Very pleased but room for improvement
The case looks great on the phone and fits like a glove without adding too much extra bulk which a lot of other flexi-skin type cases do. Volume buttons were no problem to use at all but the power button was originally a bit hard to use but it was fine after a few hours of use. All the ports are easily accessible as well and it doesn't cover the speaker on the back so you get good sound as well. The one thing that lets it down slightly is the finishing around the outside edges. Tiny traces of excess plastic were left over leaving a jagged feel which does take away from the overall feel of the case but they can be sanded away with no damage to the rest of the case. I wouldn't let that tiny fault put you off buying the case though, it looks great and the phone feels really secure.

Well constructed, but functionally not great
My first impression of this cover was good. It is well constructed, fitted perfectly over the phone and seemed to offer good security for the phone against potential drops, suggesting that it wouldn't come out of a fall in a bad way.
The rubbery feel to the cover also gave the impressions of a better almost non-slip feel.
However, and for me a big one. it does limit functionality of the phone, despite what others seem to have indicated. The power button is covered, Although there is a slight recess to indicate where it should be, it still needs a bit of effort and fiddling to operate the screen unlock, which I considered a big flaw. The volume buttons are also consealed within the cover, although you may not use these on a regular basis, I imagine it would become tedious if you did want to access them and may put you off maximising your phones features. The charging area and earphone access are perfect. Which makes me wonder!

Stylish and effective
This case is almost flawless. It looks better than any case I have seen for this phone, mainly because it is actually black, and not transparent like some of the other "black" cases are. It also looks very clean and tidy, and it fits tightly.
The only negative is that the power button and volume buttons are a little awkward to use with this case on. You have to press rather hard on them. However they seem to be getting easier to use after a couple of weeks. Besides this is a small price to pay for a case that looks and feels perfect!

Perfect fit
As protection goes, this is one of the best cases ive ever purchased. After purchasing over a dozen cases over the years for phones varying in size, this has been the most elegent and sturdy case ive purchased. One in a kind make. The 'perfect fit' case has been really well thought over. With a matt black design on back making it very easy to carry for example in your new jacket pocket.

great case, BUT very hard to use power button
After stuggling with power switch, I decided to try the clear case, and this one is slightly better.

Great skin
The flexishield offers a more robust outer shell for the phone. It also prevents scratches and marks accumilating over the sides and rear of the handset. I had to replace the phones case recently due to this, and bought this shield to prevent this happening again. It also prevents the side buttons erroding over time, which seems to be a symptom of the desire hd. Fits snuggly, and makes the handset less likely to fall out of your hands due to its grippy texture.

Excellent
Great case. Protects the phone without adding unnecessary bulk. My only complaint with it is that the top of the case that covers the power button is so hard that switching the phone on and off can be troublesome, hence the loss of one star, but I am sure it will soften up with use.

serviceable

DO NOT BUY!
I can't express my dissatisfaction for this product, the first case i received didn't even fit my phone! So after a waity process, i received my second case. This one fit nicely but the craftsmanship on the phone was just horrendous. The whole that is cut for the usb and earphone slot looked like it had been cut by a child with safety scissors.

Just Great
After getting a phone like the HTC Desire HD you need to look after it so after reading some reviews on this I got one and all I can say is wow. It fits great & does not add any more size to the phone.

best case ive had for htc desire hd
This has got to be the simplest/neatest case I have for my htc desire hd and probably the chapest. It just works for me - the matt black backing of this case fits snug, resists fingerprints and greasy marks, and is so neat it almost looks like its part of the phone. Its simplistic and made of a material that is not sticky or rubbery and wont collect dust or get stuck in your pocket. I think if I was to pick any flaws with this, the case I had had a slight nick out of the cutout for the usb section at the bottom - as it the cutting process was a bit shoddy, bit im sure if it would have bothered me enough to get a replacement this would have been a one off manufacturing defect. The only other thing was there there was no button insert on the inside of the power button section of the case like there is on the volume buttons, this made for quite hard pressing to unlock the phone with the power button - but I modified this by adding a tiny bit of bluetack to pad the inside out under the button, and stuck a little selotape over it to keep it in place. Seemed to work.

Nice bit of kit
My Desire HD is my first smart-phone and being on a 2 year contract I want to keep it in as good a condition as possible.
I can't comment on other products that do the same job but I am totally happy with my purchase so far. the fit is very snug so you can only tell it is not part of the phone until closer examination. It also has a nice feel to it giving extra grip when holding it.
As for protection, again I can't really comment as I have not dropped the phone yet, but I would imagine it would offer a little more resistance to the bare case.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and the service offered by Mobile Fun is first rate with an excellent web-site and very efficient delivery.

not bad
The case fits well and seems to be made well. My only problem is the picture shows it to look like a gloss smooth finish. But the items is in fact dull and feels oily to touch more like silicone.

Good case with a little flaw
Great cover, fits perfectly and the material gives a secure feeling. Only problem is the power button is difficult to use as the button on DHD is flush with the body, the case does not have much give. The volume keys however are improved by the case.

perfect protection against drops n bumps
Ive owned many different smartphones and broken most of the screens on them too (especially htc)even with cases but this one seems to be the perfect protection against accidental drops and bumps. It covers the all important corners and stands slightly proud of the screen so its safe to lay flat but isnt bulky or too heavy. Its rubbery so it doesnt split when dropped and can be taken off/fitted easily if you need to access the battery or sim. Fits well,good quality,charge/cam/flash holes cut well,duz the job.

Acceptable option
The material of this case is better than gel cases. It does not pick up as much dust particles as the gel case. The case fits the phone quite well but not perfect - due to the material nature. Too tight a fit would stretch the case too much when it is put on. I think this acceptable for the price.

Fits like a glove, feels great, really strong, does not affect the use of the phone in any way, another good point - i work in a fabric sample warehouse and i come home covered in fluff but it never sticks to this skin!

Perfect!
Exactly what I wanted. Unobtrusively protects the back of the Desire HD without adding bulk whilst allowing all functions (Power, volume, etc) to be easily operated. Excellent.

Does what it says on the tin
A top product. It fits like a glove - very snug so it doesn't look like an accessory. On/off button and volume control still easy to use. Shame its not got a built in front cover as well tho

A Great Fit!
First thing to note is that this is not solid black in colour as the photos suggest, it is actually translucent and appears to be more charcoal in colour.
The case itself seems pretty good, it fits rather tightly onto the HTC Desire HD.
The tight fit is a positive thing I should add, it hugs the phone well and is certainly a lot better than a silicon case for both protection and look.
The only cut out on this case is for the micro USB and headphone socket, the cut out is a little larger than it needs to be in my opinion but it's fine.
There are no cut outs for the volume and power buttons, but the volume buttons are easy to operate with the case on.
The power button is a little harder to operate as it is already recessed, so the case just adds a further layer but you'll get used to this.
Overall, the case is good quality and doesn't add much bulk to the phone, recommended

Better than expected
I have just got my upgrade phone, a HTC Desire HD..
Its a beautiful phone and I wanted to keep it that way.. I had searched on the web for silicon case type protection then came accross the "MobileFun" website.
There are many examples to chose from and I confess I ended up buying 3 different types of case / cover for the HTC.
I have to say that straight away I went for the "Flexshield Skin".
Its quite a tight fit but it really does make the phone handle better in my opinion. Its fit is literally like a second skin and doesnt interfere with charging or the use of the camera / flash.
Its actually such a good fit and the finish is so good that its like the phone has had a new cover.. In fact several friends didnt realize it was a cover.
So to sum up..
Brilliant and it does what it claims.
