Not completely satisfied

Had many nokias in the past. Decided to upgrade to the N8. Not really overly impressed if I'm honest. The touch screen is not as responsive as other touch screens. Sometimes have to tap hard and repeatedly before it responds, which is frustrating!

Great value for the buck

I've had this phone for about a year, now. With the newly arrived symbian Anna firmware and camera updates. This phone is "now" a great product for its price imo. Lets not forget another major(symbian Belle) firmware is arriving in about month, which should bring the N8's OS no par with the other industry leaders.

Back from Apple

I have had the N8 for about a month, its wonderful not to have to charge my phone everyday and still have half a battery charge left the next. I like near enough everthing about this phone,a good signal constantly,I don't get any bluetooth drop when paired with a Nokia headset and the music side is perfect. My other phone is an iphone 3gs,bad signals,bluetooth lost constantly. Glad to be back with Nokia excellent phone. JJC

Decided to take the plunge and upgrade from a basic nokia 3120c to nokia N8 smartphone. Although the N8 is packed with gadgets and widgets the bluetooth on the phone fails to keep connection when paired with car bluetooth. The signal drops and phone disconnects repeatedly. For a smartphone this is pretty disappointing, incidentally this never happened with the old faithful Nokia 3120c.
