Need a Bluetooth headset? You need this!
What can I say?! This does exactly what it says on the tin! It's sleek, very easy to use and set up and the audio quality is superb. The OLED display is very useful and the touch sensitive/swipe volume control is very neat. I love the fact I can pair this up to both my iPhone 4 and my iPad and switch between the two on the device itself, rather than fiddling about with the Apple devices. The built in FM radio is very good and extremely welcome as Apple don't include FM radio in their devices. The display readout of song data and RDS Station data is very clear for something so small. I was up an running in less than a minute and the added bonus of Android software was an unexpected surprise :-) A quality product, at an excellent price, delivered with lightning speed. A typically excellent Mobile Fun purchase.

the perfect bluetooth headset
The sony ericsson mw 600 is about the best headset I have ever purchased, the sound quality is simply perfect and very clear. Battery life is also very good, I use the built in radio all the time. The only bad thing I can say is that it uses a different charger than my phone so can't charge from my car charger.

flimsy plastic clip
Very good in lots of ways, battery life, sound quality, the only thing that lets it down is the flimsy plastic clip that fastens it to your clothes, mine broke, so although the device is still ok, cant use it as I am unable to clip it to my clothes, so cant use it to take and make calls as microphone is too far from my mouth. Such a shame as otherwise its very good, this is why I have marked it down

Great product.
Does exactly what I need. Great sound, good battery life, built in radio is a great added touch. Disappointed that mine arrived without a charger, although clearly it was supposed to have one. However I have plenty of them so not essential. Going by the packaging it looks like it was a returned item, parts just stuffed in the box. However it works great. 5 Stars for the product. 0 stars for mobilefun.

A bit hit and miss
Bought this in March, and it packed up in August. Was ok initially, but it started developing problems after 4 months. First the reception got worse, and then listening to music became more and more difficult as the sound quality lessened. A bit dissapointed with SE on this as I have an Xperia X10 and expected it to to just work with the phone no hassle. Plus the screen does not show contact or music track info!! Would have thought that would be standard!

could have been 5 star
Had the headset for two weeks, good points sound quality very good only dropped signal once I could leave phone on my desk and still a perfect signal 30 feet away no problem. Bad points one minor, volume control would be better with standard buttons. One major flaw the clip is far to weak and it will fall off if your not careful mine fell off and I caught it ok. But last week with headphones over my shoulder the clip came loose again that was the last I saw the headset and headphones when I realised they were gone I was miles away. I will get another set but will be very careful with positioning the clip.

Good, but.......
When this is connected you can get some good quality sounds, nice base without being overpowering and fairly crisp tones. It's problem though is the overall connection. It just drops it too often and when it does you find that you have to re-establish the connection again before it will continue to work. It's enough that I am considering sending it back. When using it with iPhone 4 it switches between calls & music etc fine but if I loose a call mid conversation before it will work again I have to turn it off, forget the device on the phone and then redo the whole first connection process again. I want to recommend it it's sound quality but overall I thinks it's too problematic to do so.

I just brought a mw600 sony ericson blue tooth head set as my xperia x 10 don't have a built in radio but the mw600 is a blue tooth head set with a fm radio which works brilliantly connected to my phone. The sound quality is spot on wether using the radio or playing some of my 6gb of music on my phone or even taking phone calls I just love this gaget.

Sony Ericsson MW600 Stereo Bluetooth Headset
All in all a good bluetooth headset. Music volume and controls are good with my HTC Desire HD, but in-call volume is a bit low sometimes. The volume control is touch-sensitive and can be a bit fiddly, plus won't work if you're wearing gloves...but the pros certainly outweigh the cons - I'd recommend this headset.

Sony Ericsson MW600
Nice design overall, small and lightweight. Unfortunately I thought a rechargeable AAA battery went inside( my own fault as I mis judged the use of the battery in the photo ), a plus point In unison with the changeable headphones. Although the unit is small and the radio is pretty good, it can be a bit awkward to find somewhere comfy to put it. However my disappointment in comfort has been overcome by the fact I can leave my phone in the gym locker, walk through two doors and still get a reception!, sometimes having to face right direction, granted. I was stunned by that, easily 40foot and through two walls. If you're forever up and down with volume, avoid this set up as it's way too fiddly, which is unfortunate but I can settle for an even volume turning it up/down once in a while.

mw600 sterio bluetooth headset compatability probl
As for device itself i cant fault it the design is flawless and the sound is crisp. BUT! When u say something is compatable it should be that on every level not just some of the functions. The mw600 is not fully compatable with the x10 but u lot allready know that and your failure to make this information availible to me before sale will make me think twice before usimg yr site again.
MobileFun Reply:
Hi, thanks for the review, however the Sony Ericcson website states that the X10 is in fact compatible with the X10 and we do link to the Sony Ericsson page for compatibility which can also be found here. http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessor

The MW600 is really good and can pair up to 3 handsets at a time. I would give this 5 stars but the bluetooth adapter is sadly let down by rubbish included headphone with a tinny sound. Buy the adapter but be prepared to buy some decent headphones as well.

Highly Recommended!
I purchased these earphones specifically for use with my iPhone 4 on the understanding that they were NOT fully compatible, in that I wouldn't be able to skip tracks. But, I was pleasantly surprised to discover they are FULLY compatible! I can skip tracks backward and forward, adjust volume, stop, start, pause and take calls. They give a full rich sound and once you get used to fiddling with the wires to find a convenient way of clipping the unit to your clothes, you'll find they're very comfy and convenient. I listen to reggae, jazz, RnB, soul, classical and rock and these earphones do not disappoint; I am very happy with this purchase!

Very Good Product
Excellent product. Great sound for music and calls. I listen to the radio a fair bit (single station only) and like the idea of having the radio on the headset (so my next phone doesn't need to have one built in which will widen the choice of handsets). Comfortable in-ear headphones. Downside is the touch sensitive volume control which either doesn't allways respond upon first touch.

Would I buy it knowing what I know now??
A great looking device, great build quality and works well with my iPhone 3GS. Caller display is a nice touch, displaying the number and name if in your contacts. The FM radio is very useful and saves your phone battery. Overall sound quality is good, a slight hiss can be heard at low volume. The headphone socket would have been better on the bottom as it causes a slight imbalance and fights against the clip. When picking it up, you will more often than not, alter the volume as it is touch sensitive. The answer to the question.. YES

A discrete cool piece of kit- not for the longsigh
Bluetooth connection works well with my Sony Ericson Walkman phone. Unit works up to 15 metres away from the phone. It's a cool, discrete piece of kit. The trade off is if your eyesight is not up to scratch and you're a tad ham fisted, the controls on the unit are quite small and fiddly but once you know what does what you can change things by feel rather than looking at it. Once charged, the unit has about 10 hours playtime use before needing a recharge. Ear phones supplied could do with a bit more bass - apart from that a brilliant piece of kit.

Brilliant!
These are the best bluetooch reciver/headphones I have ever used. The sound quality is fantastic, the recever is small and works really well. I have had no drop outs or lost connection as I had suffered with previous bluetooth headpohnes. It connect quickly and easily, pairing was easy and the radio is a handy addition although on my commute to work there is too much interference (powe lines/tunnels etc) to make the most of it. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. The price was great and delivery was fast.

pairing
I bought this to go with a sony mp4 that I already had and a motorola razrv8. The set works perfectly the only problem I am having is pairing the phone and mp4 player so they are both connected at the same time. It will do either seperatly but not both at the same time , but I suspect its more down to me than the equipmet. I would very much recomend this product even if I have to change my mobile phone for a sony erricson.

Great sounding Bluetooth device
I have had a number of stereo Bluetooth headsets over the years, but I have to say, that for sound quality, this is probably the best I have ever listened to (even the included headphones are, for once, half-way decent) The device is seriously "cool" looking, the mic on the device works really well, without sounding too "distant" or "muffled" and the bass response is spot on, without overdoing the treble. If you like your music while on the go, without the hassle of wires, these are for you. The battery lasts a while too, after the first few charge/discharge cycles. I even got the track forward/back buttons to work on an iPhone running ios 4.1 (note that iPhones running less than 4.1 still sound great but only the volume and play/pause buttons work, but this is the same with ALL Bluetooth devices in conjunction with any idevice on less than 4.1 or 3.22 with iPad) I'd give this device 4.5 out of 5 (would have been 5 if it had a lanyard to wear around your neck, as well as the built in clip!)

disappointed
I was extremely disappointed with this device. It regularly refuses to connect to my iPhone, requiring me to completely remove the pairing and re-pair from scratch. Audio quality when connected to my PC is poor at best, often sounding more like poor quality internet radio. This is due to there being no dedicated drivers to support it, and both companies (Sony Ericsson and Microsoft) blaming the other. The device itself is OK. Although the touch sensitive volume control can be temperamental. The FM radio is OK though - I'll probably just use it as a radio when out walking etc. Overall, I think there are better devices out there and would advise anyone thinking of buying one of these to look elsewhere.

Seriously Good
This is a seriously good piece of kit. I have been using a previous model Sony Ericsson wireless headset without the radio with my I-phone 3G to listen to my music collection when I am out Walking. I used a Sansa radio for the odd occasion I wanted to listen to the radio, it meant I had to carry both and although the wireless headset is very good the radio was just OK for use occasionally. When I saw this advertised with a built in radio I just had to try it. It is excellent, the radio is exceptional and from using the previous radio occasionally I now use this one a lot, the reception is very good even in wooded areas. The ear buds are very good quality and listening to music on my i-phone is a new experience. I cannot recommend this enough, it is exceptional and extremely good value for money!

Does what it says on the tin
Very pleased with the headphones. They paired first time with my HTC Desire and Samsung NC10 netbook. The sound quality is as good as one could hope for from wireless headphones, and caller display works well. If I had to be picky, I'd say the length of the headphone cable is a bit skewed, with a very short cord to the BT reviever and relatively long cord connecting the two headphones.

MW 600 Bluetooth headset
At last a Bluetooth headset that is as near perfect as I have found. I have had two different types of Nokia headsets both were poor on battery power and despite claims to the contrary did not last more than a few hours. This one has not run-out on me yet and I use it listening to music or radio all day at work. It is small and neat only minor criticism is you fix it to clothing with a clip, lanyard would be better but due to functionality that is being picky

Overall a very good product
A very good product with only 2 aspects that reduce it from a 5 star: key sensitivity sometimes means they get activated accidentally; supplied headphones lack bass, but that's a personal preference which can be resolved by using your own preferred 'phones. Otherwise a very good product, value for money and highly recommended.

Great value B/T headphone
Delivery as usual - excellent. The headset is about the length and half the width of a disposable cigarette lighter. It is very light and easy to clip onto clothing. It comes with a built in FM radio, although you cannot preset stations. I find this useful as I like listening to the radio but could not on the phone without headphones connected. The controls take a little getting used to but are easy to use. It uses the micro usb connector so can use with my Samsung charger. It paired straight away with my Samsung galaxy s and controls the inbuilt media player functions well. Responds well to voice dialling, redial and mute functions to the phone. Would definitely recommend.

Great product
One of the concerns I had when getting my phone (Google Nexus One) was the lack of FM radio having had one in all my recent phones. This product works perfectly with the phone and allows FM radio whilst maintaining full control over the phone (and more importantly knowing a call is coming in whilst listening to the radio). The phone pairs instantly, and the controls on the headset operate both the radio and the phone music player. It also shows up the phone number of any incoming calls and allows hands-free voice controlled dialing so all in all I am really pleased.

A very good product (used with Nexus One)
This is a fantastic product that does exactly what it is meant to do as mentioned in previous reviews: I wanted an alternative to the mediocre headphones/remote which come with the Nexus One. What I was really after was the ability to use my own Creative earphones without losing the remote control. In fact, the quality of the earphones is excellent - if not better than the Creative ones. Call-music-call transition works like a charm and sound during calls is amazing (using Meridian for music). One charge of the battery will last forever. It is very easy to use, though caller id and other info don't seem to work with my N1 (maybe under Froyo?). Two little shortcomings I found: (i) the remote is covered in buttons, so you are bound to press one by accident - I still occasionnally press the skip button while trying to reduce the volume... (ii) still haven't figured out exactly how controlling the volume works, as mentioned by other reviews, quite a hit and miss especially when trying to fiddle with controls in a crowded tube wagon. All in all, this product has exceeded my expectations and was delivered very timely by MobileFun.

thanks sony ericsson
I am so glad sony ericsson brought this out, I used the usual head phones before but found it was a real drag to have around your clothing, limited in movement and the wire eventually wearing out at the phone. With the mw600 it's simply another world, Iuse it daily,I work outside, the signal on the radio is great, only draw back there should be more audible beep when a call comes in on the radio mode. The music from the phone is fantastic(maybe a bit more bass could be good) I use this at the gym and whilst the ather guys have their silly hanging wires, I smile to myself, they think it's just an mp3, so when I take a call, the faces they pull as I carry on and they can't see my phone anywhere. The sound on calls is brilliant, when you finish talking the music starts again by itself. Well done sony ericsson, where will you go next from this?

A typically well engineered bit of kit from Sony. Absolutly tiny but works flawlessly with my iPhone. Saves me taking my phone out of my pocket in the dicer areas!

sony mw600 bluetooth / radio headset
quite fiddly to use, and difficult to read the display without specs. Adjusting volume takes patience Also have felt the need to reset the device to unpair a bluetooth device, but so far haven't managed to do this. The included instructions are not very detailed, but there's better on the web. I use it with htc desire; the display doesn't give track info; I think it does if you have a sony phone. It also behaves strangely with google listen, a downloaded podcast app; it took me sometime to figure out why I could hear speech as well as my music. I have to force close listen. HOWEVER, sound is pretty good, especially if you use a good pair of earbuds [I found the supplied ones good sound but uncomfortable]; fm radio reception is the best I've ever had on the move, getting a decent signal in lots of places other radios have failed. [I abandoned trying to use the onboard fm radio with the desire because of strange performance, again needing a forced close.] Over all I'm pleased with it, use it every day, and got my wife one too!

MW600 Review
Another great prodcut from Sony Ericsson! The headphones have crystal clear sound when used for either calls or music. The noise cancelling effect of the earphones really helps contribute to this. I have been told by friends that they can not tell the difference when i talk to them using the phone or the headset! Pairing with other devices is really straight forward and the range is also good (about 9.5 meters before the sound starts to cut out). The product also looks sleek! I use it with my Sony Ericsson Vivaz and they look like they were made for each other due to their shiny black finishes! The only criticism is that the headphone cord could be longer. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. The service from Mobile Fun was great. I Ordered it around 5.50 pm. I then got a text at 6.20PM saying the order was complete and received the package the next day!

Excellent headset
I've been using this headset with Sony Ericsson W995 & found it easier to use. Voice & music streaming is excellent, no background noise. Caller ID & music track ID is visible. Battery life is also good. No doubt to say the best bluetooth headset that Sony Ericsson ever made.

Excellent!!
I waited a while for this to come into stock and looking at it i can see these have sold like hot cakes! and rightly so, its brilliant! So far ive tested it out on the following: HTC HD2, works no probs, i can see caller ID, Track title (using HD2 player), skip next track, fast forward and rewind. Blackberry Curve 8900, this too works well easy to sync, caller ID, havent tested music on it though. IPhone 3G, displays time on the mw600, shows caller id, doesnt seem to allow next track selection. Dell e6500 laptop, synced up with the laptop no probs, streams the music well, using windows media player and shows the title, as well as pause, play and track skip. Another scenario i use is i have my blackberry and HTC paired with the device, on the train home i watch my vids (TCPMP) or listen to my music (PocketMusic) with my blackberry paired if i receive a call on it my HTC will pause and the incoming call and ID will be shown on the mw600 to which i can answer or reject it. Once the call is finished the music will unpause and continue, TCPMP needs a push play to resume. I tested this quick on with my blackberry paired and my laptop playing the music, similar result, WMP needed to be unpaused manually though, which is ok. Sound quality too is top, used with my Shure se210. Battery life too is very good, ive been told, by people ive called, that the call quality too is good and i can be heard, though it is quite sensitive to a bit of background noise. Enjoy yours when you get it, worth the wait if on back order. Cheers

Sony Ericsson MW600
Great piece of kit. Media player controls work well except, at least with the SE X10, the Media players must be started before music can be play can start. Radio is great. Love the volume control.

This head set is really good for those using HTC headphones and would like to use functions such as stop/fast forward/rewind/next track/previous track/ect ect. Anyhow you can see who is calling you without getting your phone out, it displays tracks pretty good, you can answer and make calls with the call button depending on phone aswell as home made cook roms on the HTC.Its a near perfect device to have as you can even put your own 3.5 headphones in making sound even better. Radio works really well displays channel name. Now for the cons, an epic fail for the volume slider as when you try and skip trax you end up pressing it by accident and to get the right volume setting is tricky. The clip thats on it is completely fragile one tug and it will either come off or it will fall off. The head phones you probably want to replace as you do not want it in your mouth they are too short. Anyhow Sony well done as you guys have the first bit of kit that works well but you need to improve some of us carry bricks and slates in our pockets we really do not want to pull out the phone unless we have to. 3.5/5 that is my rating.

Great Product
Amazing bit of kit. Ideal for all round use, from normal headphone use to having the sounds on your phone through the headunit in the car. Base nice and deep not to high to sound tinny.

Amazing headset
I own a HTC HD2, and was a little afraid that it wouldn't completely work with the phone, but it did! Track Id and Caller Id, the fm radio works great and the connection is also very good. Buy it, you won't regret it!
