Cheaper than buying cables

I original bought this as I have changed mobiles recently and wanted to save money on replacing all of the cables, as the new phone has a different connector. It's small and compact. But saying that, I'd imagine it might be quite easy to loose. As there so cheap, you might as well have a few of them.

Very nice magic switch

Very useful and very difficult to find. You can use data cable as Power Supply from usb power outlet. I also added a micro switch which shorts out pin 4 and 5 so you can switch the port to USB HOST and connect USB accessories like USB pens and others. Very recomended.

An indispensable accessory

This adapter has exceeded all expectations. I have tried a number other dedicated leads with the HTC Desire and found that the phone is not recognised for data transfer (in Windows 7) by the computer. This small device DOES work, it indicates clearly the mode it is in and it saves keeping yet another type of lead.

great bit of kit

I have a plethora of redundant mini usb leads/chargers. Now with this handy little adaptor I can re-use my car charger & my old mini usb leads. Simple to switch between charge or data transfer & both modes work a treat

A neat little switch

The unit does exactly what is says. However, I have a Nokia N900 and was looking to this little unit to allow me to use a solar charger with my phone as N900's have issues with 'dumb' chargers. It didn't work but the unit will no doubt come in handy. Service from Mobilefun was excellent.
