Does what it says on the tin

I just wanted a simple charger and stand for my HTC and that's exactly what this product is. It would be neater if the connection was built into the bottom of the stand, but that's a design issue for HTC.

Okay but........

This stand for the Wildfire is fine except that the charging port for the Wildfire is on the side of the phone and not on the end. Because of this the stand has a short lead which needs to be plugged in instead of a fixed socket that the phone just fits onto. The stand is not really the problem, the phone is. What I would like to see is a dock that holds the phone horizontal and has a fixed charging port. However, perfection is to be desired, not necessarily delivered!

Nice unit

Does exactly what it says but if your phone has a skin case fitted, it will need to sit a bit sideways in the cradle. That is no problem. The phone is easily knocked over though and needs to be located in a safe area. Looks good and functions well.
