Just what i required
The items i received fitted the htc desire perfectly, and the screen view is no different to that previously. As yet (two weeks) no signs of the protector coming off so the twin pack should last some time.

Gave phone a new lease of life
I bought this when I got my phone back in july '10, and over time it has become scratched, peeled, and generally worse for wear. I replaced it last week (after about a year), with the same item, and the actual screen was still in perfect condition & with the new protector it looks & functions as good as new. This to me proves the protector does its job extremely well, and will protect your phone's screen from rigorous punishment & use. Highly recommended!.

One of the best
Have tried other screen protectors. This one went on perfectly first time and almost 100% bubble free!! Some slight issues around the very edge, but really nothing to worry about. Cover seemed to be designed for other phone than my Desire even though it was on web site for it, but fitted fine.

Very Good Product
The Screen saver went on easily and I was able to remove air bubbles except at very edges where the phone cover overlapped but this is not a problem as it does not obscure vision.

Very happy with this screen saver which went on to the screen easily and air bubbles were easily removed by gently 'stroking' them away towards the side of the protector. Also used the same make but different size for husband's HTC Desire Z phone. Recommended.

Necessary Addition
The screen protector for HTC Desire is a necessary addition, and particularly if the TPU phone skin is on the phone will give TOTAL protection. Great buy and easy to fit exactly over the screen.

Does the job
So far so good - had it the phone for 10 days and it's worked fine. Was a bit fiddly to fit, but I've not found a screen protector yet on all my phones that was easy fit, so it's no worse than anything else.

Poor fit
Have to agree with others who gave low rating - the edges irritatingly don't seem to stick, and what is the point of those cur-outs?
Makes an expensive phone look cheap

Its does the job!
This was surprisingly easy to fit.
As with all screen protectors u dread the fitting, bubbles, fluff sticking to the phonejust before you fit it, but the protector went on great and quickly (its slightly more solid than u think but that made it easier) No problems with screen use after fitting. Still responsive.

screen cover
The screen cover is a good fit but does not stick down wher the hole is for the led light. It gives a good feel to the screen and provides a better feel than an uncovered screen. It is a bit of a grease magnet but no more than a HTC screen and cleans easily. All in all a good product and worth the money.

Protect your screen but have cutouts for proximity
In the past, I've had the HTC Touch Pro 2 and the HTC protectors for that were silky smooth and unobtrusive. Unfortunately, these protectors have cutouts; a square one in the top left for the proximity sensor, which I understand - although I doubt whether there's much need for it - but then there's also a cutout for the notification LED... Why?
Most annoyingly of all, the notification LED cutout is obviously cut with a punch or die because the area around it is 'puckered' inwards - meaning you can never quite get rid of the bubble-under-the-protector effect around the notification LED, which is very off-putting.
I ended up pulling mine off and stuffing it back in the wrapper, I don't think I'll be using them again.
To be fair, they do protect your screen from scratches and scuffs, fit perfectly and are relatively easy to apply - it's just such a shame about those tell-tale holes.

great screen protector
I Have Had This Screen Protector On My Phone For A Week Now And Still Looks As Good When I First Put It On. It Was So Easy To Put On. I Used My Credit Card TO Ease Out Any Bubbles As I Put It On. It Fits Perfect. When I Showed My Friends My Phone After I Put It ON They Did Not Notice For A While That It Had A Screen Protecter On It. What Gave It Away It Has A Bit Cut Out On The Top Left Of The Creen Protector As If Its Designed Like That, Not To Obscure Something On The Phone, But There Is Nothing On The Phone There To Obscure. Well Not On My HTC Desire There Isn't. Also It Wipes Clean So Easy As Well. This Is A Fantastic Sreen Protector. Anyone Who Say's They Have Trouble Putting This On Or Getting Bubbles Must Just Be Rubbish At Putting On Screen Protectors, As I Have Allways Had Touble At Putting Screen Protectors On Untill This One.

Not worth the effort! AVOID!!
There were a number of issues with this product, firstly since the back is and adhesive covering, it immediatley attracted airborn particles making it impossible to avoid bubbles.
Secondly, the coverage around the LED hole did not adhere properly.
Thirdly, the protector was too wide for the screen and sat on the body fascia down both the left and right hand sides of the screen causing 2 long airbubbles down either side.
All three of the above points apply to both protector in the pack.
After an hours worth of effort and 2 screen protectors later, this product almost caused me to vere over to insanity!

Too hard to fit correctly
Well, I totally ruined the first one, and only manage to fit approximatively the second one, with air around the led hole, and at the bottom of the screen...
The protection seems good, but fitting it correctly seems impossible.

Does the job
The protector has only been on for a few hours at present but seems fine.
As per earlier comment... "Exact fit for screen, hole around led does not quite adhere properly" but more importantly, the screen under the cover is *completely* bubble (and dust, and fingerprint) free.
You have to be quick after removing the backing - dust will start to stick to the sticky side (but I found you can remove it with a fingernail).
Does seem *very* pricey for two small pieces of plastic though!
As per earlier comment - "Great product - does what it says on tin".

Screen protector
Have to agree with other comments, not the best screen protector I have had. Doesn't stick around status LED which is then noticeable when the screen is dark or off. Also doesn't stick around the bottom of screen. No cloth to clean screen first like some protector packs.

Not Cheap, Just Nasty. Avoid.
After first buying my HTC Desire, I waited eagerly for the official HTC screen protectors to finally be released. For some reason this took HTC over 6 weeks after release of the phone. I wanted to avoid any quality issues of using the cheap alternatives available, such as fit and compatibility with the capacitive touch screen.
Unfortunately what turned up in the pretty packaging was nothing more than thick sticky tape.
It has a sticky glue backing, so no matter how carefully you position the screen protector on a pristine clean screen, the second you take the protective backing off the protector (an act that charges the protector up with static), any air-borne particles of dust immediately adhere themselves to the sticky backing, which creates dozens of bubbles on your screen that you cannot flatten out. Remove the protector to remove the dust, and you will find the dust very securely glued to the backing, and any serious attempts at removal leave marks or finger prints which are again, there to stay.
Tried with the second cover outside in my garden, thinking maybe my house was too dusty to avoid anything getting stuck. Nope. Same thing happened outside. The nail in the coffin was when I peeled the second protector off my screen to try and remove the bits, and a Green Fly promptly flew into it. Both screen protectors in the bin 15 minutes after being out of the packet. You can’t wash or reuse them like you can with the cheaper alternatives! I honestly believe that these things would only be practical to apply, if you were doing so in the vacuum of space. What is the point of a screen protector that turns your lovely mark-free screen into something that looks like the surface of the moon?
The HTC Desire screen is made of glass, so is going to be hard to mark. If however you (like me) are paranoid about scratches, I recommend you buy (like me) the cheap washable and reusable ones available. These don’t use glue, cost a fraction of the HTC ones, FIT PERFECTLY, and you can retry applying until you get the finish you are happy with. To use these HTC ones you’d have to budget for a space ship. Pricey.

Not pleased with the product
Maybe it was me, but I am very unhappy with this screen protector.
It seems to be a bit longer than the screen itself and one of the ends (the other end from the one you start from) will not adhere well to the screen surface.
The area around the hole for the notifications LED also did not adhere well.
Basically, it's unusable.
Ordering a different one... :-(

HTC Screen protector
Seems ok but only on for few hours. Exact fit for screen, hole around led does not adhere properly. No third film to remove after install, (i'd prefer another to remove after application) But great product - does what it says on tin.

I know why they send a 2 pack of these!!!
Well I have 2 of these phones so bought the one pack thinking 2 would do me but what I didn't realise was the first one you will trash and have to fit the second one. Now do I pay £10 for another 2 or put up with a bare screen? Oh and wait another month for delivery.
Good product if you manage to fit it right.
