Dock Extender Cable for iPhone, iPad, and iPod - Black

This will act as an extension cable to charge but is not fully compatible for audio. It works with some units but not with others (my iPod connection in my car). The latter was what I wanted it for.

Sorry to say but the item did not work. Needed to extend an iPod lead in my car. Plugged it in but no joy. Suspect the wiring may not be compatible with the original plug.

I bought this cable to dock my iPhone 4 with bumper case to my Akai Synthstation25. Unfortunately it doesn't fit through the official Apple Bumper case despite the product page saying it fits "most cases." Secondly it doesn't work even without the case to connect the phone to the Akai, so it's clearly not connecting all 30 pins. It's a nicely made cable, but doesn't really match the description, and certainly doesn't work for me.
