Blackberry 9800 Brodit Active Car Kit

Brodit have done a very good job with this carkit and it functions exactly as one would expect. The smartphone slides into the cradle from the right to allow it to snuggly fit the USB plug. My only quibble with many of these designs is the size of the plug that fits into the cigarette lighter socket. There appears to be a great variation in the market-place with some quite neat offerings - whilst others look more like an in-house lighthouse. The Brodit comes highly recommended for doing the job for which it is intended and would score a 95 out of 100.
