumps. It grips firmly to the windscreen has not fallen off yet....i have not tried the bit for the dashboard yet as i really don't want it attached there. Overall it does exactly what it says on the tin. What more can i ask for ?

Good but not for long phones
I have the HTC Sensation and because of the length of the phone and angle of my windscreen (Peugeot 406)the phone can only fit so far down before the holder is pressing the volume switch. I do use the phone as a sat nav a lot and the swivel feature is excellent. I have a lot of clutter on my dash so can't fit the holder there, but that would solve the volume button problem. For me I needed a windscreen mount.

Great product
I did receive the product quite fast. As soon as I unpacked it I was impressed by the product's versatility. Very good standing for iphone 4s especially when you have a case on it. The grip it's firm and easy to rotate in all directions. The price is fantastic and the delivery is smooth. I would recommend it without moment hesitation. Great job guys!

Got this to hold my HTC Desire S. Stuck it on the windscreen 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't fell off - well impressed.The soft pads on the holder holds the phone snugly. Can adjust to angle you want Great.

Best holder I have used so far. By far.
Word of warning - the glue on the "dash adapter plate" really sticks and it can be removed only using a knife. On the good side - it is not falling off or going anywhere. On the bad side - you need to chose the right location the first time.

At Last!
The OmniHolder actually held my Wildfire so that it didn't end up on the floor of the car. Nice suction even if the holder vibrated on the local pothole riddled roads, fine on main roads and motorways. You can use the touch screen without the phone falling out of the holder.
I will now stop looking for the perfect holder, I think this might be it.

GREAT BUT ANNOYING
This is a great gadget, very solid and looks robust. Have used the dashbosrd flat disk that came with it, works perfectly, however, it wobbles quite a lot as you drive and can be disconcerting. On the whole very good.

Bought this as it was one of the only holders which would hold my phone and what a great little package it is not to big so does not obstruct your view it has great suction and and the phone is very secure in place would advise this to anyone is a little more expensive that some but worth it.

worked well until it broke
I was happy with this item and had no loose joint problems even using it at a motorsport event to hold my phone as it acted as a shift light. Unfortunately a week ago I tried to open it and it snapped at the ball joint. Despite my care having observed the weakness of the construction when I first received it. Not an item for people that need to move it around a lot. It was very cold maybe that didn't help. I've now bought an exomount which also seems very brittle and feeble around the ball joint and the tightening screw makes cracking noises when it gets tight enough. This seems to be an issue with most cheaper mounts. Time will tell on the durability front with the exomount. Shame the htc one is so expensive as that seems to have a metal ball joint!

Not Fit for Purpose
I have the smallest smart mobile around weighing less than 100gm but it still wobbles in this holder. The neck is not rigid enough being only 3mm thick and any bumps causes it to vibrate.
So am afraid it is going to be returned for a refund.

Best iPhone holder I've had
I've had a lot of holders, but this is the first one that works well. It is small and storable and allows for rotation of the phone. Sticks unmoveable by suction to the windscreen.

Very good holder for a few different phones, easily rotated to use phone for navigation etc.
One thing is that if you want to use the sticky pad on your dashboard position it so that the phone wont be leaning forward (i.e. at angle of >90degress from base), as I've found the pad started to lift off the dash a little

Surprisingly rather good
After trying various phone holders in my car I finally found the one that supports my two phones and more importantly (for me at least) is that the phone doesn't get shaken up while I am on the road. In fact I my buy another now while they're still available! Fab item

Just as i wanted...everything's included - small circle for non window handling and a special one for windows mounting,also very easy to take off, width is enough to hold nokia e-61,but i've got n8,perfectly fit.the 'head' could be 360degrees rotated. definitely worth the price!!

Had a in car holder which I put the sucker on my windscreen, but I kept knocking my arm on it all the time, and was blocking my view, so I saw this product and it is such a brilliant piece of kit, and I know have it stuck on my dashboard and it does the job and dosent block my vision.

I purchased two of these for me and my daughter, both having a new Samsung Galaxy S2. I do not use a cover on mine and the holder doesn't open enough, but you can wedge the phone in, if you have a cover, you have no chance of being able to use it so only 2 stars for this.

Disappointing
I chose the Omniholder for it's flat design. Because I've made a custom blanking plate where one of my air vents once was, I felt that the Omni holder would be ideal as I could leave it in place and would sit almost flush, and not look out of place or be in the way.
The problem with the Omniholder is that, like many other holders, it's just not sturdy enough. This results in the annoying 'phone wobble'. The balljoint isn't loose as such, but it's just not tight enough. I had my Desire HD tilted upwards the other day, and after a few seconds it would slowly droop back down again. There's also a small amount of play in the clicky rotating mechanism, so when you rotate the phone between landscape/portrait, you can then wobble it 1 or 2 degrees either way. I've also found that the suction mount is not good enough unless you wet it first. Had my DHD fall off twice through applying it dry (even though it seemed to grip well initially).
It's a nice holder in some ways. But when I'm using my phone as a Sat Nav, I want my phone to sit still, not be vibrating all over the place. And for that reason, and that reason alone, I can't recommend the Omniholder.

A bit of a disappointment
The phone holder looks the part but after 1 day of use the friction in the knuckle joint reduces and the holder will not stay in position. There are small screws to tighten this but after a bit of adjustment and acceptable use for another day the holder becomes to slack to hold phone in position. I bought 2 of these and both are the same.

I bought this for my iphone 4. The mechanism that sticks this to the car windscreen is really good and the holder is very neat but within 5 minutes of using it the hinge joint had loosened making the holder completely useless. It cannot stand up on the dashboard or stay in position on the windscreen. There is no real way to tighten the hinge into a certain position. If the ball-joint was replaced with a mechanism that can be tightened into position this would have been a great item but I wouldn't get one again

Upgraded my phone, result previous holder which was specific to model now useless. Needed new one to work with phone satnav. Omniholder is well made, sticks to windscreen with ease and price was fair. Will fit most 3G phones. Should have bought something like this first!

Not as expected
While the phone is held very securely, the phone is never going to just fall out no matter what happens. I am disappointed with the joint that allows you to adjust the phone. As other people have said when driving along the phone moved to point towards the ground making it useless. Have to make the phone rest on the dashboard when attached to the screen. Would not recommend!!

OK but ......
As previous reviews have stated the locking ring comes loose after a few miles. Also the spring loaded clamps are very very strong! The galaxy S2 requires the clamps to be stretched to its widest position which makes it very difficult to place the phone in & out of quickly whilst attached to the window screen. The weight of the phone also makes the holder fall downwards after a few miles. not the best product out there!

Very convenient
The OmniHolder is very convenient and future proof as well. The problem is that if your phone is heavy (like my HTC Desire Z), then it tends to fold back on itself at the slightest bump in the road. So far, I haven't found this very annoying, but we'll see. I hope it won't get worse with use.

Thank you for another very practical 'in car' solution- this does exactly what it says 'on the tin'. It is so brilliant i don't have to take my iPhone 4 out of it's case to use this holder & unlike cheaper options, this one stays firmly fixed to the screen- THANK YOU MOBILE FUN.
The only reason i can't give 5 stars is perhaps only because nothing is perfect, but this holder comes extremely close.

Nice looking bit of kit. I use it with the dashboard adapter which works well. It struggles a bit with a larger phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) and though it holds it firmly it does vibrate a bit, especially in landscape mode.

Worst Screen Mount
I bought this unit after watching the video they posted. Imagine my surprise when I fit it and after only a few minutes the mount is moving around so the phone is facing the floor. I have tried it all different ways and no matter how I angle it, after a few minutes of being on the road the phone has moved and is facing down, so I have to keep messing around with it :/

Very neat holder that is very secure and no need to remove the phone from it's case. Mine did slightly rattle on one journey but has been fine since, just need to make sure that the locking ring is fully rotated.

it works to its limits
It holds my phone tight but the knurled ring on the suction cup will not stay in the fully clockwise position because the mechanism on mine does not include anything to hold it there,it undoes itself with the motion of the car!!!

I found the unit rattles a lot to the point that I've stopped using it because it's so annoying.
The rattle is because the rotation clicker is too loose, meaning there is nothing that can be done about it.

Bought this product as it was compact without a spring to bounce my phone around. The holder grips my phone perfectly,however the suction mount has no locking device so when the sun shines,a lot of late,the mount softens and the whole things bounces around and the holder droops,meaning constant adjustment when driving,a distraction and safety issue.

To lock the suction mount, simply rotate the base of the unit. This should prevent it from moving when attached to your car dashboard or windscreen.

Very good versatile car mount.
Pretty much does everything it claims. I was a bit concerned about using the sticky pad as my dash isn't shiny enough to use the suction grip on it's own, but it's really secure.
It's also really neat, takes pretty much any phone and you can hold it almost any angle.
Only slight negatives are that it vibrates a fraction on the motorway and doesn't hold the phone quite firm enough to let you press the home key without the mount moving.
Overall though it's great!

Generally a good holder - easy to fit and holds the phone well. only prob is that the hand screw gets shaken loose quite easily - didn't last an hour's trip! will stick with it anyway as it's easy enough to tighten while you're stopped at traffic lights...

Not bad but not for Xperia X10
After searching internet for suitable phone holder for my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini I came across the Omniholder. I was at first very impressed but did notice that due to the small size of my handset the pads that hold the phone did not grip very well which suggested that in time the phone would slip from the holder onto the floor. After only the second time out in the car using the holder the phone ended up on the floor. In review I would recommend this holder because overall the quality and price is very good, however for anyone with a Xperia X10 mini or a similar sized phone then look elsewhere.

Obviously a cheap item.I've stuck it to my van's dash,and when it gets a bit warm,the knurled part that tightens the sucker turns back by itself and the unit starts flapping about.The sprung clamp is a bit awkward to use ,but at least it's foolproof.

So far so good
I bought this item because I wanted to have my phone in view so i could use the sat nav function while driving. I use a HTC HD2 which is quite heavy and as such the first thing I noticed is that unless the charging cable (my own) is fitted and being used as a support, the phone bounces up and down quite a bit. I tried to place the suction cup on a flat surface but it appeared to be the wrong type of flat surface after all. So rather reluctantly it is currently fitted to the windscreen glass - something I wanted to avoid. A sticker is provided with the kit and this may work to resolve the problem but it remains to be seen. The only other point is that when removing and refitting my phone it does like to loosen the suction dial which makes it even more unstable - a quick turn fixes this but perhaps a notch would prevent this every time. Apart from that the holder is as good as it claims and very easy to use.

The best yet!
Having tried several different phone holders over the years, this is the only one that I can recommend without reservation. I do not like holders that obstruct the aircon/heating ducts and sticky holders require a flat, smooth surface, which my Golf does not have. This one is perfect. The suction cup sticks firmly to either the windscreen or side window and rotates easily from portrait to landscape view. When not in use it folds up into a compact easily stowed shape. Perfect!

I drive a classic mini cooper which is not exactly the smoothest ride on some roads, this thing still holds my xperia arc tight. It's more than I expected. Took less than a minute to install, I use it every day without any problems. Also, it's really compact, which in my case is a must, so it doesn't block out half of my windscreen.

Useful for some but not all
Pleased with its construction and versatility for a number of items of equipment but not for a mobile phone. The minimum width is too wide for some mobiles and they tend to fall out of the Omniholder but for everything else it does the job. Would have been useful to know minimum and maximum width before purchasing but overall very nice product.

Disappointing.
This is a poor piece of kit. Does not hold the mobile phone in position. Phone gradually tips down whether or not car is moving.

Lots of promise, but seriously disappointing
I'm a real MobileFun fan, and have been delighted with most of my purchases. But having earlier bought the more expensive DriveTime CarPack for my iPhone, yet had it mechnically fail after only a few months, I was attracted to this new and much-promoted product.
The product has a sound concept, but poor implementation. The suction is awkward to implement and fails quickly; the holding links are clumsy; is very difficult to adjust and remove the phone; and the overall structure lacks rigidity. In short, a serious disappointment.
I'd much rather have a more robust version of the Drivtime Carpack.

Not good with I Phone
My I phone with protective case is too tight a fit. I don't want to have to remove phone from case every time I use the product. But ok for long trips.

omniholder
Bought this to hold either Tom Tom or my mobile and works well. Fitted the omniholder to the dash with the supplied metal pad so I didn't have to reach over to the windscreen.
Good buy, great price.

Good Idea, but not totally good.
The holder is a good idea. There is one problem that lets it down, the twist lock that increases the suction of the suction cup works loose with the vibration in the car. Otherwise this is a good holder.

Slight issue
Good product, but if you have the Desire S as this is shown for there is a issue if you need to run connected to power supply as the position of the usb plug is covered, unles you have the phone hanging off one side.

Just The Ticket
Have used this item a few times and it does what it says. It takes my Iphone 4 in a battery case without any problems, and sticks to the windscreen well. As stated it will not stick to dimpled surfaces, but the enclosed self adhesive disc will put paid to that problem. Very good price for a holder that takes more than one make.

Good budget option
Fitted, the unit is very secure thanks to a good twisting top that activates the suction pad. The arms hold the phone securely and the ability to move easily between portrait and landscape is really useful. The only slight drawback is that it does shake whilst you drive, making it difficult to, for example, see the satnav directions, however I overcame this by ensuring the unit is close enough to the dash so that the phone makes contact which stopped the shake.

This is small and gallaxy s fit in good this will be moved from truck to truck have had three diffrent makes from dear ones to lower prices ones so far. So hope this will not full apart so far all good the best one and so easy to use.

At last a holder that fits my car
I have a HTC wildfire and a '99 Seat Ibiza. This is the fourth phone holder I have purchased to try and mount my phone on the dash where I want it... At last, this thing is brilliant. Infinitely adjustable, you can rotate for GPS use. It takes my wildfire in its casemate no worries, I know it will work when I upgrade to the Desire S as well. I have used the sticky plate on the dash to secure it and its not moved at all. Hold the phone well, really pleased. The only negative point I can say is the twist lock that holds the sucker in place doesn't lock and is frequently loose but all credit to the holder even with the sucker not correctly fastened it still doesn't move, even under very spirited driving!

OmniHolder Case Compatible In Car Solution.
Fantastic piece of kit holds my blackberry no probs twists to any angle you need ideal for sat nav.

Phone holder
Recently bought the above phone holder from you, its ok for the price I paid but I find the ball joint a little sloppy. It's not the first item I've purchased from you and it won't be the last. I find the usual quality of your products are quite good as with your customer service.

Just wot I wanted
Hav jus bought this for my motorhome. Took less than a min. to fix it to dash. Can't wait to test it for real. Wish I had bought this one for my car, instead of the one with long flexible arm, which vibrates too much.

Omniholder in car solution
OK but some limitations
Omniholder has a good flexible, firm grip for the phone, but it vibrates too much when driving along which makes reading the screen or pressing a touchscreen button hard. Also its not much use fixing to the windscreen as it tends to be too far away to reach comfortably.
Conclusion, some good design features make it flexible to use but by no means a perfect solution.
