Nokia CR-122 Car Holder

Used the suction cup to fix to the windscreen to hold my E7 in sat-nav mode while on holiday in France. Still stuck there after 2 weeks without a problem. Holds phone firmly but with easy release. The locking mechanism is a bit difficult to access when the phone is in position but that is my only quibble. Nokia quality costs but it's worth it.

Bought this to use with my Nokia E7. Really good fix to windscreen, easy to adjust. Spring opening and closing easy to use and hold phone really firmly. Can use with phone closed and open too. Much better than other products.

Purchased this late Thursday night and it arrived Saturday which is good. I found that it was difficult to turn and lock the carrier to the holder. It would jam and would not turn the second time I used it. After a few operations it has improved but still a bit difficult to turn sometimes. I chose to use the dash pad as the windscreen on my Honda Civic MK7 Type S is quite a distance away for a short armed driver. On the day that I applied the pad it was very hot so it activated the adhesive well and stuck very well to the dash, just above the centre vents. The top of the dash has a slight front to back curve so I was a little concerned that the HH-20 unit may not grip and seal against the pad but this fear seems to have been allayed, although it's early days.The roads I travel to work on are pretty awful in places and even though the Nokia N8 does sometimes vibrate on the 20 mile journey, due to the rubber mounting it has not become detached even with the quite hard ride of the Honda. I will only be using the cradle if I need to use the Sat Nav on my N8. I use the hands free all the time through my Pioneer DVD player but rest the phone by the ashtray, which is a safe place to put it and there's less worry of it falling. Incidentally, I use the Nokia CC-1005 cover on my N8 and it fits onto the carrier without a problem. Just make sure that the case is not pulled out of shape when securing the phone to avoid possible stretching of the silicone case. Price wise, its a bit expensive but no more than what TomTom charges for similar bits of kit. It can be purchased cheaper elsewhere but I wanted a guarantee that it was a genuine Nokia part so paid the higher price for peace of mind and quality of service.

This car holder pack for my nokia n8 is simple yet really effective, looks good and works extremely well for the purpose it was intended for, I would strongly recommend it, however, I have only just started to use it so dont know if it will stand the test of time, like the ball and socket joint loosening up with no way of tightening it up, but there are no indications to say that it wont at the moment.

Well made and solid tool. A bit fiddly to remove phone when in upright position, but it holds the phone securely, and is easy to use. It could do with a lock to keep it in the set position.

The perfect holder for the N8. The suction pad locks to the windscreen and the N8 slips into place easily, and is easily retrieved. Can also be locked into place if needed.

I bought this item based on reviews I read about it. This product works very well and also comes with a base for dashboard mounting - something that a SatNav of a certain make charges extra for. Overall I like it and I would probably buy it again. I do like to buy a Branded make and Nokia seems to make good stuff.

Alright, there are cheaper car kits on the market, but this one is made to measure for the N8. Fitting it to the screen was a breeze and now it's there, it's there for good. The phone fits perfectly, as you would expect and all the buttons and connectors are available should you need to charge the phone in situ. Top quality materials and an excellent fit and finish. Worth every penny.

This has to be the best mobile phone car holder ever. Well made, very strong limpet-like suction to the screen, perfect fit for the phone, good range of adjustment.

Another great product from Nokia. A great idea to include the adhesive pad to mount on a flat surface. It is more useful to mount on my dashboard than my windscreen. The holder itself is easy to use. Unlock the switch and the mount expands along the length allowing the phone to be easily placed into the holder. Move the switch to lock and the phone is totally secure. A well made holder that does not move making the phone easy to use and the sat nav easy to read. Much better than cheaper models with elastic arms that bounce all over the place. If you have a Nokia phone use Nokia accessories, they are worth every penny!

Good little Phone holder, the suction cup does work loose after a couple of days, So just checked before you stick your phone in the holder,Good bit of kit!!

The car mount holder for n8 is very good. Fast turn windscreen release. And well made.

The above is ideal for both using sat/nav built into phone or having it in the car where you can see if anybody is ringing or an messages. Good idea.
