OtterBox iPad 2 Defender Case

Prompt delivery during Christmas week. Amazing robust product- layers and layers if protection.have to have it especually if you have young family at home.The only thing it doesn't have is water proof

Waited 5 weeks to get it delivered and then what disappointment, no screenprotecter as advertised on the site. Looked at other sites and they state the screen protector as well. Sent it back as believed it was missing but no the new one came without one. So more money to spend and otterbox loses a lot of credability. I would have happily paid another £10 on the price to off had the cover. Now the review, it does exactly what its states and provides best protection for your ipad. Close the case put it in your work bag, and you have no worries about it getting damaged. Excellent you tube video on how to put the cover on that really helped.

Just love the ipad 2 cover recently purchased - it does exactly as it says on the packet! bit fiddly to put on but once you got your head around it, it was fine! its comfortable to hold and not too bulky but it does give you that extra peace of mind for a much loved ipad 2!!.

Great case, bit fiddly to put on. There is no clear screen protector included and the screen cover has cutaway corners which allow dust and dirt to get under the cover and onto the screen. If you're looking for a really rugged case then look elsewhere. On the plus side the built in stand on the screen cover is great. Not a bad case but not worth £50. 00.

Delighted with the Otterbox - it does what it says on the tin! It is strong, durable, robust and fits to perfection. If you've spent an arm and a leg on your iPad, then I recommend you spend a little more and invest in this - you will not be disappointed.

Having never had an Otterbox, I ordered this case for my iPad 2 for protection - especially as I'd dinged the corner of my precious device already! Protection is certainly provided with 3 layers of addition to the wafer-thin device. This is the problem! For added protection, one sacrifices the aesthetic of the iPad 2. I didn't like the fact that the Otterbox cover does not protect the corners of the screen, and to be completely honest I will probably only Otterbox up when taking my iPad out of the house. In the house I am going to use it with the Apple Smart Screen I bought and the £4.99 silicone orange skin to cover the corners and back! If you're after iPad protection, this is the case for you. If you want to preserve the sleek looks of the iPad... think again!

Simply the best protection and support for the ipad 2. I also have defender for iphone 4 which is great too. Need more colours please.

I had been looking forward to getting this for a very long time because the first was meant to be one of the best cases and I wanted full protection for my iPad. the first thing I noticed was no screen protector, i was so annoyed because after spending so much on a case, I then had to go out and spend another £15 for a screen protector. it does provide good access to all the ports and buttons, but I don't think the big door on the back for the dock is necessary for everyone (well not me anyway) and I guess my iPad is a bit safer from bumps and drops. The edges around the screen aren't close enough to it so small bits or crumbs can get in-between the gap which can sometimes be heard scratching and scraping against the edges of the screen. And the case doesn't feel securely locked into place all the way around, I do quite like the stand/front cover with the two viewing angles but I wish it was a bit longer so that when it's clipped onto the front things can't fall in onto the screen, also I would prefer if it was symmetrical because it looks a bit odd.
