Definitely Recommended
Our office have just had new HTC desires and we were instructed to get screen protectors. I saw how poor other peoples cheap ones were with edges not sticking etc. I decided to read all the reviews.
This protector is expensive - no getting away from it BUT it really does do exactly what it says. You wouldn't know my phone had a protectro on it, it was so simple to put on, I have no bubbles without any complicated technique to do it. I am so impressed, the screen feels just the same as before. I would definitely buy this again although I get the feeling that it will really last well.
Overall, very highly recommended, give it a go!

Best screnn protector yet.
This has been the best screen protector I have found on the market to date. No issues with air bubbles under the protector and the touch screen works perfectly.

Perfect
This protector is so easy to fit..no air bubbles and no gaps around the screen. Once it is in place it is very easy to clean and the screen is no less responsive.

Bought this as a different make I bought previously bubbled and peeled and looked a mess, this is easy to put on, no bubbles, looks great. Would buy martin fields next time no question.

was told it was the best.....
..... and it is. Feels a very quality product and you can tell this when it comes to applying it. Because of the quality of the plastic it doesn't flop too quickly over your screen trapping pockets of air. Take it slowly and it is like having a second skin. No visual distortion, the colour rendition of the screen is perfect.

ordered Wednesday afternoom, received 11.00 Thursday great service.
Already on my phone and so easy to apply and workd fien on the Touchscreen and I have had my phone 5 months.
ok a little surface drag and adhesion but that is fine and ok to type to .
Can 100% receommend this for your Desire and the great service from mobilefun.

Seems OK, Time will tell!
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago.
It turned up on time (Royal Mail 1st Class, arrived Saturday AM).
It fits my HTC Desire's screen fine, with only a 1mm gap (or so!) on all sides, and it hasn't slipped or needed re-positioning at all so far.
Doesn't seem to have affected touch-screen sensitivity and control at all, but bear in mind this is my first touch screen 'phone!
This only gets 4 stars from me as I don't give full marks without a comparison :-)

Great product
I've used cheaper screen savers previously, and have now used the Martin Fields product on both HTC Desire & iPhone 3GS. The difference in price is well worth paying, for the ease of application, avoidance or removal of air bubbles, accuracy of trimming, and for the tips on application (like how to get a bit of muck of the adhesive side without leaving your finger prints all over it).

Fantastic - exactly what I needed
Couldn't make up my mind which screen protector to go for, and so I thought I'd try this one mainly because of the reviews people had posted. I was not disappointed. It was all fitted in less than a minute and you can hardly tell the phone has a protector on it. It covered all of my HTC Desire screen, and it is still as responsive as it was before I applied the cover, so all in all, I am very happy with the choice I made. I would definitely buy Martin Fields screen protectors again for any other equipment I have just mainly because of the ease of fitting. Would definitely recommend.

Very expensive but worth it
A was concerned about how much more this one was compared to the others available. But it is well worth it. Easy to apply without any air pockets. Been on a week so far and the edges are still firmly stuck on

A "must buy" for your Desire
Having tried cheaper screen protectors which never looked right to me or lasted very well, I was reluctant to pay quite a lot extra for this one but I was not disappointed. Fit according to the instructions and you will find it is sturdy, bubble free and invisible and so far has given excellent protection.

Does what it says on the tin.
Easy to fit with no bubbles and doesn't change the look or effectiveness of the touchscreen.
However, it does slightly change the feel of the screen, giving it a slightly higher friction coefficient than the plain screen.

all that glitters is not gold
Applied when phone was factory fresh. HTC screen protector came off and put this on. It lifted on one corner within a week even after cleaning area with isoproyl alcohol. Protector is now ready to be binned after only 7 months. not impressed with the product at all. not very scratch resistant. will be going for cheap options next time as they lasted twice as long on my blackberry

Ideal screen protector
I bought this after having searched through the site thoroughly and looked at previous owners and what they had to say. This in itself was helpful and I decided to buy this solely on their recommendations.
The kit arrived very quickly considering I placed the order very early one morning and in good nick. I'm not one of those who reads the info and made a couple of mistakes trying to fit the thing. Knowing that I would have taken the time to wait and read.
Fortunately the protector itself is a quality product and forgiving. Despite having to lift the thing off a couple of times, then turn it the correct way round, it proved a very good fit.
The credit card idea of smoothing the bubbles outdidn't work for me too well personally, and using a soft piece of fine cloth was better - my credit card was a little too sharp at the edges.
All in all; you won't go wrong if you read the instructions and take your time. It's on now and I wouldn't know it - which is all you can ask - and it's protecting the screen, something which wish I'd done on a Pocket PC I had several years ago.
Well recommended.

Excellent device
Costly as an artefact (12 quid for a small oblong of transparent plastic!) but worth it in relation to cost of phone. Size is perfect. Fiddly to fit - don't allow it near any kind of fabric, it'll get threads between protector & screen. Also, don't be scared of removing it (a short length of sellotape will pick up the end) & re-trying. Once in place it's not noticeable & v. pleasant to the touch.

Seriously this is one of, if not the best screen protectors on the market! Really easy to fit (no air bubbles at all) and virtually impossible to tell you've actually got one on. I've yet to take it off to clean, but I'd imagine it'll be as easy as stated in the instructions. Might seem a lot to spend on a screen protector, but you really won't be disappointed.

Ok, in my usual manner I made a right hash of putting this protector on my desire. However, several hours, one wash and many scotch tape later, absolute clarity. Worth the money I guess, if you want the best.

Not bad, but not perfect
Purchased this "Rolls Royce" of screen protectors (with a price to match) because I wanted something which reflected the price of my phone and which would allow it to function without me really being aware of it being there. And on the most part, it does exactly what it's meant to, hardly know it's there. Except for the fact that it's start to peel and won't go back down in three places (having been applied perfectly). Like I say, not bad, but not perfect by any means.

After looking at all the options to protect the screen on my new desire and reading the reviews this one came out top. Without trying the others i cannot say which is best but i can say this cover went beyond my high expectations. Its fast to put on and will take no one more than 5 mins if your armed with some sellotape, clean hands and a clean table. If you get dust on the back as your putting itvon, just lift that area up and remove it with the tape. It honestly does go on easily. The screen cover is around 1mm shoorter than the screen which is perfect if you are using case as it stops any tight fitting case catching it. As for screen protector quality, its really good. Its easier to use the phone with it on as it offers a little more grip when using the touch screen. There are no bubbles or marks under it, just try and get it put on before you use the phone.

Nothing on packaging to see this is a martin shields screen.#
Very easy to place on screen; just wipe screen peal back of cover and place on screen, no bubbles at all. Easy to peel off if you make a mistake.
Doesen't prevent any loss of sensitivity.
Alread got 2 nicks in the cover which then result in a small bubble; i do keep my keys in te same pocket as the phone so thats probably the reason for the nicks.

I keep coming back
This is a great protector. I did feel that the sensitivity of my desire was reduced and you may notice it if you have been using your phone for a long time without a protector, but I put it on after 3 days use so I wasn't too bothered.
It fits the whole screen and I can't see any difference in the brightness.
You do need to get your phone completely clean before adding this so some pure alcohol wipes or spray would be useful.

I chose it after reading reviews that it was the best. It certainly seems very clear with no loss of touch sensitivity. You do get that coloured rainbow 'oil on water' appearance if there is any grease from fingers on the screen (easily wiped off) which I don't recall seeing with the original glass screen. Fitting instructions, for such an expensive product, could have been more detailed and clearer. The online video about this is rubbish. (Eg a tip I have seen elsewhere - to do it in the bathroom after hot taps have run, to remove dust in the air. It claims to be easily removable and washable and refittable - I would like more tips on this, including the need to somehow mark which surface is the top, before refitting.

Martin Fields Screen Protector - HTC Desire
Well, I couldn't quite understand how a piece of plastic film a few inches across could command a £10+ price tag, but now I have one I pretty much get the picture.
The Desire's crystal clear picture is still beautifully sharp and vibrant, the capacitive touch sensitivity doesn't seem to have been affected at all and those clever folk at Martin fields even managed to make the protective film the right size and shape (not difficult you would think, but some manufacturers can't get that right).
I can't be certain if the visibility in strong daylight has been adversely affected, but I'm not going to peel of the protector to find out.
It fits and sticks perfectly, with no bubbles and was really easy to apply (I'm a screen protector application virgin) I got it on perfectly first time.
There is a slight dent at one corner, from a careless "key-in-pocket" incident which was severe enough to take some of the paint off the metal body, but that dent is only in the screen protector, not the screen!
Arguably, it's saved my screen once already!
Don't be tempted to lift it to correct slight imperfections though, as unless you are setup with warm soapy water, lint-free cleaning clothes etc. to start the application process from fresh, you'll only make it worse.

Clarity at a price.
I have used many cheap screen protectors from ebay, the touch interface with them is not very good. they mark easy and downgrade the viewing experience of the phone. This protector however gives excellent clarity and after a day or two you will forget you even applied it. It also comes with a camera lens protector, I had been searching high and low for one of these and didn't even realise it came with this product. They don't advertise this part well enough. The downsides are the protector has become scratched slightly in areas. Not deep enough to notice on touch and you can't see it when the screen is lit up (only from extreme side angles which you would never view form anyway) but it is there. Also the main use area of the screen has a "petrol on water" like outline. Again this is only visable when the screen is off. All the marks etc on the protector just make me happy they are not on my screen. I keep it in my pocket on its own. Keys, coins etc are kept away from it. Bit pricey for a screen protector but for the cost of this phone I'd say the cost is worth it. Wouldn't buy one for a cheaper phone though.

This screen protector doesn't quite cover the entire screen but is of a very good quality, it can be removed and refitted very easily as many times as required and It's simple to apply without acquiring any air bubbles. Is it worth the money though? look at it this way, once it's scuffed doing it's job of protecting your screen it will have to be replaced making cheaper/lower quality items a more sensible choice.

Better than expected
As others have said, covers about 98% of the black window around the screen. But apart from that, it's all good news.
Application - easy. Though I do have experience so know precautions to take.
Clarity - very good.
Feel - very smooth and clean. feels thin but solid.
Easy to clean - I often have greasy fingers so would have loved some sort of olephobic screen. It's not quite there but is very easy to wipe down.
So far, it's stayed firmly put.

A bit disappointed. After a few days got an unsightly mark where the main thumb action occurs. Won't shift. Bought an Invisible Shield for my iPod Touch a year ago and have just done the same for my Desire!

This is the 2nd Martin Fields Screen Protector I have bought, having first purchased one for a previous phone.
Though it can be difficult to apply cleanly, especially trying to keep away dust from being trapped underneath, you can remove it and re-apply repeatedly, until you are satisfied.
Once applied, the screen is only noticeable by its edges and doesn't reduce screen visibility in any noticeable way.

I recieved this the next morning and fitting it was easy even for a person who struggled fitting a cheaper protector to a blackberry. It is very clear - hard to tell it is fitted. Also it has a good feel to it when in use. Highly recommend it.

Fabulous screen protector. Very easy to put on and you have to look very closely to even see it. It has had no impact on the responsiveness of my screen so a definite 5 out of 5.
The delivery time was also excellent. Ordered it at about 3pm on a Tuesday and received it at 10am, with the postie, on Wednesday. I was sceptical when I read other glowing reviews about the delivery time but it really is true.

A little expensive but brilliant.
Was a bit worried this screen protector was expensive and that it would be rubbish but it really does the job. The touch screen is just as sensitive as without and it is keeping the screen really well looked after. Great that you can wash it too. Have a couple of bubbles at one end but not really bothered by them.
Would definitely recommend.

I have never used a screen protector before but found this one very easy to apply, it was on in seconds with no bubbles. I can't fault the product at all. It may be a bit on the pricey side for what it is but if it protects the screen on my phone I don't really mind!

Good screen protector
I've tried many different protectors for many phones over the years, and this Martin Fields one is one of the best. I always have a problem with getting a few specs of dust trapped under the protector when applying them, and this one was no exception. The difference here however is that you can just peel it off, give it a quick wash and try again. And second time with a thin film of water and it went on perfectly. It's sized just slightly smaller than the actual screen (maybe 1mm all round) which I consider a good thing - any bigger and it risks being caught and ripped off. The feel is excellent after a bit of use (it initially feels a little 'grippy'), and doesn't seem to affect usability in any way.
My only gripe is that I've managed to scuff it in one corner after having my phone in my pocket with a bunch of change - but that's largely my fault as you really shouldn't carry your phone like that anyway.

An effective answer
Overall this is a good quality screen protector and was bought on the reviews available to me at the time from this site.
Having said it is good, in my opinion it is also rather expensive compared to other screen protectors that I have used in the past with the same end result. Maybe the additional cost will be recouped in the years of service that it gives?
Certainly I had no problem with applying it to the phone screen, which was a bonus and I have not got any air bubble problems under the film. I did find that there was a tendency for the odd bubble to try and form, but by just lifting the film a fraction, I was able to ease the bubble away.

Just applied this to my new Desire. Excellent quality, easy to apply and completely clear shield.
Better than any of the "soft" shields on the market.
No cloth or cleaning fluid in the pack like you do get with other brands.

-A bit too small for my HTC desire (0,5 mm margin on each side) so if you align it properly there is still some space between the edge of the screen and the edge of the protector.
- Doesn't curl
- Doesn't come off with normal usage (you can swipe it pretty hard, and it still doesn't move)
- A bit expensive for "a plastic film", but that's probably because of the shipping costs

Easy to fit
I found this really easy to fit- would recommend using sellotape to clean the screen. I put the free on with the barely there case on initially but got a few bits behind it. The barely there one got really scratched although the case is still brilliant. This one seems to have a little more resistance when touching but does look superb.

Would recommend but it has its flaws
I bought this screen protector based on all the positive reviews. Overall, I am very happy with it. It does bug me though that it's not a perfect fit and doesn't go to the edge of the screen. It also picks up finger prints more easily. It has saved my phone screen from a lot of scratches - in the few weeks I've had it, I've already got a few deep scratches on the protector. I would recommend it, but I'd like to see it lower priced considering its flaws.

Fit is Tight
I wasn't sure whether to buy a protector or not since I had already bought a case. However, I finally decided to but which one. I read all the reviews, some which had difficulty with a window mount and other things. This seemed to be pretty good so I bought. I have had "fun" fitting screen protectors before. I read the instructions and was not entirely confident. However, there is a video on there site so I watched that and it was very helpful. The device is just smaller than the screen. It took me three goes to to fit it properly: if it had been an exact fit it would have taken 25. Conclusion, yes this is good but fitting a protector is a fiddly and frustrating exercise.

On in 3 minutes - absolutely perfect
I've never felt a need for a screen protector before, The ipod one my husband had was evil and made it look tatty - I guess I'm not very gadgety and my previous phone was a clam and coped with anything.
I was worried by a few negative reviews about this product and it is very expensive for what it is on first looks, but...... it is amazing!
1) Read the instructions - have sellotape handy, clean hands and clean screen!
2) line up oh so carefully and let go - it hovers on top of the screen until you apply a light pressure and then clings to it like magic.
3) if you are like me you will now see a little bubble , particularly at the edges if it isn't lined up perfectly.
4) apply sellotape, lift up corner and realign effortlessly
ok so it took me 4 goes and three minutes but I'm a complete newbie and it now looks perfect. It does pick up fingerprints very easily compared to the screen but you can't see them when you turn it on and its better than scratches!

Fantastic screen protector, and well worth the money. Actually improves the movement of your finger across the phone as there is less drag that from the glass screen. Easy to remove, clean, and reapply. Just make sure you put it on the right way round after you've washed it or you'll have to wash your fingerprints off it again.

Patience is a virtue!
Now it is on the screen protector is fantastic. It took me about an hour to get it right, but this is the first one I've ever done. Watching the Youtube video first would have helped!

Does what it\'s supposed to.
Easy enough to apply,although the camera lens protector is a little more fiddly than the main screen one. Tiny bit smaller than the screen,but this isn't noticeable during day to day use. Touch screen stays very responsive.

Great Product
I bought this screen protector having already but a previous one from a local phone shop which left me with bubbles all over the screen and so much glare under light sources. Martin Fields product does the job brilliantly as described and was very easy to apply onto the screen. Although i haven't yet washed it and try to reapply it to the screen, i feel quite confident that will not be a problem when the time arises. My only problem is i found it a bit pricey just for one screen protector but bought it regardless based on previous reviews.

Amazing clarity
This really does what's on the box. It looks like the protector mets with your screen. The scotch tape method is amazing to place / remove / clean it.

Brilliant Screen Cover
Great screen cover, easy to put on. Fab way to clean it (run it under water, dry with hairdryer then put back on. Easy.) Thought it was a little expensive but can understand why.BRILLIANT! Couldn,t believe how fast the delivery was too. Will definatly order though Mobile Fun again and tell my friends too!

Martin Fields Screen Protector - HTC Desire.
Fantastic screen protector. Makes the 'touch' screen even better and easier to use and improves the touch response.
My one and only issue is that, as with all screen protectors it does have a few very small bubbles that I can't remove no matter what I do, they look like something caught under the cover. I wonder if taking it off and cleaning the cover would help? If you have an HTC Desire, get one of these.

What a great product!
This screen protector is invisible, so clear!!! And very easy to install. It takes only 2 sec.!!! No bubbles, no scratches. It's also thicker than other protectors. Great! love it!

On line purchase at about 16:30. It arrived from postman next day at usual delivery (10ish).
Service 10/10! how refreshing eh? A company that delivers how we all want.
The protector feels like it there, I mean you can tell there is a layer between the finger and glass. It does appear to make it slightly easier to view in outside conditions - how does it do that??
Longevity? we'll see, but for now I'm pleased as punch. Well done MobileFun :-)

Ordered late Mon recieved parcel next morning! Screen protector exellent easy to apply and almost invisible. Maybe picks up fingerprints more but wipes off fine.

WOW!!
Well i was a bit sceptical as this was my 3rd attempt at buying a screen protector for my desire. I went through both the invisible shield (full body) which was an absolute nightmare and HTCs own which didnt even fit the screen (you would think they know the size of their own screen!). Whats more both attracted so much dust it was untrue!
Then I was recommended this by Rob in MobileFun's sales dept.
I was expecting to use the credit card to smooth out the bubbles etc etc etc... But this one just dropped on, no dust, no bubbles just ease!!
It doesnt cover 100% of the screen, but it coveres at least 98% of it which is more than enough.
With regards to look and feel, you wouldnt know it was there! its a bit tacky to begin with, but once the newness wears off in the first day or two its back to its smooth self! plus you dont get discolouration of the screen in sunlight!
Thumbs up guys n gals! both to the product and mobilefun for delivering great service yet again!

Expensive and not that good
Despite the glowing reviews here I have not managed to get satisfactory results. I fitted the first protector immediately after taking my new Desire out of the box and still saw what look like specks of dust under the film. These specks case bubbles and other bubbles form around the edges. Eventually I tried the second one - same result. Tried cleaning them as directed - still no better. I've left it on as it's better than nothing , but not that impressed - and I think they are having a laugh at the price - I don't care how high the quality of the plastic is it simply cannot be worth over £12 - it must cost pence to manufacture.

A good cover
A good cover, easy to apply, certainly compared to the Invisible Shield that I've replaced, as by the time I'd got that on properly it was not a great finish. This however goes on easy, very few bubbles and they go when squeezed with a credit card. (all bar one tiny one on the edge). A good glassy finish which you finger glides over like the original screen. All in all well worth it. It is about a mm too short though, but that doesn't affect anything.

scratch free screen
Ordered on Friday and turned up Saturday. Very easy to put on screen and blends in nicely with the screen. Not a perfect fit but still looks good.

I think it is one of the best if not the best screen protectors. If you follow the instructions and clean the screen properly no bubbles appear, got it right first time not as smooth as normal screen but not sticky like zagg, very smooth. It is less than a mm out on width but it is for the best. very good product, fast delivery, i'm very happy.

I bought this to replace an InvisibleShield screen protector which was hard to put on and felt awful when it was on.
This product could not have been any easier to put on without any visible marks whatsoever. Once it's on it feels pretty good too, not quite as good a feel as the original unprotected screen, but pretty close, highly recommended

Finally, a smooth, glassy protector!
After trying several protectors and finding them all gummy and rubbery (Zagg, I'm looking at you!), I am delighted to find one that has a nice smooth, glassy surface which makes drag / pinch actions effectively as smooth as the HTC Desire's glass screen. It is also bright and colourful, as the protector blocks little of the screen's brightness. It is slightly prone to finger prints and subsequent rainbow effect, so I do have to wipe it against my sleeve occasionally but it's still worth it's price. It goes on very easily and even has a camera protector.

Pretty much ideal
I just upgraded to the Desire recently after a great deal of deliberation. With a device like this you certainly want a good screen protector! This one was well reviewed and I am very happy with it. Easy to apply - I actually caught some dust under it the first time, but after a rinse in water and blast with a hair dryer it was good to go again.
It is not a 100% perfect fit - there is a small (~1mm) gap at the top or bottom of the screen (depending on where you place it) but this doesn't bother me, especially since I have also paired mine with the FlexiShield skin.
Very clear and tough screen protector, but it misses out on 5 stars because finger smears are quite visible, especially in sun.

terrible !!!!!
i bought this product hoping to protect the screen and to help with the anti-glare i ended up taking it off because it didnt fit properly and i totally think it was a waste of money and way over priced for a flimsy bit of plastic !!!!

The screen protector does not fully cover the screen area.
As the screen is flush with the case of the phone when you swipe left or right or down from the top your finger can feel or catch with the edge of the screen protector. it has a kind of gritty feel. Its not a smooth cut on the edge. all in all its better than having a scratched screen.

Great protector - seamlessly adheres to the Desire and leaves no impression of anything other than the original screen. Only small point is that it takes a bit more diligence to remove finger smears...

Don't know what the previous reviewer is on about. This screen protector is fantastic.
Takes seconds to put on, fits perfectly and the result is a flawless crystal clear, protected screen.

£13 down the drain
Fitting instructions pitiful - the single flimsy piece of plastic I paid £13 ruined in seconds. The minute you get a speck of dust on this thing a fingerprint follows and its useless. Should be fitted by professionals in a clinically clean environment at this price!
