Expensive but worth it.
The Martin Fields Screen Protector was fitted to my Desire because I work as an electrician and am constantly getting scratches on my screen when on site. The protector is an excellent fit onto the screen but it can take a bit of time to get it right. You need to follow the instructions about cleaning prior to application as any dust etc on the screen will result in a small air bubble. The protector can be lifted and re-applied many times without any problems. There are 2 more Desires in the house without protectors and you cant tell the difference between the screens, its really clear. The touch screen works just as before no problem. I have had it for 3 weeks now and there is no sign of any scratches on the protector, it must be really tough stuff. I have the twin pack but can't think when I'll need to replace the first one. The only downside I have noticed is that outdoors it can act like a mirror making it hard to see the screen, but its a price worth paying for the protection given.

HTC screen protector
Totally outperforms cheaper competitors which I had to return. Worth every extra penny for ease of fit and durability. The first one lasted for a year until scratched due to careless handling.

An essential purchase...
I did a lot of research before deciding on the Martin Field's protector for my Desire. No regrets whatsoever about this purchase. One of the best on the market, well worth the price. It is a little finicky to put on at first. You need time, patience, and steady hand. But once it's on, it's superb - unnoticeable, totally transparent, and makes using the screen a joy (even smoother flicking and scrolling I find). When applying, try not to touch the 'adherent' side that goes down on the screen (greasy fingerprints mar the finish). Make sure you keep an eye out for dust sandwiched between the screen and the protector. Any fingerprints on the sticky side and dust can be removed easily by lifting the protector up and slipping in some Scotch tape to clean up. When applying the protector, position it from one end and lower it progressively across the screen - and you won't have any trouble with air bubbles. Some people have complained about an 'oil-like' mark - this appears as the protector settles/wears-in - and I found this makes its performance even smoother. Mini protector for the camera is a bonus. Only gripe is peeling the protector off the packaging - this could be labelled more explicitly to help, but it's not a big deal. Twin pack is great - I wore my first one out after about 9 months and have just bought another twin pack to keep spare. No brainer purchase - essential for anyone who'd like to keep their Desire in top shape. I've combined with the Flexishield skin - great combo.

Much better than the first i purchased
I purchased a cheaper version of a screen protector for my htc, and it was clearly inferior - whilst I expected a few bubbles, the cheaper sp was riddled with bubbles that I couldn't get rid of, as well as not fitting the screen properly. The martin fields, although pricier, does a much better job. It's actually slightly smaller than the screen, by a few millimetres, so you dont overhang, making it more compatible with phone cases to - overall, pleased with it. Would buy again and happily recommend it.

Does exactly what it says it will do
This product is possibly the most expensive on the market. BUT, it does exactly what a screen protector is supposed to do.It is a bit fiddly to put on properly, however that was down to my self and not the product. It can be removed and refitted whereas other products are on or off with no in between.Two covers in the box make this a long term investment and a good one.
Easily wiped down or even washed, and then refitted.
Open your horizons and get a product years ahead of the competition.

screen protector
Having just received a rather expensive android phone upgrade I wanted to help keep the screen as functional as possible so I purchased a twin pack of these protectors. I have used similar on my previous 3 phones but these are by far the best to date as they don't appear to reduce the operational ability of the of the touch screen function.

Protect It !
Normally use Invisible Shield which are bullet proof but give a texture to the screen. Tried these and they are virtually invisible when applied. Easily to put on and doing a brilliant job so far!!

Martin Fields Always The Best
Bought these for my Mother and like I have been she is very happy. I have been using these for years now and cannot find a fault with them ,they can take some serious abuse but will always remain in place and crystal clear.

Bought this after a recommendation from a friend, and glad I did. So easy to put on, did it in minutes, no bubbles, no dust. Wish the product came with a cloth, I used the cloth that came with my husbands cover (different make).Also includes a cover for camera lens.

Perfect screen cover for HTC Desire
A very good screen cover. Easy to apply - went on 1st time. No sign of it lifting at the edges where it meets the rubber case on my phone. My son aged 19 months often plays with the apps on my phone and the screen cover is unaffected - just a quick wipe and it's good as new.
It costs a few quid more than the majority of other screen covers but so far it's well worth it.

A Safe Bet
I've used one of these for 5 years on my Mio so I knew what to expect ie. an easy fit and unobtrusive screen protector. Apparently they are washable, but I've never found that necessary. A worthwhile investment. Here's to the next 5 years...

Did what it's supposed to very well
Just made my second purchase of this item after being very impressed. It is so easy to apply and "adheres" well to the screen. The clarity of the protector is great, and upon removal it was great to see the device screen in an "out of the box" condition. Highly recommended even for the price.

Does a great job
I've bought cheaper screen protectors before and been disappointed. As I'd just got my daughter and myself identical new phones (HTC Desire) I thought I'd get these and they are great.
They fitted really well, and once on you can barely tell they are there. The screen works just as well as it did, and the visibility is just as good.
We both use snug leather cases and there is never a sign of the protector coming off. I'd prefer to pay less but I'd still buy these again.

If you carefully clean the screen (and table top!) then its easy to fit this screen protector and it is almost invisible. The only tricky bit is to avoid getting finger prints on the sticky side of the protector when applying it.
No affect on phone operation, but feels slightly less silky smooth than the actual HTC screen.
I've not tried cheaper alternatives, but this premium product definitely does what its says on the tin.
It will be interesting to know how easy it is to replace if the need arises.

Brilliant protector
I was sceptical at first that a piece of plastic could cost so much as I had previously bought cheapo protectors for numerous phones that were a total nightmare to put on and when they did, they were never perfect.
This one was pleasantly different. Extremely easy to install, bubbles just pushed out with a credit card and it's pretty much invisible.
I would highly recommend spending the extra pounds if you want a hassle free screen cover. Took me about 3mins from opening to having cover on :)

I found the screen protector easy to put on, no bubbles appeared, and since it has been on it just works fine. It has not got scratched, it's easy to clean and does not affect the performance of the touch screen at all. A good product.

Well impressed
I thought that my aging and shaky hands would make putting these on rather difficult. Not so, put one on my phone and my wife's in about 10 minutes. Most of that time was making sure the screen was clean.
Not noticed any adverse effects from putting them on so I'd recommend.

Over priced
Seeking to give effective protection to my HTC Desire I was disappointed with the quality. The film did not live upto what it claimed and failed to stick to the screen effectively. Disappointing.

Top notch
I agree with all the great reviews on here. This product is very straightforward to put on, just drops on nicely with very few bubbles. Also, the UV protection makes the phone usable in bright sunlight which is a problem with the AMOLED screen on the desire.
Feels a little grippy once you first apply it, but after about a day or so It's smoother than the screen itself. Very good screen protector best one on the market I'd say.

Almost not there!
These are very effective screen protectors - so good I forget that this is even on my phone!

Great Purchase
I purchased the twin pack as my wife and I both own an HTC Desire. After trying the cheap protectors I highly recommend the Martin Fields protector, the thickness of the protector makes application a doddle and assures me that the screen is well protected. I have not noticed any loss of feel through the protector over a bare screen and coupled with a gel case I feel like my phone is totally protected

The best?
After reading many reviews, I decided to go for these screen protectors for mine and the wife's HTC Desire. They are probably the best screen protectors I have ever bought, clear and no bubbles first time. I have not tried to remove them to wash so I can not comment on that part. Included is a protector for the camera lens too.

Very forgiving...
This is the first time I have used this product and I will be back for more in the future. These have to be the easiest screen protectors to apply and if you make a mistake, they are very forgiving and will allow a full recovery. Best I have ever used on a phone.

Does the job !
One of the easiest screen protectors I have used, and fits the HTC Desire screen very well with an approx 1mm gap from the edge.
Managed to fit it first time with only 1 air bubble and that was on the edge so didn't effect my view of the screen, this bubble has disappeared over the course of about 5 days.
Screen protector does not seem to hinder view of screen at all, although I fitted protector before even using the phone.
Service was also excellant from Mobile Fun !!

Personally found these protectors the best for my desire.I have in the past bought 2 others 1 being the the official ones from htc the problem being they are an exact fit which meant no room for error the martin field ones are a few mms short of being a perfect fit but gives you enough space to remove air bubbles they are also washable and keep there stickyness excellent product would highly recommend

Screen protection
Once fitted, not noticeable at all - doesn't seem to dim the screen sensitivity to touch is still very high, so great product. The snag? These things are not easy for clunky fingers like mine to fit - and always I seem to capture somewhere a minuscule speck of dust - which results in a bubble. The secret? if the bubble isn't too intrusive - leave it alone: trying to get rid of it can make everything worse. It would be better if there were 'tabs' or something to pull the backing off in stages - and so prevent fingers and thumbs contaminating the adhesive surface. For that reason, it drops 1 star - but once on, great.

This product is one of the best available.
I have tried several including the one made from scratch proof helicopter blade stuff... All the others had a poor finish that spoilt the interaction with the screen, this however was perfect.
This fits easily and accurately, no bubbles at all, slight gap around the edges but nothing of concern and the finish is superb.
Delivered next day, promptly and well packaged.
Have already recommended to others.

A real good screen protector
Other screen protectors i have used always produced air bubbles. With martin fields this is not the case. You can use the phone and forget there is a screen protector. Touch sensitivity is not affected. REALLY good.

A bit fiddly to apply
The screen protector does what it says, but it is a bit fiddly to apply. I managed to embed a layer of dust/fluff under the cover on my first attempt, but this can probably be washed clean. Instal the protector on a dust and fluff-free, hard surface which you have wiped down.

One down, one to go...
I bought this protector on the back of strong reviews on mobilefun and elsewhere and expected a high quality product.
The screen protector was simple enough to apply, using scotch tape to remove any stubborn bits of dust. There was no loss of sensitivity in the screen once applied and it was just as bright and clear as ever, albeit with a slight blue tinge.
I'm not convinced about their "patented scratch resistant coating" though, mine picked up small scuffs after less than a week in my pocket (not in with keys or coins I must add). Still, rather that than my phone's screen getting scratched.
After ten days of use, a strange scorch mark has appeared on the protector. I'm not sure why but my Desire does get a bit warm when charging and I think this may have affected the coating somehow. It doesn't affect the display quality but it is unsightly and I'll be putting the second protector on when I get a chance.

Screen protector - HTC Desire
I bought the twin pack deal which was a great offer for both new phones for me and my wife. Not the easiest to put on, but I learnt from my first attempt that the best thing to do is ideally apply the protectors to a brand new phone as soon as you take the new phone slip off. This way you minimise the amount of dust which instantly starts to settle.

It only takes a minute....
To apply the screen protector. No fiddling about needed, just square it up to the desire and lay it on slowly. No bubbles at all and the fact I managed to put a small scratch on the screen protector within an hour of applying it has made it well worth the money. Plus I have a spare now for when my phone starts to look battered!.

Effective screen protectors
Prompt delivery. These screen protectors are easy to apply to the HTC Desire and do not affect the viewing or operation of the screen. Only four stars as these are, I think, a tad overpriced for two pieces of flimsy (but very effective) bits of plastic.

A must have product
What can I say? A definite must-have product. Glides on easily. No worries with bubbles, they just slide away under a credit card. If you need to reapply your protector, clean the sticky side of dust and fluff with sellotape first. I found that the best method is to tear off four strips of sellotape, each slightly longer than the protector, and apply them all side-by-side and slightly overlapping so that the back of the shield is completely sellotaped up. It also helps if you handle the protector by lifting it with the edge of a credit-card rather than with the tips of your fingers, as fingers inevitably leave fingerprints.

A good option
I wanted something to cover the screen of my brand new Desire. Unfortunately in my country there weren't any yet, so I had to order online. I 've seen many reviews for Martin Fields screen protectors, and everyone was positive. Guess what... mine is as well! Fits pretty good, even though you have to be careful to avoid air bubbles but in the end is perfect. I only give four stars since I haven't seen other options for Desire to compare with.

Stunning
I have an Htc Desire and was looking for a screen cover. Had invisisheild cover for previous LG Viewty, But wasn't entirley happy. So went for the Martin Fields to give it a try. Absolutely Stunning. As if i don't have a protector on at all. And the application was a doddle. Used the scotch tape application. went on perfect first time. Please get this for your Desire. It deserves it!!!!

No bubbles whatsoever!
I've previously tried the official HTC Desire and the Zagg invisibleShield protectors. The HTC protector just bubbled up all over despite all efforts with credit card to iron them out. The Zagg was not much better and the tactile feel of the protector is rubbery and awful with bubbles. I threw both away in sheer frustration. I was then going to get a ORA protector from Expansys, prior experience of them was excellent, however the reviews suggest it doesnt even fit the Desire screen! So, Martin Fields was the next up. It went on first time and it NEVER bubbled up once, or subsequent times when I re-applied to straighten it up. Nice slick feel to the protector, and no bubbles. 4/5 because the application method is pretty standard, peel off backing and hope you catch it by the edges before applying. The ORA has the best application method as both the sticky-side and the non-sticky side of the protector has backing with finger holds. The Zagg the worst method with water being splashed everywhere (I kid not!).
All-in-all Martin Fields is probably the best range of protectors you can buy - and I've tried a few!

Does the job!
I'd had my HTC Desire a few days so there were fingermarks on the screen. Using several strips of scotch/sellotape removed both the grease and little flecks - better than trying to use a cloth IMO. The blue surround on the MF shows the outward facing side of the protector. Note it also has a slight curve on the top edge (straight on the bottom) - the camera cut-out is at the *bottom*... I put mine on upside down - doh! Instructions could have been better but protector is v good - no bubbles & very clear. HTH

Excellent service and quick delivery from mobilefun as usual. When the pack arrived it took me a couple tries to get the protector down without fingerprints, dust or bubbles marring the finish, but once I was able to get it correctly in place I understood why the many reviews on the 'Net claimed that having one of these on is like having a new screen. Fingers tend to slide across the surface a bit easier than on the bare screen. However, the visibility of the screen is undisturbed by the presence of the protector - I can't tell the difference between having it on now and how the bare screen was with it off. I'm yet to put the 'protector' aspect to the test to see how well it holds up against scratches, but so far this Martin Fields is doing the business. Oh, and the price here for the twin pack is better than at other places online.

I got this item and it is worth every penny as no matter how careful you are your screen could get marked or scratched this is a first class screen cover it wipes clean easy and you can have peace of mind your screen is protected....
