Kidigi Desire HD desktop charger
Good: snug fit, charges fine (I've not had any problems with the supplied plug as other users seem to have), good angle, stable base.
Bad: large white logo not shown on website picture (prefer the minimalist look), supplied lead is VERY short, expensive at £15.
Let me re-iterate, the supplied cable is ridiculously short. Unless your USB port or power socket is right below or next to the place that you intend to place the cradle, the supplied cable will be useless to you.

So far So Good
Had this for over a year now (I believe in a good test before I review ;-)) and it has proved to be very good VFM. The item I recieved cam in three pieces, the cradle, the USB cable and the UK 3 pin USB adapter. The cradle fits the phone like a glove and only occasionally needs a little wiggle to get the charging light to show on the phone. I've used it plugged into a laptop and to a power socket and both work without any drama. I'm giving this one 5 stars as its a good marriage between cost and functionality. (Wish that could be said for the Kensington Bluetooth car visor kit which has just died a little over a year after purchase :-( )

Almost what I wanted
This is a great product. I only wish I had the foresight to realise that it is designed to take the phone without the cover so to use it my phone is in and out of it's cover constantly which is of course annoying. It is a great fit though and sits nice and neatly on my desk.
Nothing amazing but not cheap rubbish either.

HTC desk charge
I had bought a cheaper desk charge, and guess what that is exactly what I got. Was never happy with it, as the phone did not fit right. So paying that bit more for the HTC Desire HD desktop sync and charger cradle, from, Mobile Fun. My phone is secure in its stand, the fit is just right and the phone slides onto the charging pin with good contact.Unlike my cheaper one

Could not manage without it
My previous charging cradle for the htc desire hd was a great way to keep the phone charged and to know where it was. It was like putting your dect phone back on its charger, an easy habit to acquire. But it was a bit flimsy, so I was delighted to see this one on the mobile fun site and can confirm that it does the same job just as well, is much more robust, looks better on my desk and is easier to dock with the phone. Highly recommended to any htc desire hd owner (which by the way is a very good phone).

HTC Desire HD Desktop Cradle/Charger
I placed my order for my desktop cradle from this site on Friday evening, at around 5pm, and it arrived the next morning on Saturday. So thumbs up to Mobile fun for being true to their word on delivery times, and for the fast turnaround (the fastest I've experienced with standard class postage delivery system!)
The product: It is a 'Kidigi' branded desktop cradle. The very same product is on sale at Expansys for around the same price (except it has 'Expansys' written on the front face of the cradle instead of 'Kidigi'). The product image on this site is also slightly misleading in that it doesn't actually show this branding on its front face of the cradle, or the led blue light.
What you get: The product comes in three separate parts; The cradle, a USB to micro USB cable, and a USB mains charger plug.
Points that the product description on this site fail to mention:
1. The USB cable is one metre length long, which for my needs is short, but so was the original HTC USB charger cable that came with my phone (the TC B250).
2. The USB mains plug has an output of 500mA which is sufficient for charging, but won't be as fast at charging as the original TC B250 charger (which has 1000mA output). Also, you probably won't be able to use your phone whilst it's being charged by this plug (as it has been extensively covered from other reviewers below). So the best combination is to connect the desktop cradle to your original HTC fast charger plug.
Other things to consider is that you won't be able to use the cradle if you have any phone covers on, or you'll have to take them off prior to charging; The cradle is a tight fit.
I feel it could also do with a bit more weight in its base. Apart from that, it is a good piece of kit and supports the phone very well.

Great quality accessory
This cradle fits the HTC Desire HD perfectly. The quality and finish is superb and matches the HTC Desire HD. It is sturdy and well weighted to give a robust holder for your phone. Comes complete with USB cable and mains charger.
Would definitely recommend. Might even get another one for myself!

Base works well but ditch the supplied charger
Hold the phone snugly. Looks good on the table, especially in photo frame mode. Annoying having to remove the phone case each time I want to charge it.
Disappointing not to have an audio out for full docking ability (my last HTC one did). Limits its use as I can't plug a speaker in.
Supplied charger caused random screen actions. Made the phone unusable in the charger. Switching to the better quality one supplied with the phone fixed that.
So good base, useless power supply.

Perfect for overnight charging
I use this on the bedside table so that I can see the screen whilst it charges up overnight and now don't have to pick the phone up to dismiss the alarm. It has sufficient weight and non-slip feet to remain stable and keeps the charging cable tidy. Noting other reviews, I warily tried the supplied charger but it works fine for me, 0. 5a more than enough overnight.

Handy piece of kit to have especially on the bed side table. Just place your hand set in and it charges it easily. Small and nice looking. Easy to use. Only problem is that sometimes doesn't let you unlock the hand set while on.

HTC desktop cradle.
At last a sensibly made cradle, as most htc hd owners know the phone is large and a little on the heavy side so we need a cradle that unlike most on the market that give no support to the body of the phone. The kidigi desktop cradle is made to hold the phone snuggly with a back support one third the length of your phone, a great product, in fact the best.

HTC Desk Cradle
Have been very pleased with this item. Comes with USB cable to connect to your PC and a separate charger as well! Also it does not mute sound when the phone is in it, so you can hear the phone ring. However holding a telephone conversation by the phones speaker is not ideal, so best to remove from cradle. If your phone has a case, you have to remove it to fit in the cradle, but no big deal.

Perfectly good
Very good stand that the desire hd fits nice and snuggly into. The blue power led is also similarly subtle. What i did find though the first time i put it in is the screen went a bit mad and wouldn't listen too my screen commands. This is a, probably, dangerous side affect of the awful mains usb plug which comes with it that is only rated at 500mah. what i recommend is that you use the original htc plug which is rated at a 1000mah. Once i changed plug the phone behaved itself and charged quicker to.

Good dock, but needs original charger.
Looks great, the handset fits snugly and feels sturdy.
When I first used it with the included charger it would start making random actions and not accept input. Easy fix though - use your original HTC Desire HD charger and USB cable.
Recommended unless you don't have your original charger. The dock itself is perfect!

Does what it says on the tin...
"Desire HD Desktop Sync and Charge Cradle"
Well, it's a cradle that sits on your desk. You plug a cable into the back of it and plug the other end into an adapter, then into the mains, or into a USB port on your PC.
This charges, and assuming you plugged it into a USB port on your PC, allows you to sync.
Simples.
Desire HD fits in snugly, and the screen is held at a jaunty angle so it's easy to read. Nothing more to say really!
Oh, it has a blue light on the front with a picture of a lightning bolt. I assume this means it's plugged in, and not that lightning is imminent.

Does what it says on the tin...
Not much to say really...plug & play device that works well and holds phone snugly. I suppose I could add that it looks nice (if that turns you on) and I only gave it 4* because the first one had a damaged USB port and the replacement has a charge indicator light that no longer works but life's too short to send it back for that!

Well made piece of kit, no wobbling around trying to find the connection, the phone slots neatly into the cradle giving you an atractive flush desk top charger with a small blue power led, plus it allows the use of your original USB lead to be left connected to your PC for data transfers.

Doesn't fit if you have a case
It's a tight fit even when the phone is bare. I used mine for a day before giving it to a colleague as I think long term use would result in it wearing against the sides of the case.
Overall it did what it was supposed to but for the price I'd expected something a bit, well, better.
Giving it a 3, it did what it was meant to but not a lot else.

Good Cradle
The build quality is good and the HTC Desire HD fits very well. I would have given this a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the fact that there is a large white manufacturer logo on the front of the cradle. This is not shown on the website photo. Also, the more the phone is put in and out, it has started to leave scratches on the cradle.

Excellent addition for my HTC HD
When you are looking to purchase accessories, you tend to look at the feed back others buyers leave, to give you an idea of what to expect if you buy the item. The feed back on this was all good so I went ahead and purchased one on the stregnth of this. I couldn't be more delighted with this desktop docking cradle, it does the job perfectly, fits like a glove & is very sturdy too. I am thinking of purchasing a seccond one so I can have one next to my bed and one attached to my laptop.
Excellent quality & would highly reccomend.

Perfect, just perfect.
There is absolutely nothing about this phone cradle / charger that I would change. It has pride of place on my desk. The phone fits perfectly in the cradle but just have a care when placing it there. You'll need two hands to get it out because the fit and connection are so good, and the cradle, although light in weight, is very stable. All of the features of the phone can be used while it is in the cradle so why look any further, this cradle / charger is ideal.

Great cradle!
This cradle looks great and holds the phone really well. All you want!
Plus there's the place for the second battery which is covered so it doesn't spoil the look.
As for the issue of the sound being a bit lower due to it thinking the headphones are plugged in I really haven't found this a problem.
Just be sure to be a bit gentle putting the phone in and out to begin with but after a while it just goes in no problem.

Robust, well made, mostly very good
I searched for a cradle which would be robust and stable and eventually found this on the MobileFun website. It was out of stock. I left a request for an email when it was back in stock. The email arrived some days later, the goods were delivered the day after I placed the order, packaging excellent.
I bought two cradles one for home, one for work. They meet the standard - well made, robust, good non-slip feet, excellent fit. Charging from mains and laptop both work well. The USB connexion is not always good enough for sync though - I need to press down very firmly to have a chance of sync working.

Perfect for my needs
This cradle is just perfect for the Desire HD. It is solid and stable allowing you to use the device's touch screen easily. The device won't even move when touching the screen.
The Desire HD mic is covered while on the cradle, but if you use a bluetooth headset, you are just fine.
The 3.5mm jack is covered too (in case you want to plug in a pair of earphones to use the radio).

Excellent quality and value for money
This PDA cradle is very well manufactured and has an excellent finish as well as stability. The HTC Desire HD drops nicely on to the connection without difficulty and sits securely in the cradle providing an excellent connection. I would not have expected any manufacturer to attempt to build a cradle to accommodate the device with a case on since there are too many different cases out there. All in all, a very good product at a sensible price.

Neat, unfussy, good fit
Just what it should be - minimalist, unobtrusive, good fit to the phone. I haven't tried the charger (always USB connected). Only minor point is that whilst the phone is nicely held when inserted, the alignment of the phone during insertion is not as controlled as with, for example, a brodit car holder. This means you need to be slightly careful not to damage the usb connection. If you are even moderately careful with your kit I doubt you'll have a problem (I haven't and don't think I will) but if you're ham-fisted another option might be better!

Stylish
This charger is a closer, better fit to the phone than some others, which makes inserting the phone very much easier, but makes it much harder to grab'n'go.
The base has some mass, which is good, so when operating the phone in the cradle, it doesn't move around, and the angle is slightly shallower than many other cradles making it easier to see and touch.
Having a separate charger (it comes with a USB A to Micro B data cable and a "Lupo" style mains adapter) means that you can use your computer (or indeed a non-UK charger if abroad).
The labelling on the outside of the box is a scream, taken directly from those heady days when the Far East first experimented with the idea of writing English.
This is probably the best "office" style charger for the Desire HD, butmaybe not so good for a bedroom or "grab and go" environment.

Perfect Accessory
A perfect match for the Desire HD, it looks good either on a desk or bedside cabinet. I personally use it to charge the phone overnight, so the cradle remains on my bedside cabinet all the time. Even without the phone connected, it does not look out of place. If I had one minor gripe it is that I have to remove the phone from the cradle to cancel the alarm (at least it guarantees I'm awake)

Poor plugged-in
I bought two of these cradles, one for the desk for syncing with my PC and one for the bedroom for charging overnight. Over a USB connection, all is well, but when plugged in, the capacitive touchscreen becomes unusable and has at times caused erratic behaviour. It seems to be selecting things on screen even when not being touched, and touching with a finger is very unpredictable. I'd return them if I could be bothered. They also have some tacky branding and a pointless LED which stays on all the time, which is not featured in the product image on the website.

The HTC Desire HD battery does need charging regularly, we would all agree. This is the solution. Saves messing with cables and automatic sync.
My only grouch is that i have a skin on the phone and the cradle is so tight that you have to take the skin off to put it on the phone on the cradle. Give me a bit more slack next time please.

Covers Microphone
As the phone's mic is on the underside of the handset - something you'd think the designers would have taken account of - you can't use the phone whilst it's in the cradle for a hands-free call on speakerphone, as people on the other end can't hear you.
What a pain to have to take the handset out of the cradle to make or receive a call.
