sucky suction breaks spring
Had two of these units and both broke due to the spring breaking and leaving little suction left to adhere to window. Otherwise a great unit, if you like it falling off your windscreen during driving. Shan't be buying another.

Good but could be better.
The mounting bracket works well but is better if modified so that the volume button was not pressed when the phone is put in the holder, I have modified mine to clear the volume button but this should be done by the manufacturer

Car Pack for HTC HD2
I initially purchased 6 of these packs in March 2010. I was impressed with the quality of the product and the design features with allows flexibilty in its use. Definitely good value, which is why I have just purchsed a further 6.

HTC HD2 Car Pack
The description of this item led me to believe that it was designed specifically for the HTC HD2, if that is true then they should consider firing the designer.
Like most others have said when you place the phone in the holder it presses the volume button, which is very annoying.
To rectify this I took my trusty little hacksaw to it and removed a little bit that touches the volume key, works fine now, but I shouldn't of had to do this if it was designed correctly in the first place.
As for everything else it all works, sticks to the window well and the charger charges.

Car Pack For The HTC HD2 - Brilliant
Very well made - incredible pricing especially when compared to HTC branded product.
Read in a review before I purchased it that the holder interferes with the volume button but took my hacksaw to it as suggested 1cm cut required- works fine now.
Thoroughly recomended

Best For the Price
Tried a few similar and all were almost useless. Best I've found so far for money but not perfect - the volume control may toggle in landscape mode and really needs to have a corresponding slot cut out of the plastic by manufacturer (or else get a sharp scalpel and DIY). Grips well, flexible & sturdy construction. Recommended.

Good value
The car pack is great value for money. It works well, attaching to the window easily after you get used to the suction mechanism lever and has not fallen off yet. The holder is fine, with good movement in all directions, there is a click mechanism to easily change from portrait to landscape. The volume controls on the side of the phone are a bit restricted but this is a minor irritation. Overall I am very happy and recommend.

Great Stuff
Good stuff for car trips with my HD2. The only deffect is the left side which covers the sound button.
When you turn the phone, it can push the sound button.

Disappointing
I have bought a few things from Mobilefun and been very happy with them but this one does suffer from some basic flaws.
The actual arm fits securely to the windscreen and adjust well however the holder for the HD2 is poorly designed. The holder presses against the volume control button and silences the phone, not much use when you are trying to use Co-Pilot and the mini usb plug doesn’t go in properly as there is some plastic in the way but does make contact. The lead for the charger is also a bit on the short side but has not pulled itself out yet.
On balance I would not buy it again and could not really recommend it

Fantastic holder, pants charger
This holder is exactly how one should be. Not with a huge gooseneck and flexible enough to provide all sort of angle combos.
The downside is that the supplied charger is does not provide enough charge. With the satnav on, the battery drains away quite happy, leaving you with a charging symbol, but no actual charging. Switching to my USB adapter for the car charger works fine.
I have had this for a nearly a few weeks. The fuse has gone in the charger, so that has been relegated.
In all a great holder, but buy a separate car charger.

Great bar one design flaw
This holder sticks to the windscreen really well, and it holds the phone nice and snug.
It doesn't wobble around when driving and can be adjusted to fit in the corner of my dash perfectly.
The only problem I have with it is that if you wish to turn your phone to landscape, (Which I do for Tomtom) the holder presses against the volume down button and silences the phone. Very annoying!
I will have to find myself a hacksaw to remove this part of the holder. Not the most ideal solution but other than this poor design error the holder does a superb job.
I'm not forking out for the official HTC holder as it costs far too much. For those of you that would like to use co-pilot with this holder, there is a simple fix/how to on the net.

As holder very good but not what I want.
If you want this holder to lunch navipanel forget it. It won’t work with Copilot. When you slide the phone into holder the camera scrapes against release mech, this clips off if you don't want it on. The cord is to short, this courses the plug to sit in the phone skew.
You are unable to adjust volume down because part of the volume switch is covered, not very well thought out.
As a holder it is ok and sticks to the windscreen very well.
In general not very happy with it.

Nice one ;)
Just arrived and built in my car. The frame looks rock solid and my HTC HD2 fits well in the holder.
The car battery charger, at least for me, works and looks perfect.
Just one thing to note. I have to modify the lower side of the holder case because otherwise the micro USB plug cannot properly enter in the mobile device.
Recommended! :)

Good as far as it goes
Pros: sticks to your window, holds the HD2
Cons: HTC Navipanel only automatically starts on the HTC branded car holder (£60), that said check out XDA developers to see how to find the .exe and change navipanel into a visible program.
Power cable too short and pulls on the plug into the phone which can mean the connection isn't always made.
If you can wait & afford the HTC holder you may find its better, if not this does the job if your ok with hunting out the navipanel from windows and changing the 'stayon' time settings.
