You can feel the quality as you unpack this cradle, with its leather effect surround. The phone sits more upright than most other docks, and is ideal at a bedside or on a desk. I use it to charge the phone whilst listening to music on speakers attached to phone. All phones controls are still to hand whilst sat on the cradle.

It's a very nice looking cradle that functions as you would expect, my only criticism is that it's difficult to remove the phone using one hand.

First off, the delivery time was incredible, ordered it 4 pm one day, received the next day at midday. It is well constructed and solid. Fits the HTC Desire well, bit stiff on initial insertion but goes in fine and holds the phone securely. Looks nicer than a lot of the other docs I have seen. The rubbery base stops the dock from sliding all over the place. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This cradle is incredibly well made for the money. It is perfect for anyone who wants an easy charging option that makes your phone look good whilst doing so. If, like me, you have a phone cover, the cradle will not allow for drop-in connection. You will need to peel back the cover to reveal the original phone. Not too much of an issue for most people, but I found it too much of a bother and slightly damaging to the screen protector seal. Perhaps the clever bods who manufacture this product could revise the holder to accept the phone with or without its case. Then they would have a real winner!

This item is a hard one to review for me as I have a FlexiShield Skin on my HTC Desire. This means removing it each time I want to use the cradle. Despite creating accidental button presses this would not be a problem, but the removal of the skin disturbs the screen protector and I spend more time resealing it to the phone screen. Because of this, I do not think I will be using the cradle and, because it arrived in a plastic retail-style packet which I had to cut open, I cannot now return it. Lessons learned. It is a very nice looking cradle though, great quality.
