Great mobile
I love this phone. As I am a bit of a "Technophobe" I need more time to play with it's different settings.Having been a Nokia fan for so many years ,this is all so different to me.The reminders are frustrating me though. They are a little more complicated than Nokias

Awesome!
Having chosen this as an upgrade from my standard Desire, I was concerned that it wasn't much of a step forward. I was wrong. Feels much smoother than the old desire, and the new version of sense has lots of nice improvements. The build quality is superb. It's solid aluminum unibody design feels solid and robust. You'll not want to put a case on it! The gorilla glass screen means you no longer really need a screen protector either. Battery life is also something that has been improved. It will always be poor at first, as your battery will take several charge cycles to reach full performance. You'll also be playing with your new toy constantly! Give it a week. It takes 4 hours to drop from 100% to 99%! My old Desire would have been at 75% by then! Easily getting 48 hours out of it, and I'd consider myself to be a heavy user. (Oh and turn off 'Always on mobile data' setting, 'pocket mode' setting, and stay on wifi where possible to really boost battery life.) The only thing is avoid (and this is not a fault of the phone) is the built in navigation app, HTC Locations. You have to pay for a license, and after I'd done this, it didn't work. The people who you buy this license off (ROUTE 66) don't seem to care and won't give me a refund. Stick with Google maps navigation. It's free, works, and now caches journey info to SD card so you don't get such if you lose data connection anyway. If you are a Desire owner and wondering if it's worth it, I can tell you it's definitely worth it. If you have not had an HTC phone before, it'll blow you away. What are you waiting for?!

good kit
Had two iphones before I moved to HTC and I can say that they are far superior to the iphone. The hardware on this is superb, amazing screen and great functionality. Loads more to it that the iphone. Battery is poo but when you think what they are doing then it's ok, charge each night required!! At least you can have a spare battery, unlike iphone!!! Looked for one on ebay but didn't trust dodgy non-uk sellers like e cell, I trust mobilefun and have trust in them, important when you spend 400 quid on a phone. I'd recommend this phone over a iphone any day. 4 stars, only misses 5 because of battery life.
