Perfect !
I bought this for my good lady and she is delighted with it. The phone is held very securely (I had my doubts ...) and serves its purpose perfectly.

Perfect solution
Docking station arrived quickly as always. It is perfect for my needs. The blue light is almost hidden behind the unit when the phone is connected and should not be a deterent. well done Mobile Fun (again).

good but flawed
Decent quality dock that holds phone firmly. However this is due to an slightly oversized micro Usb connector into the phone which makes me worry it might damage the phone's port. 2 months of use has revealed no problem so far so maybe it'll be Ok.
Strangely, the power and data ports on the back of the dock are mini USB. Oddly retro.
Finally, I would have liked it to hold the phone in landscape mode for use as a photo frame but not a big deal. Overall, I'm happy with it.

good product, old connectivity
This dock is a nice compact size and the HTC Desire fits snugly. Would have preferred landscape orientation but the real disappointment is that the power and data sockets and cables are all mini USB, not micro so now I have yet another mini USB cable and power lead to add to my increasingly obsolete collection.

Great piece of kit
Does exactly as it says and was just what I needed. Easy to setup and use keeps my HTC Desire charged all day!

HTC Desire Dock
It's not like a perfect thing, but it is what it's supposed to be. It is a bit hard to place a phone in it, seems like the connector is made by someone, who knows how it's supposed to look like, but don't know actual size...

HTC Desire Dock
Excellent bit of kit ,seeing as every lead ive have for this phone now seems to not connect to the phone to charge it this is dock should come with the phone as standard!!
get it now and dont ever get annoyed cos the lead cant charge your phone ever again.

Did exactly what I thought
For me this works.
Its solid, holds the phone v.securely and has its own power lead. Excellent!!!!

Good NightLite Too!
Bought this as it was in stock - the one I wanted wasn't. It arrived next day and got plugged in.
The phone is stiff to plug in to the base unit, but once in, is held firmly at a good angle. there is a blue LED on the base which is noticably bright if you use this for overnight charging, as I do.
Otherwise, it works as it should.

Excellent product. I would suggest that the cable could fit directly into the phone so that cables have multi use.

Simple but effective
Solid little dock that sits firmly on my desk at the office, enough so that I can easily use my phone while its in the dock without it sliding around. Phone slot in snugly but not overly tight (I have a Gelaskin and wouldn't want it to get damaged). The plug is also very tight which I assume is to prevent any long term damage. Best of all, my phone is always fully charged before I go to the pub...
Maybe a little pricey for its simplicity, but also may be the best one there is.

You can't use it if the phone has a case on.
It looks nice, it has a plug so you can use it to just charge or into the computer without it
The rating of 3 is a neutral rating I'm sure if I didn't have a case it would be higher

Well designed, good value
This is a very well designed unit. The phone sits well on the dock and is easily used as it is held at a slight angle and the base has non-slip feet. Although not mentioned in the specification, a mains adaptor is included as well as the necessary connecting cable. This adaptor is not as powerful as the HTC one supplied with the phone and would take a long time to charge the phone from flat, but it is good for keeping the battery level topped up while on the stand, so you are always ready to go. If you buy a second lead you can connect the unit to your PC for syncing whilst still charging it from the mains.

Just the thing
This dock is much more sturdy than I was expecting and the Desire is very securely located in the dock. Comes with everything you need - dock, USB cable and mains unit so can be used with or without PC. Well worth the money.

Blue led removal
The annoying blue led can easily be removed or dimmed without black tape.
Remove 3 of 5 screws under the front pads (2) and the center grey label. The led can then be bend (=dimmed) or be put away.
The micro usb i very tight at first, but loosens over use. The htc cable plug is way better.
Overall nice stand. The LED can be fixed and the usb plug gets better.
The phone stand secure and is very useable in the stand.

Great item
Phone fitts snugly and securely. Used as my bedside table alarm clock together with Kaloer Clock app). Would work just as well as desktop PC sync dock too.

Does the job perfectly
I have been very pleased with this item, sits on my desk at work all day. Normally just use it for charging but occasionally use it fro transferring stuff to the memory.
Phone fits in fine and is nice and stable in use.

Good dock with charger
I wasn't sure if this dock had a supplied charger or not. It does. Dock is good. Still a little larger then iPhone or Blackberry equivalent but considerably small then other Desire docks on the market.

Perfect simplicity
The phone fits in very well and the dock has VERY good grip on the bottom so you don't have to worry about it slipping. In short it's the perfect docking station if you don't mind the simple looks of it.

USB works, but charge does not
This unit works fine as a USB charger, but does not work with the wall plug charger. Although the phone would display the charging symbol, there was also an error message saying that not enough charge was being delivered to phone. When plugged into my laptop via the USB, it charged fine.
The docking is good, though, and I am pleased with that. To get around the problem of the wall charge not working, I purchased a genuine HTC charger (HTC TC B250), and used the USB cable that came with the unit to plug between the HTC charger and the docking unit.

Well priced, good delivery, easy to install. Bit stiff getting the handheld to dock at first, but loosens up.

Does the job
It's a smart design rather than super-slick. Once you've pushed the Desire onto the slightly stiff connector, it holds snugly enough and does the job of presenting your device whilst it charges/connects. Good value, I guess!

This is a great product, does exactly what it says on the box. I only wanted a nice cradle to charge my phone is so it didn't get scratched from being laid on the desk and this product does the job perfectly. Hold the Desire very tightly, I can hold the cradle upside down with the phone in and the phone doesn't even move. The angle the phone sits at is perfect, and enable easy viewing of the screen for photo's and the alarm clock on the phone. Although I only bought this to hold the phone and to charge it, the cradle has the ability to link to a PC via a second USB connection enabling easy transfer of files both ways without having to remove the phone from the cradle and connect it separately. I have knocked one star of because when placing the phone in the cradle the connection inside the cradle didn't just slide straight in and needed a firm push. This could possibly lead to damage to either the phone or the cradle in the future. Otherwise a very solid sound product. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Excellent
I got this the following morning after ordering in the afternoon; very fast, excellent service. The cradle fits perfectly - much better than generic holders. I don't understand people complaining that it does not fit when you have a case / skin, if it did then it would not be a good fit when you don't have a case, anyway there are loads of loose fitting sloppy cradles about for them to choose from rather than a dedicated one

Great Buy!!!
Defo wouldn't be without this item, phone fits snugly in the cradle and doesn't move about at all. Cradle comes with both a USB cable and a normal power cable and will charge using either option.
A must have for people who use their HTC's a lot.

Nice Stand, but returned
This is a nice charging/syncing cradle. However because it is so well fitted to the Desire, it won't fit if the Desire has any sort of case fitted. Therefore I had to return it under Mobile Fun's excellent 30 day return policy. Pity the site didn't mention that it only fits with no case on the phone

Excellent Stand
Had read an earlier review stating the phone was not stable in the stand. I can't agree, it fits snugly - I did once manage to topple the whole phone and stand (forwards), but the phone remained firmly wedged in and no damage done. You do have to be precise in order to dock the phone as the micro USB port is a bit tight, but I think that's just micro USB in general.
Phone charges or syncs as it should depending on which port you plug the (mini) USB cable into. And it looks nice on the desktop in an understated kind of way.

A competent product
It does what it says it will do. The phone sits fine in the holder but does wobble a bit but not too much to be a concern. The shiny parts have that "oil on water" iridescent look that is a bit garish but not overpowering. I'd recommend it overall.

Very good, but
It's a very good cradle, but it requires a 'naked' phone. There is no space down the side for any sort of impact absorbing case so if you want to use the cradle you have to take your phone out of it's case.
Other than that, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Just the job
Next day delivery from Mobile Fun. Contrary to earlier reviews I find that the phone sits very securely in the cradle, indeed requires quite a firm push to attach it. Perhaps the design has been tweaked. Neat and practical unit to sit on one's desk

Quite good but not excellent
This does pretty much what I expected but a couple of points to note:
Fitting the phone is a little fiddly to get the Micro USB port to line up properly.
Once in the cradle you can charge/transfer files etc but, as the cradle relies soley on the MicroUSB port as an attachment, it is a little wobbly when you touch the screen - holding the top of your phone gets around this but it would be nice if the attachment was more positive. Its the phone that moves -not the dock which has good weight & rubber feet.
It looks very smart and business like & even has a micro USB port on the back.People are quite impressed when they see the phone stood upright as opposed to just laying on the desk.

Quite pleased. Problems with skin
Dock looks nice. Holds the phone at quite a vertical angle. Must be about 5 degrees from being upright. Has space for a skin but doesn't charge using the "Advanced FlexiShield Skin For The HTC Desire" without pressing on the top of the device. Immediately it stops charging if I let it go. Otherwise its great. Even has a mini usb in the back.

Don't get your hopes up
The dock does what it says on the tin. It held my HTC Desire fair okay. It wasn't as secure as I had hoped but I'll be able to live with it. The pads on the bottom are very good, it takes a lot to slide it around the surface.
Packaging was unnecessarily large!
