First class product
Item was out of stock when I ordered it and when it did arrive some days later, I understood why. The product is excellent and fully protects your investment, something, I understand the apple one doesn't do, so I guess it sells well. Anyway, worth the wait, i'm well pleased with it.

Protective, snug fit, does what it's supposed to d
Protects the Ipad, fits snugly, not bulky and doesn't come off easily like the others I've had! Protects the case, corners and screen and the multi-positional stand is ideal for office/home/train etc etc! Can't recommend enough!

Recommended
I was looking for an alternative to the Apple smart cover which also protected the back. This fits the bill perfectly. It has a nice feel to both the front and the back and the smart cover function works seamlessly. If I had to make a gripe, I would say that the hinge between front and back feels a little flimsy, but so far it has not been an issue. If you like the idea of the smart cover, but want to protect the back as well, this case is well worth considering.

Thank god I bought this product !
I bought this ipad2 case as a gift. Thankfully I did because as soon as we put the case on the ipad, my 2 year old flung the ipad across the room! luckily the ipad wasn't damaged at all I and really think it was because of the case!
as for the case itself, to be honest I don't know much about ipads,iphones I anything but the receipient of my gift thought the product was fantastic. They already had other covers which were very cumbersome, and so they were delighted with the slimness of this one. Also, the way it sits up easily really pleased them. I would throughly recommend this product, go for it.

A good fit!
After looking at the covers available for the iPad2, I found that many did not have backs or were too expensive. The Marware cover turned out to be a very good fit with positive corner clips to retain the iPad in the back cover; it has auto on/off, a top cover that folds to support the unit at just the right angle to type, and shuts to make a very compact and stylish look and feel! I am very pleased!

Very effective
dare not start using my iPad without an effective cover and this was just the job. perhaps not as flash as the Apple item but works very well and does a fine job of protecting both the back and front of my new iPad.

Marware MicroShell Folio for iPad 2 - Black
This is the best ipad 2 cover i have seen so far . It protects the ipad from the back and front.It works like the apple smart cover, but better than that . Build quality very good and doesnt look cheap . Very sleek and fits perfectly .

Great case
Fits perfect, you need to squeeze it a bit hard to get it on, but fits snug as a bug in a rug...
if your using it on a table, the folding flap works great, on a cushion or less solid surface it doesn't work so well...
All in all, great product and value for money.

Best iPad cover I have found
I think this cover protects your ipads back as well as it's front. Provides a decent stand similar to the smart cover. It fits the ipad2 like a glove and has a very sturdy look. I have tried couple of ipad covers now and thus is the best one I have cone across.

Finally satisfied.
I was looking for a perfect cover for my ipad 2 and after spending money on 3 different ones, I am finally happy. I wanted something to protect the back and at the same time to work as a smart cover, something not bulky, and it really does the job. The front cover look is not exactly as the smart cover and the magnet is not so strong but it works with the sleep/wake function. The back is made of great material and seem very durable. The holes are perfectly located. Resuming, it's not perfect but the best solution i've found and looks very nice and slim. The price at mobilefun is great too.

Smart Case
The Mareware Microshell Folio for IPad 2 is one of only a few cases curently available for the IPad 2. It completely covers the IPad and therefore protects it, unlike Apple's Smartcovers. However, like Apple's Smartcover, it has the folding cover which allows the "sleep" function to work when opening and closing. It also folds to form a stand "a la" Smartcover. It seems to be made of sturdy plastic and fits snugly around the IPad 2, not spoiling it's beautiful contours. My only concern is how long the hinged part of the cover will last?
In short the Microshell has the best of both worlds in that it protects and covers, unlike the Apple Smartcover, which just looks" pretty! The price of this cover is also cheaper than Apple's "half" cover. I would highly recommend this cover to anyone looks for design and functionality.

Cracking !!
Bought this as I felt that the Apple magnetic cover didn't give sufficient protection to the edges and back of the iPad. This fits perfectly and securely, is good to hold and work with. An excellent cover.

does the trick
Wanted a hard case which completely protected my new iPad2. This does the trick nicely. The top cover is basically the same as the APPLE SMART COVER and also has the sleep function when you replace the cover and wakens automatically when you open it up again. Handy!

Not impressed
Had this on order since launch of iPad 2 as most stylish and reasonably priced, but when it arrived it didn't fit the iPad 2 properly, it wouldn't click into place at the bottom left hand corner, very disappointed, I also felt the quality was not up to standard for the price. I won't be ordering another one. On the plus side impressed with mobile fun for quick deliver and easy returns proceedure

Not the best
The front cover part of this is very poor quality. I ended up cutting it off with a sharp knife and using my original Apple Smartcover which fits when you have the back casing attached. Then you get the best of both worlds - excellent protection to the back and the quality of the Apple cover on the front. Not the cheapest solution but now very happy!

Good
Good product, pretty strong back, and front does the job. Cheaper than getting Apple front and Marware back cover.
Only disappointment is that the design of front doesnt look the one advertised (no logo) and smooth plasticy leather is used rather than the furry look on the picture.

Slim, stylish and smart
Received my cover today after having it on pre-order since the launch of the iPad 2. Very impressed with fit of the back shell and operation of the front smart cover which automatically wakes and sleeps the iPad. The magnet is just the right strength to hold the cover closed. When used as a stand it can be positioned into two typing angles and two upright viewing angles. Overall a great all-in-one product which provides front and back protection without adding too much bulk, as well as smart cover and stand functionality.
