OtterBox for Dell Streak Impact Series

I feel so much more comfortable knowing my Dell Streak is protected against damage. The surround fits well and protects the device against accidental falls and knocks. My only complaint is that it no longer fits into my car holder so I have to take the surround off which I can do quite easily so it's still fine.

I can say the Otterbox gives you piece of mind on phone security. the Otterbox back also has grip friendly surface. the design is just right.

Exactly what I required. Well made product and much better than the previous silicone cover. The packaging was rather extravagent but nice that it also came with a screen protector.

The Otterbox case covers the rear and sides of the Dell Streak 5. It does not cover the front, so this is not a case for use in your pocket. However it is a solidly protective case for use indoors. All features are accessible. It does not impede use of the home/settings/back buttons. I would not risk carrying my Streak around without a case, even indoors, because there is just too much risk of damage, courtesy of gravity. If you get a Streak, and don't yet have a case, you will have instantly found the same concern. For taking the device outdoors (as a phone, albeit in need of large pockets), I bought a Tuff-Luv leather flip case, which is also very good, and provides sufficient protection while the phone is in a front pocket (but heaven forbid that anyone put a Streak in their back pocket and sit down). I would use the Tuff-Luv case all the time if I could, but it hinders access to the home button, requiring multiple attempts to get it to respond, something that is NOT a problem with the Otterbox case. It would be great if someone could come up with a case that is satisfactory on all accounts, but we wait in hope. I am giving the Otterbox case only 4 stars because it is not particularly suitable for outdoor use (as it does not cover the screen). But in all other respects it is a top quality case.

Fantastic product, even came with screen cover and wipe and fits the dell streak perfect. Would deffo recomend this product to anyone using this phone.

Dearer than some other rubbercases but the quality is great & its thick enough to protect it from a substantial drop. Well pleased with it.

I love my Dell Streak but like all mobile tech it needs to be protected and it has one Achilles heel, when dropped, the case back can pop off. The OtterBox Impact Series has solved both of these problems in one fell swoop. It fits like a glove, a great product.

I bought the Dell Streak because it seemed to be the only tablet phone which was pocketable. This has proved to be true provided you have a big pocket. Unfortunately the Otterbox, whilst a good product in its own right, makes the phone too big for any of my pockets and nearly doubles the weight. It would be good for anyone carrying the phone in a bag or briefcase.

Makes my Dell Streak look like a new all phone. Totaly protected and easy to clean with a great grip makes Streak feel like the most powerful mobile phone in the palm of your hands. Feel difrent feel the best.

Being a person who likes to look after their gadgets, I am always on the look out for both a durable and effective case. The streak is unfortunately a fragile product when unprotected, due to the amount of real estate that the glass takes up, which caused me to be ultra precious with it. But, once housed within this case, I treat it like I would any other phone. Yes, the case does make it much more bulky, but if I was concerned about overall footprint of the phone then I would have chosen something else in the first place. If you want to protect your streak, then you can't go wrong with this case. A must have accessory.

Great grip great look . This is total protection and makes my dell streak look like the most powerful machine in the market and makes me difrent from everyone else.if u love your dell u got to get one .u gonna love the difrence.

This is a great cover for people who want "real" protection and don't a bit of extra bulk. The thick rubber surround gives a really nice grip. The physical buttons (volume, power etc) are easy to access and protected by thick (sealed) rubber covers. It actually makes it easier to hold the phone up to my ear (but I have got big hands and a big head otherwise it would look silly). The only downside that I've found so far is that the included screen protector is the worst fingerprint magnet that I've ever seen (much worse than the unprotected screen)... maybe that's common with all screen protectors... this is my first.

This version of the Otterbox was purchased due to the fact that many people have broken their Dell Streak by dropping it. At least the otterbox cover hopefully will prevent this happening to my unit. It really takes up no more room in my pocket and tends to stop it slipping when holding it or removing it from clothing. Will probably buy another for my second Streak!

A bargain for the price. Not only is the cost far more reasonable when compared against other brands (including the 'official' line) the quality is good. It fits my Dell Streak perfectly, but remains quick and easy to remove when connecting to my car holder. Otterbox have done a great job.

The only case ive found made from silicone, which I prefer. The case is a snug fit with a lightly nobbly texture to the back which seems to act like the anti-slip mats you can get for car dashboards. The volume , camera and power buttons are covered over with little molded buttons(which line up fantastic). The cut-outs for the cameras,speaker etc are only as big as they need to be. My case also comes with a screen protector ,which does just what it says on the tin. The only negatives I can think of are : the case pretty much doubles the depth of the streak, and secondly otterbox packaging is totally over the top,so big it cant be posted through the letterbox.
