Fantastic and EASY smartphone
This phone is very easy to use, you only have to customize it. Most of the annoying stuff on the screen, did I throw in the bin, so what I don't use does not bother me anymore. What I like is the last or most used apps are first on the screen when you push the home button, so you don't have to scroll through all icons in the large menu, when you tap the O on the screen. Al downloaded apps have their own icon in the large menu. So I don't have to search were they are, like in my Blackberry Bold. You can customize a lot in the phone and just like any touchscreen phone you have to adjust it to your tapping. The software for your computer makes it very easy to add contacts, music, pictures, themes and what so ever to your phone. It's very fool-proof, a lot easier than RIM's desk top manager for your Blackberry. Most items are drag-and-drop. When you not use GPS, because you don't need it, you can turn it off, so it don't uses your battery. Just turn it om in an easy menu, when you need it. And the size, I love it, when not flipped out it does not take a lot of space in your bag or pocket. The screen is enough for reading your mail or looking youtube. I purchased his phone because the price is low and I want to take time, whether I want the newest Blackberry or not. But maybe I keep this one and change my subscription to a lower priced one. And, for the ones who love stuff like twitter, facebook a.s.o., this is the perfect phone for a pleasant price!

Not as good as it looks
I ordered this phone as a replacement for a very slow Blackberry, but was disappointed with what I got. The phone itself was light and easy enough to use, but I found the touch screen ultra sensitive, opening unwanted applications when I was rotating the screen thus draining the battery without me realising. The battery life was quite poor and required charging every night, although I know that this is common with most smartphones. The rotating screen was awkward to use one handed and therefore made answering the phone difficult when carrying shopping (you are unable to answer a call without rotating the screen). All in all I think looks wise the phone is a winner but pehaps better for younger users, and the android operating system is straightforward to use once you know how, however I found the multiple home screens annoying and the small screen made playing some applications difficult if not impossible. I have since purchased an HTC Wildfire which I found much easier to use and purchase case protection for, (there are no cases available for the flipout and it is too wide for conventional phone socks). Sorry to put it down Motorola but not your best invention, really just a bit of a gimmick!
