OtterBox For Nokia E72 Commuter Series

Excellent case! It adds very little to the size of the phone. Also it makes the phone easier to hold and more secure in your hand. Although there are three elements to the case it is easy to fit.

The case comes in two parts with the silicone part going on first. The hard shell protects the side and most of the back. Part of the silicone case is exposed at the back which stops the phone sliding on a hard surface. Dislikes: The camera lens is flush with the case. I would not lay the phone face-up as I thought the lens could easily get scratched. Dust sticks to the silicone case. The plug that protect the headphone socket sits in the socket and this will make the phone asks if something is plugged in. Easy to cancel, but a minor nuisance each time the plug is replaced or the phone is turned on. Likes: Silicone case is on slip, so face down the phone will not slide about. Easy to fit the case. Protected buttons easily used. The lanyard can be fed through the bottom (through the power-port plug). Overall: A good buy for moderate protection.

I bought this case case after reading 5 Star reports, it fits well looks good, but I have found a problem, people on calls keep telling me they can hear there voices echoing back at them, so I tried it myself phoned my wife on the phone and it echo's annoyingly, she took the case off, echo gone, put it back on again during a call and the echo comes back, I have took it off now as I use the phone for business. Nobody else on any revues have mentioned this, but it is effecting my phone.

Perfect fit and all funtions/connections can still be used without fuss. I have a slight concern on the robustness of the headphone plug cover though, as I am not convinced this will stand the test of time. It is only a dust plug, so I doubt I'll loose any sleep over it if it does eventually fall off.

How clever of OtterBox to enclose the high quality silicone rubber case with a tough, polycarb outer shell. The result is a truly perfect fit, with elements of the silicone left exposed for grip and aesthetics. I was not interested in fumbling to access the phone from a leather case or pouch; invariably, by the time I would get the phone out of its case, the call had gone, or I would see the phone slip out onto the ground. The OtterBox gives useful protection to the phone, if dropped and completely shields the shiny metal finish from scratches and knocks. The steel back is covered, too. The case gives the user a very secure grip and creates little in the way of additional bulk. Five stars to OtterBox for this practical and attractive case solution.
