Seidio Convert Rugged Case for iPhone 4S / 4

Working as a carpenter in the building trade I feared mubiphone would end up smashed. Nearly two years later it's as good as new. This case is awesome. Slightly bulky but then hey, it protects it. Strips down to a nice slim line evening case. I've had three of these in two years. Only fault is that I keep catching the holster and snapping off the hinge to the belt clip. Excellent product.

After weeks of trawling through reviews for rugged phone cases I finally plumped for the seido product. I work in the construction industry and knowing how clumsy I can be wanted a phone case that offered the best heavy duty cover for the week at work but also a sleek semi hard case for weekend/ social use. I could not find many reviews for this product but what I did find seemed to be all good so I took a punt and bought it. After four weeks use I am extremely pleased with this product as it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Good solid case, build quality good although the camera lens cover is starting to tear after minimal (less than 20) operations. Also the bump on the back of the lens cover (which holds it out of the way when open) sits proud on the back meaning the phone won't lay properly flat on its back. Not a major concern but worth a mention. Very good impact protection, especially when in the holster, but dust/lint does get in. Speaker and mic grilles are recessed but not covered so don't count on any ingress protection at these points. Would be nice if the belt clip could be removed from the holster - this might get modded on mine quite soon...

This product has surpassed my expectations. I was after a case that would protect my IPhone whilst I work outdoors. This case fulfils this requirement and more. I hadn't appreciated that it comprises a perfectly adequate inner rubber skin that provides a good level of protection. This protection can then be "boosted" by an outer rubberised cover that protects all of the ports on the phone but retains the dexterity required to operate the controls. A plastic skeleton can be further added that provides additional protection. A belt clip holder is also included. With all of the cases fitted the phone is obviously more bulky but when you consider the level of protection provided this is not an issue. The only other minus point is that the level of screen protection could be better with only an acetate type screen protection film included.

I have a principle in life: Buy the best available & once you have got it look after it. So when I got my iPhone 4S I started to look for a case that would take a good care of the new shiny baby. I am a builder and joiner by profesion as well as a carer for 13 year old daughter with learning disabilities. I needed a case that would protect the phone while coping with the dust, water & mortar coated gloves, hazards that are inherent in my job as a builder & joiner. I also need a easy access to my phone when my daughter rings as she becomes exteremely panicky if I dont pick up the phone within couple of rings. I like to buy from MobileFun as their web site is not only thoughfully designed but also is exteremly user friendly. Many of the products are complimented by product videos which I think are very useful for making the buying decision. The market is full with 1000s of iPhone cases but choosing the one I wantyed was not difficult, thank you to the MobileFun website. The Seido iPhone case does the job of protection & accessibilty with perfection. First of all it offers 3 layers of 'skin' on the body of the phone which makes the phone resistant to damage due to drops. The case comes with it's own screen protector. Despite the 3 layers the case is not very bulky, it fits snugly with the phone without damaging the clean and staright characteristic look of the iPhone design. The case is not 100 % waterproof, meaning it will not protect the phone if you were to drop it into a bucket full of water but, it will certainly protect if it were exposed to a shower of rain. Access to all the buttons & ports is easy. The case fits snuggly into the belt holder & ergonomically designed clip on the belt holder gives access to the phone with out any fumbling & fiddling. For people who want to provide maximum protection for their iPhone I would strongly recommend this case.

I purchased this case for my boyfriend who is a engineer. He needed a strong case which would protect his iphone from drops, bumps and scrapes. This case is perfect for the job. Its strong, well made, quality and you can use the case in a few different ways too. The rugged holster combo is exactly that, RUGGED - A bit like my boyfriend actualy :) Highly recommend this product

This iphone 4s cover is the hummer of phone covers. Looks indestructable. Only niggles are the flaps that cover the charger port ( which is awkward as I am constantly taking the phone on and off my belkin hands free } and the camera lens ( im always forgetting to remove it ) so I have cut them both off and am now very happy with the result.

This is a great case for my iphone 4s. I am a convert from using otterbox. This not only really protects your phone but has coolness by its design that even gives you the option to reduce the layers of protection for those times when you want a slicker feel and look. Well done Siedio.

Brilliant case. Both the inner and outer cases are very high quality. When only in the inner case, all ports and buttons are easily accessible, as is the camera. When the exterior 'rugged' case is also on, everything is accessible, although using the headphone jack is a bit fiddly, but nothing more than that - it is perfectly usable. A particularly good aspect is the camera cover, which offers covers and protects completely when in place, can be pulled back and secured into the small hole in the poly-carbonate shell, which means you can use the camera without the faff of having to hold the cover away from the lens as seems to be the case with some other rugged type cases. As for the holster, I don't use it myself, but the build quality is again, excellent. All in all a great product and well worth the money.

This item is fantastic. Yes it makes your phone look massive, and unlike a sleek object of desire that anyone will want to steal (well until you take the outercasing off and reveal the inner case at which point all bets are off). In the last week: I dropped it as soon as I put it on my phone - it survived I fell off my bike with it clipped to my belt and landed on it - not a scratch I fell headfirst into gravel (this would be where the clutz component comes in) and there are minor scratches to the plastic and the phone is perfectly unharmed. It's amazing. The only improvement I could think of is to make it fully waterproof, because frankly I like preparing for any eventuality as sooner or later they all seem to happen to me. Also it feels very nice and solid in a fisher price sort of way and is damn cheap at this price. It's also been admired by an electrician, a climber and a professional events putter-upper. If you value looks over functionality probably steer clear - actually just buy the innercase, but if you're rappelling off a cliff any time soon then my friend you are in luck

After buying this rugged case I have experienced the best iPhone protector out there on the market, it is amazing how much protection this case gives your precious iPhone because that's what iPhones are, precious and costly. I have met a few people with broken screens that would've bought this in a heartbeat if they had known that their screens were going to be broken, but they dint have such protection but I do now, and it's learning from others mistakes that I make sure it does not happen to me. If you want to protect your precious iPhone look no further for this is the ultimate protector. Get it while your phone is still looks good....

For protecting your phone when in manual work you couldn't get better than this.

This is the best case that I've got and used for the iPhone. Protects it from all most any thing. I'll defiantly give it a 9/10.

Keeps your expensive iphone4 safe and sound with a full protective rubber case, and for the weekend a smaller inner case, which can be used when mounting the phone in an in-car holder. Good build quality, belt clip can be a bit obtrusive when sitting down. Overall an excellent product.

This is a great case and extremely robust which is ideal in any workshop enviroment etc.. The belt clip is great and it is almost impossible for it to come off! Whilst the main case is bulky, I remove this at weekends and use the inner lightweight cover which isn't much bigger than the phone itself!

If your looking to look after youe iphne in a hard working enviroment this is the case for the job good strong and safe.

If you are in the building game, and want an iphone, this puts your mind at rest. Superb case come skin come spine come holster. Only downside is its a bit chunky when together, but hey...love your iphone....look after it. This will.
