What you expect
This product suits my desire well, the cradle is well designed and my desire will happily fit into and any space around it is unnoticeable.The look is stylish and has a nice gloss look to it, however if I was to be picky about this item, i would say the plastic is somewhat thin and the product has a cheap feel to it, but as long as you don't touch it, you won't notice it. The extra battery slot is a bonus though so far unused, will become useful after buying another battery from this website.
Overall i will give this item a 4 as the product looks good and does it's job well but lacks in the feel when compared to the look.

great item! excellent quality
I bought this with the intention of also buying a spare battery to avoid the issue of having to keep charging my HTC desire. I have to say that I was wary about how well the phone was going to sit in the cradle, but I was pleasantly surprised. The phone actually sits quite snug within the cradle and there's barely any movement, its quite secure, I don't worry about it wobbling about. The spare battery also fits very snug in the covered compartment. No issues with getting the battery out or in of the compartment as there's a little flap to pull to lift the battery out once it's charged. The overall look of the cradle is nice, it looks neat, sophisticated and it makes my desk look tidier and more professional. There's a rather bright LED on the front which is blue when both the phone and/or battery are fully charged, this is ok in the day time but I do find it rather bright at night. Other than that this product is exactly what I wanted. Well worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Exactly what I wanted!!
This cradle is brilliant. You can charge directly from the mains or via a laptop/pc usb. It charges your phone and spare battery! (Which is a must if you're glued to your phone like me!). Have recommended this product and website to all my HTC user friends as service was really quick too. This is the third HTC cradle I've bought and I've FINALLY got what I want!

HTC Desire Dock/Cradle thingy
Fantastic piece of kit, really fits in well with a modern bedroom.
Only complaint is that when you connect the dock to your computer, you need the mains adapter and the USB data line plugged in for the charging to work (while syncing), rather then it taking power from the USB data line.

Perfectly formed
An excellent, stable, visually appealing cradle. Charges quickly and makes a synchronisation connection with my PC without any fuss to the 'HTC Sync' software. The compartment to charge up a spare battery is a bonus in this well-made piece of kit that I now find essential.

Stylish looking and easy to use, I don't think I could have chosen a better charger. When choosing a charging stand I looked through the reviews and noted that some people said that it was stiff to stand your phone in but from my experience it becomes more flexible with more use and hasn't misshapen the connection so it is unable to plug in to other chargers. I have yet to use the additional battery charger but if it is as successful as the rest of the unit then I do not expect there to be a problem.

Deluxe HTC Desire Desktop Charging Cradle.
There is no doubt that the HTC Desire just eats battery power so a spare charged battery is a must. This is not the first desktop charger that I have had but it is the best by far with both power and computer connections. The charge light is clear and distinctive looks just finish it off perfectly. 5 Stars. No problem.

Great product.
Works well, well made, comes with its own mains charger and two USB leads; one for charging and one for PC connection (which also charges phone, but not spare battery - mains charger does both). I'm glad I chose this product.

Looks good & does the job
This desktop charger works well and looks good. It charges the spare battery, which given the dreadful battery life on this great phone, I really needed.
Only criticism is that due to having a phono output the phone sound is muted if not plugged into speakers.

Does what it says on the tin.
Excellent for the bedside instead of my normal clock - still plays the alarm despite automatically changing to headset mode. Bit fiddly to remove from the cradle, but that's the design of the phone connestions, not the cradle.
Top item and company - well recommended.

Bathed in blue light
I use this as a bedside night clock, alarm and nightly charge (very necessary on the Desire!)and it's great, just sits in the cradle without need for wires.
Only thing is the power light - big, blue, bright and always on and at night its dazzling.

This desktop cradle is perfect. I use it mostly for charging but twice a week to sync with outlook which is sooo easy with this. My phone never runs out of battery now!

Very handy
I was looking for a phone cradle that could charge a second battery at the same time as charging the phone, mainly for those summer days where I`m out and about and nowhere near a charger. Slip the spare battery in my pocket and I know the phone will be fine ALL DAY. This cradle does that and the plus point, its shiny black and sturdy (doesnt fall over) and doesnt look out of place on the bedroom cabinet. Excellent thouroughly recommended.

I choose this as I wanted to charge using a plug not a usb cable most of the time. Pity I have to take the phone out of its protective cover (although it's easy enough to do). Fits well, looks smart and is a great way to charge up a second battery. It's fast too.Once charged, I switch it off as it's a great base station to keep the phone and spare battery tidy and handy.

Worth the extra
I had bought a cheaper battery charger for my HTC, but found that it only ever charged my batteries to about 80%. So I decided to spend a bit more and bought this one. Worth the extra price as it works absolutely fine, fully charges both my normal HTC battery and my Seidio battery. Not tried charging both my phone and battery at the same time (as I rotate my batteries so always have a full one), but envisage it will work fine. The kit looks nice too and comes with it's own plug and leads, so I can keep my original HTC USB lead with my laptop for charging when away from home.

Spot on piece of kit
Having taken delivery of my HTC Desire I realised very quickly that charging the battery was going to be an everyday occurence. The charger that came with the phone does the job of charging really well but I didn't like the idea of the phone just lying on my desk. Too easy for it to be moved around and scratched.
Thought for a while about which type of charger to buy and almost put off this one because of the comments on difficulty to place the phone in nthe Charger. Yes the connection is firm but I think that can only be a good thing. Anyway, spoke to a chap on the phone and subsequently ordered the Charger on Wednesday. It arrived first post on Thursday. Excellent service from Mobile Fun that will be hard to beat.
Excellent charger and does exactly what I need a desk Charger to do. Holds and charges the phone whilst at the same time allowing the phone to be used. What more could you want?
No hesitation in recommending either the Charger or Mobile Fun.

mains adaptor quality problem
reasonable for the price...
but I have a big problem with the build quality of the supplied mains charger/adaptor - it broke apart in my hand while trying to unplug it from mains socket!
Just glad the mains was off at the socket as the plastic case cracked at the screw fixings and seperated exposing the bare cables inside.
The rest of the unit seems fine.
I was able to fit my extended battery in the charging section on the back which I was pleased with as the battery is the larger width kind.

A must have product
This is a must have product for your phone, does what it say's on the tin but be carefull when putting the phone into the cradle, make sure you align correctly or you may damage the phones usb socket.

Works a treat...
Great device, with an LED that doubles as a sun-lamp. Takes around 6 or 7 hours to charge, but as I use this as a bed-side alarm that's perfect. Loses 1 start for not being a micro-usb, but mini-usb connection.

Bit plasticky, but does the job
I like the design of these, but they could have used sturdier materials. I ended up snapping the cover off the 2nd battery bay, it was so nasty. Does the job though.

Quality charger with good charge time.
A good looking and solid charger. This has a decent weight to it and an upmarket gloss black finish. The LED is a long flush fitted indicator that shows Blue when a device is in and also indicates the status of the second battery under charge. Red - charge; Blue - full.
This status indicator, combined with the (included) 1.5A charger makes this a really useful desktop device. 1.5A capacity means that the charger has the power to charge both battery and mobile in good time and you can see when the battery is done. Certainly a lot better that relying on 2 USB cables (1 for mobile, 1 for charger) as some others do.
It also has a second input for data sync to PC, if desired. I don't use this as I have Active Sync push, so just use the one cable from the power unit.

This comes with a 3 pin plug, so can be used either off the mains or via a USB socket. Either which way it charges effectively and easily, and allows the phone and back-up battery to be charged together. The 'working' light is however quite bright, for those using it by the bed-side.

A good looking and really useful item. I use it over night to charge my phone and at the same time it is a clock and alarm clock. It comes with all the cables you need. I bought one for my son and was so impressed I bought another for myself.
My only wish is that the charger cable for the unit was the same fitting as the one that goes direct into the phone - that would make for easier travelling.

Not what it seems - doens't work very well.
Doesn't always work. I bought 2x Seidio batteries and this charger. It indicates that it's charged them, yet when you come to use them - you find they have no charge.
Putting the Seidio batteirs in the phone will charge them, but that negates the point of having a desk charger that will charge a spare battery.

I purchased this as I thought it looked nice and stylish
It seems to do a good job of charging
The only downsides to this are that you have to take of your mobile case/cover for it to fit into the charging slot and having to push the phone into the mini usb slot of the charger wondering over time it might cause damage to the phone..................apart from that though its a great piece of kit

Excellent piece of kit overall, there is two things that I don't like, but they are minor, the blue light on the front, if, as me, you use it on your bedside table, the light is very bright, but a little strip of electrical tape sorted that out. My other bugbear is it is really a snug fit, you have to remove any cover you have for it to fit. I know I'm repeating what others have said as read their reviews before buying. Other than that it is fantastic.

Phone angle is good for viewing, but blue power light is way too bright for night time. Overall good producr good price, but annoying blue light.

A great neat product. Looks good. Displays the phone nicely. Charges both both and spare battery. Blue/red light indicates the condition of both batteries. The only negative is that the handset needs to be very firmly pressed into the base to get an effective connection.

Surprisingly good
This is a surprisingly stylish charging stand of a very good quality albeit a bit of a finger print magnet. Only trouble is that you have to remove any skins/cases that the phone is in before it will fit. All that aside, the phone fits very snug in the provided slot and it's fully usable whilst it's charging. And you can charge a spare battery in a slot at the back at the same time Which given how power hungry the desire is it makes this stand a godsend. With the usual top quality service that I have recieved on EVERY occaision I have used Mobilefun I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the whole package to any one. More than happy !

A must have for all Desire owners
This stand adds another dimension to the HTC desire. Next to the bed, together with a good alarm app (Alarm Clock Plus), this now becomes your nightime companion.
The product is well built, robust, sleek and the slot for another battery gives the backup you need.

Good but not perfect
Just received this morning, very quick delivery. It actually looks like a nice bit of kit and my phone feels very secure in it although as previous reviews have stated it needs a hefty click to dock. It comes with a mains USB charger and 2 USB to mini USB cables so can easily be extended with USB extenders if not long enough. I am going to be using it as a bedside alarm clock so electrical tape will be going over the bright blue light.
The only reason I am not giving this the full 5 stars is that even when charging from the mains the Desire thinks its "Charging USB" (0.5A) so will take ages to actually charge (which shouldn't be much of a problem for me overnight) I would have expected this to report "Charging AC" (1A) as with the official HTC charger. Other than this niggle a very good, nice looking product and will come in handy for when I buy a 2nd battery as well.

Nice design, annoying light

Impressed firstly by how professional the company is & by the speedy delivery. The product itself is a nice desktop addition with a beautiful finish. The "desire" is one power hungry phone & with normal email & voice usage the battery is quickly drained. carrying a spare battery is almost a must. This device is great from this point of view as it can keep a spare battery ready. There is however the surprising feature..The unit has a charger that is fitted with a mini usb rather than a micro usb input. This eliminates the possibility of using the charger as a travel charger. This is contrary to the drive for uniformity that consumers want. Other than this matter I am very happy with the product & service & will use mobilefun again.

Great cradle
This makes a great cradle for your desire. Its a tight fit, at first I wasn't sure it fitted at all, but once you are used to it, it fits snugly.
I use it with a spare battery and the option to always have a battery charged is brilliant. Add to that its quite a nice looking cradle and its a great deal.
It can be used as just a charger or with a USB connection to your computer if you prefer.

Best quality desktop charger there is. Blue or red flashing light while charging is very annoying when standing next to your bed like mine...it lightens the entire room at night :-(

This item is absolutely fantastic.Its function is straightforward and its the only thing in common with other similar products. It looks and feels deluxe, and you can charge a spare battery at the same time as charging your phone. It is highly efficient and fully charges the phone (and your spare battery)in approx 45 minutes from flat. It not only charges the default battery itself, but also anyextended range capacities in the same time.There are no negatives to this model and the cost is well justified.

A great purchase - everything in one
The buying and delivery of the desktop charger was simple fast and very efficient. On arrival it was everything it said on the box. This fits and holds the phone solidly and well. This along with the spare battery is all I need to keep the power when I need it, charging everything in one place and time. Recommended to all users who need power at all times.

The product works well generally although I think describing it as deluxe is going a little far!
The plastic cover for the spare battery is both flimsy and fiddly to open or close but unless you're swapping batteries daily this is not too annoying.
My HTC Desire requires a hefty second push to locate the mini USB connection at the bottom for it to charge which makes me worry a little about snapping or breaking it with repeated use, although no problems so far. When I bought it I don't remember it being clear in the description that the USB connection for the computer and the power supply for the cradle are two separate leads. However the charge indicator light for the spare battery is a useful thing.
Over all (aside from the plasticky and fiddly battery cover) it is a neat desktop solution to keeping the phone and a spare battery charged.

Reasonably priced. looks good anywhere, at home or at work. Can charge spare battery using a 2nd USB cable (not provided) or use it to transfer data to computer. Phone sits nicely in cradle.

Decent HTC Desire Dock
The dock is reasonably well made and has a nice finish. The charging works great and it’s handy to have the extra battery slot at the back.
My biggest letdown with this dock was that I had originally intended to find a dock that would fit my HTC Desire WITH its rubber protector on. This looked like the only dock that would do that, however the groove at the bottom that the phone sits into is too tight to fit the phone with the rubber protector so I’m back to the drawing board of finding a dock that will let me do this.
I mean who wants to remove their phone protector to charge it each time... no one. I wish manufacturers would think of this.

Solid and stylish design
Solid and stylish, the gloss black stand with bright charging light looks good on my desktop. Mounting connector is also solid and docks the phone easily. Spare battery compartment closes shut for an integrated look. Unlike some chargers, it also comes with a power adaptor and spare micro USB cable. Happy to recommend.

I read the reviews before buying, so was expecting the plug-in connection to be more dodgy than it actually is. The device works well as a recharger - though it does have to be plugged into the mains: recharging not possible via the (separate) USB connection.

Just the Job
I recently purchased the Deluxe HTC Desire Desktop Charging Cradle and am very pleased that I did. Not being happy about having my Desire laying around on my desk I needed something that held it in such a position that it could be used without removing from the cradle. This item fits the bill exactly and using the speaker facility on the phone, can be used as a handsfree unit. Item was out of stock when I ordered it, but a little over a week later I received an email from Mobile Fun to say it had been despatched and it arrived the following day. Life doesn't get much better!

I very pleased with the cradle,is a nice looking product with the added rear slot for charging an extra battery. Be aware that when the cradle is plugged with the mains plug it lights up with quite a bright blue light which is not unattractive but might be too bright at night. This can be solved by using the USB cable instead and plugging it in with the USB Plug that comes with the phone. It's a tiny bit of a wiggle to slot the phone in, but this would be true of any cradle as the HTC has a smaller charging hole than a iPhone. Generally an excellent buy and fast delivery.

It's ok, but...
It certainly works, but...
The cord is way to short, reaches from the floor to my desk + about 300mm, not enough to reach from the back to the front of my desk.
Also, why is it so wide? The width of my phone would have been enough but it is more than half as wide again giveing it a footprint which seems way too big.
Full marks to MobileFun though, customer service was excellent. Order taking, communications and fullfilment each 10/10, well done!

Desire cradle
Good item but, if You are not in UK, remember that the plug does'nt fit Italian wall sockets. There are not further plugs into the package, only UK.

great item
So far I have been very impressed with this item. It looks good , has a small footprint but at the sometime can charge both your phone, a spare battery and sync with a computer. For me , at night I put my desire in desk clock mode , dock it and I now have a fully functioning bedside alarm clock while it charges my phone and spare battery! The phone fits flush with the cradle and you get all the necessary connectors . Overall , a very usefully accessory for your desire that won't break the bank .

Correction
I have to correct myself: I stated that supplying power solely through USB was ideal, but unfortunately USB power is too weak (it takes a lot longer for the battery to fully charge), so I had to add the power adapter.
I'm going to try a black marker or sticker to cover the blue light. (what is the use of it anyways?)
Still a great product!

very good cradle
Just to clarify, this already comes with a USB connector for the PC, I ordered a second one, as I had not realised, also does not fit if you have a case mate barely there case, but not a problem as just pop out the phone and pop into the cradle and bob's your uncle

Great product
Great product, nice price, quickly delivered. I especially appreciated the extra added converter for Dutch power sockets.
The product itself looks good: the phone stands firmly in the cradle and when solely powered by a USB port, the flashy blue light will not light up the room.

Great product, great service
This cradle/ dock is definitely made for the desire and not the nexus one as it fits the desire perfectly with no gaps! it is a great dock and comes with all power and usb cables in the box. I got a great service from mobile fun with the product being delivered the next day!

Great stand
This is a very good looking stand the phone fits well. My only problem is I use it on my bedside table and the light at the front is very bright but a slight modification with electrical tape has resolved this

Work fine and looks nice
One little thing: you need to use the supplied power adapter to charge the second battery. It won't charge that when just connected via the USB cable to your computer.
