Clever device
I am a high user on my htc, and the battery never last the day so this has proved to be invaluable to charge two batteries at the same time Well made and good quality

Just the job
This does what it says on the box. It keeps my spare battery and my htc Desire charged when placed on the cradle. As the desire seems to eat electricity from its battery this is a very handy and useful device.

Does the job
The way the HTC Desire runs through batteries, it's always nice to have a back up on hand.

HTC Desire Cradle
A very good idea holds the phone at the ideal angle to view whilst it is charging. One improvement would be a small rest behind the phone to give it a more secure feel should your need to use while charging Overall a superb desk charger

HTC Desire cradle and second battery.
I purchase a charging cradle for my HTC Desire and second battery. I am very happy with my purchase. The cradle is very well made and supports the charging phone in a ridged manner, none of this flopping about you get from some generic makes. The battery is also the real deal. As for price, I considered it a bargain. Hope this helps. Michael

HTC Desire Dual Desktop Charging Cradle
On the plus side, it works. But the fit is not very secure and I've had to add several bits of foam padding to stop the phone wobbling in the holder. I suspect its a generic unit made to take a range of handsets. I'll be replacing this when a better quality unit comes into stock.

HTC dual charger
The spare battery charge part works well, but using both this and the cradle to charge both the battery in your mobile and your spare battery, only the spare battery got charged,so this means swapping the batteries over, you might just as well stick to using the chager that came with the phone.

HTC Desire Dual Desktop Charging Cradle
The first model supplied did not charge the battery in the rear slot, but an exchange unit of a different make is far better build and works extremely well. The exchange unit also came with a mains transformer. Good Value!

Not a perfect fit
It doesn't fit perfectly to the desire an if you touch the mobile while charging or connecting to pc it breaks the connection or stops charging. Also the charge is slower than with the original cable.

Not what it says on the tin.
This works. Only if you use another none supplied cable. If you use it as supplied you can only charge your phone. Daft, but there you go. Cheap enough which might be the crux of the problem.

Sloppy fit
Not the cheapest cradle available and the fit of the phone is extremely loose. In fact the gap all around the phone is at least 5mm. The only thing that holds the phone is the USB connector, which means you need two hands to use it when docked. If you had a skin fitted it may be better, I don't have one.

HTC Desire Dual Desktop Charging Cradle
The product is excellent and matches the description perfectly. The only problem that comes with the plug uk version, and then for those who buy from another european country as I (rome, italy) you must buy an adapter. Mobilefun service was excellent, and yet in italy, I received the shipment in 3 / 4 working days. Mobilefun recommend to all those who are looking for accessories for their devices.

Quality & value combined
I had one of these for my Nokia N95 and didn't hesitate to get another for my new phone - it charges & synch's all in one. Perfect. 10/10 from me. Worth the money.

Great value
This is excellent value, great little charger and does the job perfectly. I've only charged via the mains cable on this but it works a treat to charge both phone and spare battery, no need to connect two leads.

Bit more complicated than you think!
I sent the first one back as it didn't appear to charge the spare battery and so I thought faulty. But then I read the review that says you need to connect the back USB to a PSU as well. If you do that, the battery & the phone charges but you still have to connect the main cable to your computer otherwise the device seems invisible to the PC. Like others say, it's a bit wobbly in the fitting, obviously meant for a wider phone but it's OK. Happy enough with it despite needing two cables to make it work and there are no instructions to tell you anything about it.

Battery Charging
I wish I'd read the earlier review about the Battery Charging. I sent mine back think it was broke. In fact, Mobile Fun said "sounds like it's broke, return". Just got the replacement today and the battery doesn't charge. Then I read the review about micro USB socket. Works fine now. Not a good design though.

Disappointing stand - not as per images
Very disappointed with the stand. My bad for not realising that it didn't come with a 3 pin plug (just a USB cable to stick into a computer or the HTC supplied adapter) but I was not happy with the very loose fit of the phone when inserted in the dock. The product images to me suggested a close fit to the phone when docked, the reality is a good 5mm gap both sides which means the phone moves when in the stand and concerns me that it will cause strain on the phone's USB port especially if you actually use the touch screen. Also mine came with a gaudy chrome trim rather than being the plain black as per the website images.

Not a good fit
It works and the ability to charge a spare battery is useful, but this dock looks like it is made for a wider phone than the Desire... there is half a cm clearance on either side. As there is hardly any back support to speak of the phone sits very precariously in the charger, and wobbles about too much for the phone to be used when it's sitting in the cradle. Also, the cradle itself is too light; it feels very cheap and it's a two-hand job to get the phone out. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the mini-USB port is damaged by this dock - just not good enough quality.

Works perfectly with the HTC Desire
Just received this Desk top cradle in the post and thought I would share my views on this great product. Overall this is a great product that works perfectly with the HTC Desire and looks great on my desk. More good points.... - Solid build quality - Handy pull ribbon helps remove spare battery - Phone still fits and charges even with the FlexiShield skin on. Ps. You will need a second Micro USB charger to charge the spare battery at the same time. I hope this helps you to make a decision

Good, but strange power design
I got the dock yesterday and immediately plugged my spare battery and phone in for overnight. The dock works beautifully for the phone and let me display the night clock at a useful angle. Only disappointment on that front was the brightness of the blue LED. A bit of electrical tape soon fixed that though! The second battery charger, on the other hand, was useless. Didn't charge the battery at all. The unit comes with a hard-wired USB cable and a port for a mini-USB. I assumed that the hard-wired cable would charge both the unit and the battery. It doesn't. I'd assumed that the spare port was for syncing to a PC. It isn't. Plugging in a spare blackberry charger to the mini-USB port turned on both the phone LED, and a second red LED that indicates battery charging. The hard-wired cable is now redundant, and non-removable. As the power going into both cables was 5V it would have been nice if the hard-wired cable could have charged the battery as well as the phone. I don't need a sync cable (the dock is no where near the PC), and now I have 2 wires going to the dock, one of which is redundant. All that aside, the dock looks nice, everything fits snug, and it will now charge both the phone and the spare battery.

HTC Desire Dual Desktop Charging Cradle
Whilst the unit is originally for the Nexus One the HTC Desire does fit on the cradle albeit it is a bit loose. Please be aware that the provided USB connector only charges the phone, in order to charge a spare battery you will also require another lead to do so. This lead is not the same as that used for the phone (Micro USB) but rather the older mini USB connector. Apart from that the unit works fine.
