Perfect ... eventually
Product is easily assembled and comes with so many adapters. Once in the car, everything seemed fine until I started driving and then the movement of the car would make the flexible arm drop down so that the phone was no longer in view. It got to the point of nearly returning the item until I had another look. Once I had really tightened the arm onto the cigarette charger (and I mean really tightened) then the problem went away. Pleased with the adjustable phone holder as well.

Excellent. Holds the phone in the correct position that I want it to be in, so that I can see the display [especially whilst using the navigation app.]and charge at the same time.

Does what it says on the tin
I've been looking for a phone holder / charger for a while that could be placed within easy reach whilst driving and thought that this would fit the bill. After a bit of bending of the flexable arm I managed to position it away from the gear stick and my left leg in my car ( Mazda 6 ) and my phone worked perfectly even with sat nav on. The only things I would point out is the pictures do not show the lead attached to the power adapter and that as it is made of plastic, the swivel joint might break if you are not careful when tightening or adjusting the unit. Overall a good value phone holder / charger.

Does the job.
Delivered promptly. It sits neatly in the power socket on my Merc, which is vertical, but can imagine it may be more of a problem on a horizontally positioned socket. Tends to wobble around a bit, but otherwise good value and makes the phone easy to view.

Brilliant item
I thought for 12'ish pounds it wasn't going to be that good.. Well it is pretty good actually, its a little early for quality marks but its holding a heavy Iphone4s okay and its charging which is exactly what it suppose to do, like everything after a year or so it might get a bit wobbly through constant removal of items but im pleased.

What I thought I needed
Great item only prob I have got with it is that the arm on the phone holder is not long enough .Would suit a vehicle where the Cig lighter is higher up the dash board.Everything else is fine and very useful

better than expected
excellent item. not having a smart phone means i can use the holder and charger for my phone and the usb plug for my satnav at the same time. and the bendy neck means i can easily move it to avoid gearstick.

Good buy!
After reading many of the reviews when I was looking for a new holder for my Nokia E7, I plumped for this one. Easy to put together and the multiple charging adapters are great - friends have been very grateful to be able to charge their phone when in my car! I agree with some other reviewers, if the phone is a tad heavier, bigger etc unless you really work to get the flexible stem in the right place, it can drop down slightly. This is minor really as it still keeps hold of the phone and let's face it if you are driving you shouldn't be looking at your phone even if in a holder! Another tip is to move the stem so it leans on a part of the car and this seems to work ok! If the phone holder was connected to the stem with a ball joint as at the base of the stem it would be even better and more flexible to use. So all in all a good buy for what it is.

life saver
Just got a new car and the old universal holder was not compatible because of the shape of the dashboard.
So I ordered a new holder with a long flexible arm on it, and it works really well.
Only one small criticism, sometimes because the weight and angle you have the phone at, it will slip round in the cigarette lighter and the phone will fall down, if the attachment you place inside the cigarette holder could be of a tighter fit then I would have given it 5*, all said its a great product and at a great price.

Once you get it to the correct position(1st attempt I knocked it with my knuckles when changing gear!!) its a sturdy bit of kit also handy with the USB port for charging Kindles etc,the only downside and that depends on the layout of your dash ,I could do with a longer stem for My car (2010 Accord).

The product seems very good, until you place a phone in the holder (Samsung Galaxy S), Then the arm begins to sag, and will not stay in any one position. The arm needs to be stronger

Great In-Car Phone Holder
This was just what I was looking for. The phone holder is perfectly sized for todays modern touch phones and the flexible arm means you can adjust it to suit almost any vehicle. Plus it comes with a full set of connectors to allow you to charge any phone. An excellent buy.

top marks
Excellent mobile carrier and charger. Does exactly what it should do. Other carriers have proven hopeless. I must warn you though it is a bit of a beast in size. It is either in the way of the radio, the heating controls, or the gear stick. No postion seems to avoid everything. Not really a complaint just an observation. I do like the versitility of changing the charger connections to charge all the family mobiles when travelling.

Pretty good, but be gentle with it!
Overall I'm pretty pleased with this; it came at a competitive price, not much more than many of the phone-holders which don't have a flexible arm on them. Just a word of caution so you don't do what I did: the flexible arm is very stiff initially, and trying to position it in the car with the holder and phone in place (which is the natural thing to do) I managed to snap the rather small bit of plastic which attaches the holder to the arm. A spot of superglue has fixed it up and it's fine now, but I wasn't best pleased when it initially happened!
Now it's fixed, the holder and arm are reassuringly solid, the holder retains the phone well, and the arm allows flexible positioning depending on where your lighter socket is. It's also nice having a set of phone adaptors in the car in case someone else wants to charge their phone or device.

Does the job
The mobile cradle does the job well, although stability is a slight issue i.e. if your electrical point is located in a horizontal position rather than a perpendicular position in the vehicle, then the weight of the phone can cause the arm to swing around if not well seated in the socket. However, it looks good, is out of the way and thus far I've had no issues.
The one big downside is that the actual cradle itself is totally plastic, including the moving parts which in my opinion doesn't bode well for longevity.

No problems. Sometimes you have to readjust the neck but it's no major issue. Charger works, neck stays stable once adjusted. Good price.

Great Product
The product is exactly as described, and is very useful as two phones can be charged at the same time.
Whilst the holder is very flexible it does not fit as I would like in my VW Eos, so we have used it in my wife's car, where it works perfectly.
The holder is very stable and fits an iphone and a Samsung Galaxy mini.

Exactly what I needed
I always used my phone via the car stereo speakers using a jack (for calling and listening to music) and my phone would sit on the passenger seat which meant it slid about and was not always accessible to answer a call or change the music track, now it is at my fingertips and a lot safer to use. I have the samsung galaxy s2, partner has the samsung galaxy ace and it works with both phones :-).

Simple and adaptable
Purchased a Trailblazer charger holder, arrived promptley as promised,Product is very simple and straight forward to use, biggest asset, its adaptable, can be used in more than 1 car, which is what we wanted,
Holds, charges (more than 1 phone if you want..or sat nav etc) and displays them were you want them fits a variety of phones or sat navs.... simple ideas are often the best...

Exactly what I was looking for!
Ordered the item on Friday afternoon using the free 2nd class delivery and it still arrived Tues morning! I was a bit worried about whether the product would fit in my Mercedes CLK as the cigarette lighter is just behind the gear lever. But it fitted with no problems and the charger works a treat! Holds either one of my mobiles (HTC & Blackberry) fine. Great product for a fraction of the cost - well done MobileFun.

The best ever
The Trailblazer is one of the best car chargers I have used. My previous ones weren't ideal as the phone was left lying loose on the seat or dangling. I now have 3 of these in the family and even use mine with the external phone case on as the arms extend to fit large phone sizes.

The best HTC Sensation car phone holder I can find
First things first; this device all depends on where your car cigarette lighter is positioned. In my Peugeot 306 it is off-centre, on the right, just above the most forward (5th gear) position of the gear stick.
As such the device is out of the way and can be adjusted.
It works! It holds the mobile in place & it charges it! It's perfect for sat nav stuff but I wouldn't want to dial out on the phone in transit - the holder has a tendency to tilt if the phone is touched without a degree of gentleness - this is not easy travelling along a motorway at full tilt...

Just the job
This little device is a superb bit of kit.
It not only allows you to charge any phone due to the number of different adapters it comes with but also a holder which allows you to adjust the angle of the phone in your car.
Its genuine value for money as well at just over £10 + vat.
I am very impressed and would recommend this to anyone who needs a holder / charger all in one.

Useful and versatile piece of kit.
I bought this as a car mount and charger for my elderly and small (3.5) sat nav. It served its purpose well providing an adequate mount and charging facility. However I have since upgraded my sat nav and the new one came with a dashboard mount. But the trailbazer isnt obsolete. It now provides a super mount and charging point for my mobile. I can now keepn both sat nav and phone fully charged and linked with each other via bluetooth. All in all a very good buy.

Needed some Adjustment
I bought this to use for my HTC HD2 in my new ix20 which has Bluetooth capability. Despite it being floppy I have managed to use it. I cannot use the bottom stop & I have to use the clamp upside down otherwise it presses on the volume button. It holds the phone OK. I have had to put a screw through the clamp/flexible connection to stop it turning. I have also had to use a small screw & ty-rap fixing to reduce the vibration. Not an entirely satisfactory solution, but Brodit have not made their version available yet.

Just got a galaxy s2 and needed a car holder. The trailblazer is perfect. Easy to set up and holds the phone very securely. I'm driving a 2006 mondeo with cig. Lighter near handbrake so cradle has to be close to passanger seat(sorry darling) but charging and clear view are very important. A longer stem may be a good idea in the future.

Fairly good..but..
I got this product as we have several different phones etc to charge. all worked well apart from on nokia adaptor some plastic snapped off (still works) and on LG adaptor the lead is too tight so stops charging every now and then. Otherwise fairly happy.

The old adage is true..
Using: HTC Desire S and VW Gold mk 6.
I think my expectations (or hopes) were too high, turns out the device is not ideal for the space in my car, there is no angle that doesn't conflict with something, in the process of making the best of it, it broke in my hand, coming apart between the swan neck and the bracket. I was expecting a cheap fix to the car mount problem but....
....you get what you pay for. And there is no such thign as "universal"

Just right!
I've been looking for a suitable car cradle/charger for my HTC Desire HD for some weeks and not found anything suitable... until now. This fits my car and my phone perfectly. Time will tell as to how reliable it is but so far so good.

Flimsy Bracket
Whilst the charger and holder were good the bracket for the holder is very flimsy, I only had it installed in the car a couple of days and whilst adjusting the position it snapped off rendering the holder useless. The charger is still of use hence the 2 stars

Good inexpensive solution & good service
Its a good product/solution for my HTC. Build quality is fine. The USB charger is great so I can charge another device. Product arrived ahead of time but was missing the charging cable, but sent email to MobileFun customer service and received the missing part within a couple of days. Good product and good service. Waste of money and time
A complete waste of money. Some of the tips broke as soon as I tried to take it out. The holder is rubbish, does not hold the mobile and it keeps falling down.

Nice piece of kit
If you don't have the latest bluetoothh technology pre-installed in your car you need an after-market solution. This ticks many boxes- especially the sheer number of adapters supplied to fit most phones. One word of caution - in my astra, the 12v outlet (cigar lighter) is close to the gear shifter which can cause a problem.

perfect little helper!
This product is actually really goood! the lead doesn't work if stretched too far but other than that this is just what I needed for my car! I have a suzuki ignis and it fits perfectly without getting in the way of my gear stick :)

Excellent product but build quality a bit dodgy
I bought this phone holder because all the ones with suction mounts never stay on for more then a few hours and it's really annoying when they fall into the footwell when you're driving. This one fits into the lighter socket so stays rigid. However, I have a ford focus and the position of the socket is such that it's a bit of a squeeze to get the holder to fit. However, the flexible neck is excellent and you can twist it in all manner of shapes to get it to sit nicely in place and the phone (htc desire) then sat just to the left of the gear stick just where I wanted it. Things I like about the device:
flexible but rigid and doesn't wobble about
extra usb port for charging another device
easy to fit phone
multiple charge leads for different phones
things that could have been better:
the silver top cap came off after 2 days and won't fit back on. Poor build quality
the blue light stays on even when the ignition is off which I dont like
the actual phone holder has a habit of popping off the stem if you try to adjust the phones position one handed (i. E while driving)
so for the price not bad, with some very good features but build quality could be better.

Bought for my wife, who had been using earphones in the car. She is pleased with the device. The round 3. 5mm socket caused some difficulty, being slightly loose and causing power to disappear, but an eventual wiggle has fixed the holder for now. For £13 it will do.

Like the idea of a holder/charger in one. I have a peugeot 308 and it gets seriously in the way of the gear stick despite spending a lot of time trying different positions for it, so not so good for me!.

Doesn't Charge Defy
Unfortunately this doesn't charge the Motorola Defy. The battery just goes flat. It is a nice car dock though.

The concept is good but the Samsung adaptor did not fit my Samsung Mini phone, It only went partly in and the slightest movement it come out. Not a lot of good in a moving car.

Great little gizmo. It holds and charges my phone superbly plus when the wife is in the car with me she plugs her phone into it at the same time. Good service too. Was kept informed of delivery and avialability all the way through.

Very impressed with this product. Great quality surprisingly sturdy. Because of the gooseneck desing it doesnt ever get in the way of gear stick (i have put it in 4 different cars, audiA4,peugot206,subaru galaxy and vauxhall astra) they all have cigarette lighter in different places and I have always managed to set up phone (samsung galaxy) or ipod withing easy reach and view.the padded bits also are in the right place and thick so I cannot see it ever scartching or damaging phone or ipod etc. also very adaptable for size small phone will also fit snugly.also very cheap!!well worth money

Worth buying
Good quality product, however this is dependant on the location of your car's power socket. The supplied gooseneck does make it easy to find a decent position for your phone, but again will depend on the car. I have the new fiesta and the socket is placed below the gear stick, meaning I have to make sure the phone clears the handbrake and 2nd gear! Once in place the holder is sturdy and secures my phone really well. Worth the price and delivery was very impressive.

This is the first time I have puchased one of these but I have purchased 3 of the Model that has more of a Fixed arm the last one just kept blowing fuses and the others packed in, the idear of this product is great but in operation they have all had funny moments on charging, when puting on charge it constantly makes the phone bleep at you most anoyingly, I dont think I will buy another.

Spot on for us.
As long as you are OK with your 'phone, GPS, or Tab plugged into your lighter socket, then you will find this a really excelle4nt piece of kit (I'd say 'cool', but I'm too old for that!). It's useable by driver or passengerand it ain't expensive. Contrary to some reeviews, delivery was smooth and fast. Good work, keep it up.

Seemed like a good idea but....
I had hoped that I would be able to use this holder to use my phone's sat nav function, (HTC Incredible S)but I've not been able to find a position where it can be placed without it being struck by my gear lever, Peugeot 307, or my knee. I'm using it as a charger at the moment and it works fine for that, a bit expensive for that single function though.

I thought this was going to be perfect for me , I placed it in the cigarette lighter and it intermitantly charged my phone and when it sat in cradle the phone kept moving. A total waste of money.

Fits in my Mondeo MK3 perfectly, nice tight fit in the cigarette lighter. Unfortunately the charging adapter on mine did not work with my HTC HD7 but the USB port is OK. Hence the four star rating.

My TrailBlazer Advanced Pro Universal Car Charger and Holder arrived the following day after ordering & upon easy assembling fitted it into my Audi Q5 lighter socket in the ashtray. Made for the job. Disappointed that there was no Goose neck adapter in kit as the ad suggested but not a real problem. Charger lead & adapter work great & good selection of connectors. Thank you

Its ok but....
Pretty much does what it says on the tin.....well blister pack really. Charger works fine with my ip4 however I only recieved the flexi gooseneck arm, the other right angled one was not included in the pack.

TrailBlazer Advanced Pro Universal Car Charger and
I bought this for use with an iphone
I cannot get the lead that comes with it to charge thew iphone so although the holder is good it has been assigned to a box in the garage of poor buys.

Excellent Product
I upgraded my phone from one that used an installed car-kit, so needed a new holder/charger. This is a versatile option that holds my phone securely an allow me to keep it fully charged at all times. Adjusting was easy, but took a bit of 'trial & error' to get a comfortable and safe position. Not sure at this stage how long the cigar lighter mounting will last in daily use.

Not really universal
A good idea but will not fit a x type jag. Obstructs the gear leaver.

Useful gadget
The inclusion of the 'goose neck' makes it very adaptable, I had the previous version but it didn't fit easily into my car. The 'goose neck' means that I can now charge my iPhone and use its map facility, without it getting in the way of the gearstick, my leg etc.

Not Universal
It is impossible to use this item in a X type Jaguar. It blocks the gear lever and the CD player

Almost perfect...
This would have been great in a different car about sums up my issues. Essentially if you have a modern Vauxhall Astra the location of the power socket is not very compatible with this device due to the restriction on angle you can achieve. I have managed to position in horizontally but it is not possible to have it hold the phone in portrait style

Not bad
I had a bit of trouble putting this together as the joining parts were badly moulded and therefore rather tight. Once assembled it did work quite well although it does get in the way of the gear-stick, however, that's down to the position of my cigarette-lighter.

Not what the doctor ordered!
Unfortunately, the usb port on the charger doesn't charge my iphone 4 when using the iphone usb cable.
The jack to insert the cable supplied broke the second time I used it.
The charger was a very tight fit for the cigarette lighter in my Mercedes CLK resulting in the cover for the cigareete lighter not closing properly (when the charger is removed).

Excellent Product
Compact, neat don't have trailing cables when charging. The flexible arm attachment is definitely a bonus. The only negative I have found is that the charging cable could have done with being a little longer for use with the flexible arm attachment as my phone's charging point is on its top.

Not suitable for 56 plate VW Golf
Unfortunately this product doesn't fit in my Golf, in any setup format.
Looks good on the website but materials are only average and certainly would be disappointed to have paid the full £25.
Will being returning the product and looking for alternative.

Good Choice for the Car
Just as described. But a little difficult in my car as lighter socket is close to the gear lever position in 1st gear (Hyundai Coupe). It would be useful to have instructions included.

doesn't fit Honda Jazz
Had to send this back. Product is fine and the charging idea and plug into lighter socket all fine. But the options to use a short head or a longer stem really seem to apply to a lighter socket mounted horizontally. The Honda socket is tucked in and I couldn't find an angle which worked. Have gone back to similar holder but with suction pad onto window and have it on right of steering wheel where I can see the phone and the road but have to stretch the charging lead under the steering wheel again (which is why I went for the TrailBlazer when I got the email!). Shame it didn't work out.

Not ideal
I saw this item on the mobile fun website and it looked pretty good, but it unfortunatly was too big! I sent it back in the end as the charging unit didn't work for the HTC also. I own a Vauxhall Astra and not matter which adapter i used or where ever i placed it, it was always in the way of the gear stick!
Shame!

just what i thought i needed
Having just received my HTC Desire HD, i needed an adjustable cradle/charger and thought the trailblazer looked just the job.
Now i know why the thing is in the sale! Quality is pretty awful and the swan neck doesnt fit properly and the plastic silver ring cover fell off before even being used. One saving grace is that the cradle itself is quite supportive.

Reasonably satisfied
I purchased this to replace a broken standard phone car charger. The adapter fits the cigarette lighter with a bit of effort but I can only use the fixed short support arm as the flexi arm will not attach to the back of the cradle. I suppose I could try filing the connector. This means it is a bit crowded around the gear lever and the phone does not sit as high up as I would have liked. With a bit of fiddling the cradle will also hold my tomtom one. One of the cradle's arm pads fell out on opening the package. This was refitted easily enough but might not auger well for the future. The packaging was a breeze to open - well done for that. Reasonably satisfied with the product.
