Emergency power
This is just what iphone users need. When using apps which use gps the internal battery sometimes struggles to last long enough. Just switch to the charging case and you've easily got another 70% battery life. The case is not bulky so hardly know its attached.

I bought my case a week ago and love it. I used to have to look to top up my i-phone 4 battery but now i leave the house with a full phone and fully charged case and i arrive home with juice to spare. I showed it to a friend who bought one for fishing trips. Considering my normal plastic case was only three pounds cheaper this is a bargain!!! So if you use your phone as much as i do this is a no brainer! Delivered next day too!!!

I wanted this for my sons i-phone and it does exactly what it says in the description. It is a life saver for the geek of a son I have who lives and dies by his i-phone and could not do without this product that extends the battery just when needed at festivals, weekends away or just staying out overnight at friends. It now means he does not have to carry a charger everywhere and the case itself is very stylish and does not look any different to any other i-phone case.

Perfect!
This gadget is awesome, it charges both and will double the battery at the very least! It uses a universal blackberry port but due to its design will still work with iTunes. I honestly would pay treble for a gadget as good as this

Brilliant for festivals
Bought this just before glasto 2011 and it worked perfectly. It won't keep your phone charged for 5 days straight, but if you're turning your phone on and off throughout a festival, this is brilliant to keep it topped up. Also a nice protective case too for when you don't need to re-charge your phone.

Handy piece of kit
Nice & grippy smooth rubberised casing. Bulks up the phone slightly, to be expected with a built in battery. The built in battery comes in useful when far away from a charging point. Easy to fit and good quality finish.

I have found it impossible to fit my iPhone 4G into the item so I don't even know how well it performs.

a charging case - just the job
I have been umming and arring for some time about getting a case for the iphone 4 and then i saw this item - brilliant.
It bulks the phone up slightly which is a shame but at the same time i have found this invaluable and well worththe added bulk - especially as you can charge the phone and connect to the pc through it and the fact that it has a switch means that it can be used litterally as a spare battery (an item sadly lacking for the iphone) when using the battery you need to keep the phone on a fairly flat even surface as i have found the connection a little sensitive but other than that this is an A1 product - i thouroughly recommend it.

I would say every iPhone 4 user should have one keeps your phone in good nick and full battery back up cheers

Takes its place in the line
This is my third alternative power source for my iPhone 4 and the one which is the most robust in use. Everything else has a plug designed by someone who never leaves home with the iPhone (so why do they need a battery pack?). If they DID, the long, sticky-out, wobbly plug would either break off or at least come adrift. THIS one is as robust as heck in that regard, AND a pretty good phone case, AND the additional power is switchable. You can tell how it's charging, you can tell how full it is, and you can switch it on and off. Short of a bench test it is hard to be certain - but a doubling of usable time is a fair claim, and should improve with a few cycles. There may be a reason for its querky USB lead, but as long as you remember it you can charge from any USB source - both phone and backup battery at the same time, and sync the phone at the same time as well. 10/10, guys
